Even though we are renting, we're not going to ask our landlord to send a carpet cleaner on account of our mess. (Side note: upon looking back at pictures from the time we've been in the apartment, the carpet only started getting dirty when our daughter started to walk, so about a year ago. Go figure.) The online reservation was SO EASY. I am the type of person who can't be bothered to make a call, wait on hold, etc. Here, you just log on to their website, plug in your address, and then choose from a variety of open dates/times on a calendar. You receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter, and a call when the guys are on their way to your house. The technicians were extremely professional and explained everything in such a way that I understood what my options were (for upgrading to more rooms, adding a protective layer, etc.). I decided to just go for broke and add a couple of rooms since they were there already, and there's a discount with each additional room. The entire process couldn't have taken more than an hour, and when they were done I could not believe the state of the carpet. There were a couple of spots that they couldn't get out -- baby formula, I think? But overall, it looked great. I got the protective layer too, because lord knows we spill stuff every day. It's been three weeks or so since the treatment, and the carpets still look amazing.

He did a pre-spray only on exposed carpet, he didnt move any furniture to spray beneath. He walked all over the clean carpet with street shoes after going to van 3 times for a second spray and to get those papers for some of the chair legs. No protectors for dining room table leg nor nothing left for TV stand. My carpet is dirtier now than before cleaning as I do not wear shoes on my carpet...I have a good email address to send this to the company all correspondence has come back undeliverable. I dont know what the second spray was for and that again was only sprayed to 40 % of carpet I do not recommend Stanly Steemer
