Believe that annoying jingle ... Stanley Steemer DOES get carpets cleaner!…read more We had become increasingly grossed out by the state of our carpet. Even though we are renting, we're not going to ask our landlord to send a carpet cleaner on account of our mess. (Side note: upon looking back at pictures from the time we've been in the apartment, the carpet only started getting dirty when our daughter started to walk, so about a year ago. Go figure.) The online reservation was SO EASY. I am the type of person who can't be bothered to make a call, wait on hold, etc. Here, you just log on to their website, plug in your address, and then choose from a variety of open dates/times on a calendar. You receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter, and a call when the guys are on their way to your house. The technicians were extremely professional and explained everything in such a way that I understood what my options were (for upgrading to more rooms, adding a protective layer, etc.). I decided to just go for broke and add a couple of rooms since they were there already, and there's a discount with each additional room. The entire process couldn't have taken more than an hour, and when they were done I could not believe the state of the carpet. There were a couple of spots that they couldn't get out -- baby formula, I think? But overall, it looked great. I got the protective layer too, because lord knows we spill stuff every day. It's been three weeks or so since the treatment, and the carpets still look amazing.

NEVER HEARD BACK from customer service supervisor?…read more Dear Stanley Steemer Customer Support Team, I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with a carpet cleaning service provided at my home a few weeks ago by a technician. We have been loyal, returning customers of Stanley Steemer over the years, but this recent service was completely botched. Most of the carpets remain dirty and uncleaned. Out of the 5 rooms serviced, only two are clean in my view. The other three rooms are still covered in dust spots. Tech claimed dust spots could not be removed due to vent? ? The steps and the hallway did not come clean either, and there are no ducts in those areas. It felt as though the technician spent more time explaining why he couldn't clean the carpets than actually trying to clean them. Furthermore, the technician was wearing an earpiece and talking on the phone during the cleaning, which felt highly unprofessional. Because we value our long history with Stanley Steemer, we want to give your company the chance to resolve this. We are requesting a complete re-do of the service, free of charge, under your satisfaction guarantee. I am not waiting on hold for hours either. You hand my contact info. We require a different technician to be sent as well. Please contact me as soon as possible to arrange a re-cleans with a new technician. Still waiting on a response. Been two 3 weeks
