They were straightforward, reasonable, and clearly focused on doing good work and earning repeat business. Sometimes companies see a smaller job and either don't want to bother or throw out a ridiculous price. That wasn't the case here. Jose and Jesus treated the job seriously, gave us a fair price, and delivered excellent work. **Lighting and Electrical is officially our go-to electrician moving forward in Orange County!** If you need electrical work done, I'd absolutely recommend giving these guys a call. Glen Rocheleau, Studio Manager @ Lightopia Costa Mesa was a great help to me. When I first walked…read moreinto Lightopia I explained that my husband and I were doing a total remodel of our kitchen. We had already selected our appliances, cabinets, quartz (color palette) and showed him our renderings. I explained I was looking for a simple yet stunning pendent lamp to hang over our dining room table and was considering the ginger black and white pendant lamp by Marset. Glen took the time to sit with us and reviewed our plans and offered his opinion. We were happy to hear he thought the lamp would work. When it arrived we were so pleased. When I was in need of Glen's expertise once again in terms of the approximate placement of the lamp above the dining room table he responded quickly. He took into consideration how the light should shine on the table. Both my husband and I were very happy to work with Glen.

I found Simply Lights and Fans (Nick & Gerry) to be the "Gold-Standard" model for how ALL great…read morecontractors in America should operate. From the minute I began communicating with Nick via text messaging (which is my preferred method of communication) I was immediately impressed by how pleasant, responsive, and articulate he was about answering all my questions, very honestly and clearly. After scheduling the work with Nick, he and Gerry showed up on time and began the job by professionally covering everything in house in the area where they would be working to ensure that the house stayed clean during and after construction is completed. They then proceeded by placing stickers on the ceiling showing the proposed layout of the can lights so that there are no surprises of the light fixtures' locations after they've drilled holes in your ceiling and have it be too late to make changes. One of the many things I loved about working with Nick is that while he'll install what you ask him to and where you want them to etc., he'll all also gladly & politely give you his opinion on items you want his guidance on. t On things like how to layout the lights, how many lights to install each area, which lights color temperature to go with or lumen power etc., and his expert opinions were very helpful to me in making my decisions. I think Nick is very successful because he's taken a very smart approach that the sharp & popular contractors take, do what you're good at, do it very well, treat customers right and they'll always refer their family and friends to you which is what I've done since Nick did work at my home and I'll continuing referring family, friends and co-workers to him. Keep up the great work Nick.

At the last minute, I requested a light outlet installed in our master bathroom but Nick did not have time to spare that day.
