We bought Siemens appliances previously and had the microwave break (inner glass smashed) and washing machine failed.both just outside their warranty!!!!! i have had one problem with my hob, one of the gas burners didn't work, but I had an engineer out within a week, sorted. All in all, very good value for money, and with over three years warranty to go, we're very happy.

Rang Abingdon branch where I made the purchase and they were totally unhelpful because I didn't take out the cover policy that they so dearly love to sell you. Silly me for thinking they could build furniture that would last more than three years. I live alone with my wife, she sits on the three seater and I sit on the other; we must have overloaded it. They were however quite happy to send out their repair man and charge me. When you think of the cost of paying cover year after year, with their great get out clauses and their frequent showing on watchdog I don't regret not taking it out. The other point I tried to make is that the spring holders are breaking due to metal fatigue which can take some time to have effect and can only be down to poor quality material which also means the problem started the moment it was purchased. But they're not interested and don't value their reputation or customers. Next time I buy furniture I will insist on a longer warranty or go elsewhere; 12 months for furniture is nothing and shows a distinct lack of confidence in their own products.

I received the items well packaged up and all-in-all very pleased with the service I've received. The order arrived a day later than they promised, which is the only reason why I haven't given them five stars. There were a couple of parts I needed for my Honda Hornet, which they were able to get for me, despite not being displayed on the site. So worth asking them if you need anything else as well.
