We called one day ahead to reserve our order, then day of we headed there for pickup. It's in a nice little strip mall area with plenty of parking. When we first walked in, I noticed it smelled a little like seafood, but like FRESH seafood. Some seafood shops can have a really strong fish smell but this smelled more like the sea than fishy. One thing to note is that it does not appear that they serve hot cooked-to-order food anymore. They no longer had that small kitchen/grill area out front. But they did have a ton of really awesome products! The owner was extremely helpful and grabbed our order from the back, showed us the lobsters, and then packed it up really nicely for us for the drive home, and to keep in the fridge for a few hours until dinner time. We also saw they had live mussels so we grabbed a bag of those too. I also picked up a Better Than Bullion in lobster base, I had never seen that in stores before! We also grabbed some hush puppies from their frozen section. The owner was super excited for us, for our first time cooking fresh lobster, hyped it up and him and the other lady employee were giving us some cooking tips! Everything turned out amazing,, the lobsters were delicious and every mussel was perfectly fresh. Just overall great place and great people! We'll be back, I'm looking forward to grabbing some of their fresh fish next!

Tasted great and the portions were nice. I must admit that I'm bigger on sauces than I am on rubs and dustings. Service was not bad. It did take time since there was a steady flow of customers. We heard from Darlene on Nextdoor that she had food available and was trying to keep her employees busy (and paid) at a difficult time for the world. Located in the old Soukup's appliance store on the east side on State St. And so we did....and glad we did. Only opened 3 weeks or so, coolers and freezers were stocked nicely. The brat selection is awesome, all sorts of varieties and mixtures. Salsa's, spices, steaks and the like line the cooler shelves throughout the clean, well laid out store. We picked up some Southern Pimento spread......OMG! Has to be the best!!! Couldn't decide on which brat to buy so we went with the Kentucky Bourbon brat. Also got 2 pounds of their ground beef at a great price along with some fresh sliced turkey from the deli cooler....and a jar of salsa. Other than the pimento spread, we haven't tried any of our purchases but I'm sure it'll be good. Kyle, from Blue Goose is a butcher here....another star! Picked up some store made mild salsa and enjoyed some on the patio today! I loved it! But don't recall if they offered a spicier version...which my son prefers? Only negative I could find is they don't offer a very large deli variety; nor do they make many salads to choose from. Joseph's has them beat there! Mostly I'm THRILLED a butcher shop is open past 5:00PM! Commuters and lazy people like me will appreciate that!!
