Hot Buffalo Wings with Fries. Rode pass today on my way to work . Thought of trying. The wings are not it. A wasted $14

Wings were horrible for the price. On my way to work and stopped in. Was going to do a sub . They were out of the meat.

This place is amazing!!! My boyfriend ate his entire "Midway" sandwich before I could even take a picture. We also got garlic fries, regular fries, mac and cheese bites, and jalapeño poppers. I can't decide which item tasted the best. Also, look at the history of the restaurant-- over 30 years of service. I even think it was the owner behind the counter and he was as friendly as the food is delicious. SUCH a cool place. 10/10

I was really craving a BBQ Beef sandwhich, and this place popped up, so I said ok fine I'll try instead of having to drive further out. The picture looks great, but looks NOTHING like what I had (see photo included) so that was kind of a bummer =( the taste was ehh. I really think I should've just went to Portillos for the beef (add bbq sauce) Its the best thing ever. Lesson learned! Those garlic fries though......YES, those were really good, especially hot out the fryer. The man who took my order/cooked was really nice, great customer service!

Combo sandwich with roast beef, corned beef plus garlic French fries BONUS They fried the fries while I waited so they were fresh

Good quality subs, nice service. Garlic fries were good. Only bad thing is they only have white bread buns, no wheat bread. Had a hot combo regular sandwich with everything and garlic fries. Decent quality and flavors

Off of Archer Avenue in Garfield Ridge not too far from Midway airport sits a small fast food eatery called Midway Sub. I decided to stop in as signage visible from the door indicated that they had hot dogs. A friend and I stopped in, ordered our hot dogs and waited for a few minutes while they were prepared. A red flag went off a minute or two in as we were the only customers in the store and we heard what appeared to be the sound of a microwave turn on. A few minutes later our hot dogs were ready. The hot dogs came on regular non-poppy seed buns. The bun was kind of on the dry side and made me wonder if it was frozen, and perhaps microwaved to soften it up (that could be the sound we heard). A rather excessive amount of relish was applied to this hot dog. The onions were long onions, like those you might find on a sub sandwich, not at all surprising considering the word sub in the name of the restaurant. The mustard was also applied a little too liberally. There was no pickle or tomato on this hot dog, but there were quite a few sport peppers. The sausage used here was skinless and had an okay flavor in and of itself, but when mixed with the excessive relish, mustard, and dry bun led to an overall disappointing combination. Overall I've had much worse hot dogs, but also much much better. I'd say this is a below average place to obtain a hot dog and will rate Midway Sub with two stars. You can certainly do worse, but you'd have to put some effort into it.

I have been going here for a while. It's usually home to the "Midway Sub" (a sandwich on the menu), but I don't really do sub sandwiches that often. The service is good. The staff are friendly when I'm ordering something. They go quick on my food, so it's ready to eat. I ordered a pizza puff and garlic fries. The fries were good, but it just tasted like the regular taste of fries. The pizza puff tasted great though! All in all, it's a pretty good place for food. I will come back here though.

After watching their YouTube video, we had to try it. I called in an order for their Signature Italian Sandwich and also the Pizza Sandwich. It was ready on 15 minutes. Super friendly service, plus they have a full bar. I bet this place is a good time afterwork. Anyway, my husband and I shared the sandwich. And it was so good. The bread had the right level of crust and the topping were so fresh. I regret only ordering a sandwich to share. I wanted that whole damn thing to myself. We ended up eating the pizza Sando for dinner with a salad. The Pizza sandwich was so good. It looks like a flat bread but it was so good. We heated it up in the air fryer and it was perfect. My photo doesn't do it justice as it had sat on my counter for an hour, but believe me it was delicious. Check this place out. I definitely could go for another sandwich before I exit Chicago.

Markedly below average food. Ordered the rainbow rolls, Grace's teriyaki, Burmese noodle salad, and…read morethe green tea cheesecake. Adequate service and totally unremarkable ambiance. The rainbow rolls consisted of plain, uncooked vegetables wrapped in rice paper, accompanied by peanut sauce as well as a vinegar dip. There was absolutely no taste to the rainbow rolls, and the peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter that had been microwaved for twenty seconds. The vinegar dip was the only thing that salvaged the rolls. The teriyaki did not come as advertised. There were chunks of glazed soy in brown rice - no other veggies in the bowl itself. There was a side salad that I dumped into the bowl to add some crunch and texture. The glazed soy was tasty but the rice was remarkably bland and mushy. This regime of blandness continued with the Burmese noodle salad: some of the flavours had potential and the dish might have been tastier if those flavours were accentuated, but instead it was a bowl of noodles and assorted vegetables with no compelling taste or texture. The cheesecake was both too sweet and remarkably bitter at the same time. It was fine texturally but the sweetness was overwhelming. The layer of tea on top of the cheesecake added some bitterness. The two flavours were totally incongruous. I have never wasted dessert before - if I can't finish it I take it home, but this dessert was so inedible that even at nine dollars it was not worth salvaging. Service was fine and the food came out quickly. The location of the restaurant in downtown Oak Park was nice - there was some sort of music festival going on outside that made an otherwise aggressively mediocre meal more bearable. Overall, I do not recommend this establishment.
