The technician was accommodating and actually went out to my truck to carry the generator into the shop. The shop was clean and well organized. It appears Midway Mowers is running a professional operation for small motor repairs. I had a generator that hadn't been run for years. They replaced the spark plug got it running and the price for the service work was super reasonable. They gave me a phone call to let me know the job was done - turnaround time was fast. Before leaving the shop, the technician at the desk answered my questions, gave me some helpful advice advice regarding ethanol free fuel and running habits For the generator - I was on my way. I brought my John Deere 60 in deck mower. Zero turn. That was a few years old but with only around 400 hours The mower was pristine and kept indoors in an AC garage. The scumbag shop decided to sell my mower to the auction after I had informed them that I would be there in 2 weeks to pick it up. He acknowledged and said okay and we hung up. When I showed up to pick up my mower as I had previously stated that I would on that date and time he had told me that he sold my mower to auction and then if I didn't take my other mower that same day he would sell it too. Needless to say, this company is a bunch of scumbags and I would stay far away from them. Anybody that's commenting good is probably just friends and family. read more

I went to them to have my lawn mower blade straightened and they wouldn't do it. Although there are all kinds of videos on line how to do it. He said never straighten a lawnmower blade. And said people who do, "Ought to be shot." Ummm, wow!!!! read more

I wish I would have seen the previous review before I went there. A little crabby? More like a Great White Shark. I got ripped off for $41 today and it smarts. After 45 minutes of mowing our lawn, my mower continues to run even though we release the bar. It's not dieseling, it continues to run. The cable moves, so I am wondering if the contact is shot? It only does this after the mower runs for a while. I walked in to pick up my "fixed" mower today. The guy said they couldn't find a problem. They started and stopped it several times and it was fine. My son said that's NOT the problem. It doesn't shut off after a prolonged period of time. The guy said what do you want me to do, have my guy in the back go out a mow a lawn? No, genius, but maybe he can tie off the bar and let the thing run for a while, AND then see if it shuts off? What a jerk. So I asked them if they could remove the nut from my Edger attachment that I brought along as it was stuck. Another guy looks at it, says I'll have to take it in the back and it'll be $12. Yeah, right. So on the way home I stopped at my auto mechanic, BRITO AUTOMOTIVE (5 STARS and a galaxy as well), who must have had 20 cars waiting.
