I'm 81 years old and had never been to a Chiropractor before. I don't like massages. Yesterday, my sweet and generous neighbor treated me to a session with Dr. White because of arm and shoulder pain, stiff neck/headache, and painful thumb. That was yesterday. Dr. White is amazing! I have just recently started to see him because I do a lot of long distance running and have started to have some back and hip pain. Dr. White is an exceptional Chiropractor. I started seeing him over a year ago, and routinely see him 1-2 times per month just to maintain feeling good. I initially sought his care bc of pain in my glutes, hips, hamstrings, shoulders and neck. I have been a dental assistant for the past 10 years, and it is very difficult to have healthy posture when chair side assisting. Dr. White spent at least an hour with me at my initial visit performing a comprehensive exam, and he quickly figured out that my hip flexors were way too tight. He adjusted me, gave me a pamphlet of stretching to do at home, and I have had remarkable improvement since. Every time I see him, I feel renewed! He did the same for my boyfriend who has a chronic back injury. As a bonus, Dr. White happens to be a truly wonderful person. He is always great to catch up with. I play volleyball around 9-12 hours/week. Sadly, my body clock (and my vertical leap) says that I'm 50+ years old, despite my mental maturity level. Since 1990, I've tried to maintain my body through non-traditional preventive methods such as chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage. A week ago I suffered a toe injury a week prior to the San Diego Senior Games volleyball competition.
