They said it was residual. 6 months later took it back and told them my mechanic said the oil pan is dented and leaking, and asked if it was covered. Picked it up the following Monday, only to find out after I dropped it off there would be a diagnostic fee. I was told after this was done, so couldn't really do anything about it. 2nd vehicle was a newer ram pickup with 4wd. As soon as we got off the lot we had our mechanic look at it. He said do not use 4wd because the tires don't match and it will cause damage. Called back to see if licaris wouldake this right and give us the matching tires, nope. I went looking for a plow for my truck about a month ago. Jesse at Licari Motors could not have been more helpful and informative answering each and every questions I had about the plow, installation and use there off. The techs who called with questions about installation, my annual NY state inspection due could not have been friendlier or more professional. Drove it about an hour home. Took the plow off the truck as Jesse instructed. Looking forward to that first "Plowing Storm" as it will be THE FIRST time I have not been cold moving snow in my lifetime. I know…read moresome factors played into the delay; like state farm taking 2 weeks to send out someone to review, and parts being a worldwide problem. I get that, but this plays deeper than those matters. I was in contact with a Body shop manager from Steet named Tim. Tim told me My car would be ready first two weeks of January, when that date came around, he told me the end of January and when that date came around it was hard to get into contact with him. I left SEVERAL messages and even When I did talk to him in January, I told him that I am losing out on money paying for rentals. Fast Forward to the end of March, still without my car and no word from Tim, I finally I get a call (after complaining to my insurance company) from someone named Pete who tells me they "Fired" Tim and they have a loaner they could give me. So, Since January I could have been riding in one of their rentals but because of THEIR employee Tim, I am out Over 4000 Dollars in rentals (State Farm only covered up to $1000). I tell him the issue I had and how much money I have lost, and his response was "they can't control what Tim did and his ineptitude." He's YOUR employee, this blunder is on you as it is him. Not only did I NOT get any discounts off for the errors they made (ordering wrong parts, loaner not being given etc). They couldn't even give me a free inspection Which expired in January. They gave me back my car with an expired sticker and I got pulled over and ticketed because of it as I left the dealership. This was one of the worse experiences ever. I wish they was more customer and consumer friendly as they know they played fault in the delay of my car being repaired and me being out of money. I do want to give them some praise though. When I picked up my car, they were very friendly, very polite. (Tim or Pete wasn't there) and My car looks good and drives good. So just to be fair I do want to put that in here.

    Literally the WORST car buying experience I've EVER had!!!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD…read more First off let me start by saying I'm a young, disabled, mother of three children. I went to Holt Automotive because at first they seemed very friendly and wanting to help my situation. I went in to buy a safe, reliable vehicle for my family. But after they took my trade, and my money things took a turn for the worse real quickly. They disclosed a few minor issues with the vehicle, one being the service engine soon light and abs light were on but told me not to worry those lights were errors and they did the NYS inspection themselves and it was ok. They did say the power steering rack was cracked but they would replace it. So ok fine. What happens next started showing their true colors. Every time I would call and try to schedule an appointment to have them fix it they were busy, or there was a holiday coming up that they would be away for. I wasn't asking for much just what they wrote on the bill of sale they would fix before a certain date. Well that date came and went and the vehicle just went downhill from there. They ignored my phone calls for months. It got so bad I took the vehicle to my mechanic to see what the hell was going on with it. Come to find out, the "ALL WHEEL DRIVE" vehicle that I had purchased was MISSING the front drive shaft!!! The front and rear axels were leaking, the TRANSMISSION was SHOT, (by the way the vehicle wouldn't shift and slammed so hard my children and I almost got flung off a bridge), the pressure control solenoid was faulty, an evap leak was detected, the brakes, rotors, and calipers were shot and the tires were bald (he told me he had just replaced the brakes, calipers, and rotors), the vehicle was completely UNSAFE to drive, and could have killed my family. Oh and HERES THE KICKER...IT WAS ILLEGALLY INSPECTED AT HIS SHOP! NO MILEAGE RECORDED ON THE INSPECTION STICKER AND THERE IS NO WAY HE SHOULD HAVE PASSED THE ROTORS, CALIPERS, TIRES, ETC. AND HE SOLD ME A VEHICLE WITH NO FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ON IT AND DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY OF THAT INFORMATION TO ME!!!!!! So I call him again to try to ask him questions and he kind of says what I want to hear but totally blows me off for 2 weeks. I tell him enough is enough I want this vehicle replaced. That is the least you could do. He gives me a pos "loaner car" that is way too small for my family and has a check engine light on, a tire that goes flat every other day. He took my vehicle with MY plates on it so he could just do a plate transfer when he found a safe vehicle for me. Another week went by and nothing. So I call him again, he gives me a song and dance and nothing comes of his promises to "make this right". Now a month later and I make an appointment to come in and pick another vehicle. Well he blew me off yet again by not being there. He said he was at the auction looking for a vehicle got me but who knows. Let me also say, the reason I made the appointment was because in a text he offered me my pick of 4 or 5 vehicles. I said ok fine I'll come look in person so I can look them over before I pick one. So while I was there I picked the jeep he OFFERED ME. I called him 10 times because he ignored all my phone calls while I was flipping out because I drove 2 hours with 3 children in the car to my scheduled appointment with him that he didnt bother showing up to. He finally answers and I say look can't you just have someone that works for you transfer my plates to the jeep. He says no there is no way you can have it today. So I drive 2 hours home, that's 6 hours, and $50 in gas I'll never get back. He promised he would deliver the jeep the next day. He DIDN'T. Then promised it would be the next day. He said he fixed the caliper, and vibration problem, so there is literally NO REASON FOR ME NOT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE HE OFFERED ME AND BE DONE WITH THIS HELL THAT THIS MAN HAS CAUSED MY FAMILY. Now he won't answer his calls, texts, doesn't have a voicemail set up. This man is a scammer. He has broken multiple laws, ie, ILLEGAL INSPECTION, NOT DISCLOSING INFORMATION ABOUT THE VEHICLE, NOT FIXING OR REPAIRING THEVEHICLE, NOT RETURNING MY NYS LICENSE PLATES, he has my trade in vehicle, my cash, and the car I bought from him with my licence plates still on it!!! They were deceptive and kept me waiting with excuses for two weeks. Five times I was told that they would show up to complete the sale and five times I had to call them. Each time was a different excuse. I am still waiting. Court proceedings may follow. What a complete disaster dealing with this company. Don't say you weren't warned.
