My wife stumbled upon this place, came home and declared she wanted to go try it. So we jumped back in the car and went right back Bottom line; this is our new favorite taco shop! The carne asada tacos are awesome! I also tried the pollo and Al pastor; they're good, but not in the same league as the carne asada! We ended up ordering more after out first order, all carne asada. The menu is it simple, but reasonably priced. Look forward to going back for more! read more

This place is very narrow and can probably only seat like ten to twelve people. We got our order to go and it was pretty good. Didn't blow me out of the water but I would definitely hit it up again. Only order the nachos if ur eating in. They were sup soggy by the time I got home. Staff was extremely friendly. Glad we have a new taco place by us that isn't a typical chain. Loved the tortillas! read more

This is our go-to taco place!! I'm not the type of person that likes tacos on a regular basis, but I would definitely eat these tacos at least once a week!! You have to get the queso taco with whatever meat you order. Absolutely love this place. read more

Delicious tacos. And Sonoran dog. The manager was very friendly & helpful. We'll definitely be back.

So good! We tried their carne Asada and Al pastor tacos 2 ways, traditional and queso. Both style were delicious. We did to-go and the food came out quickly. All of their salsas are bussin'. Service was good. We'll be back! read more

AMAZING tacos! Would've given 5 stars if they served us when arriving at 7:53pm, but employee said since the time is near 8:00pm when they close, they're actually closed (when standing by lit OPEN sign) Lol I'd never arrive 7 minutes before closing to a sit down restaurant, although most sit down restaurants would still serve, but it's a TAKE OUT taco place. Really bothered me, especially since I go there often. Not sure "Midnight Taco" is the best name for a restaurant that must start closing down at 7:30pm Lol read more

We have come to really enjoy Midnight Taco, although be sure to check the hours, only the original food truck is open that late. It's a pretty small place with a big shared table and a few smaller ones. They do a good job with the Al Pastor, one of our favorites. I prefer it on corn but my wife likes the flour tortillas. Everything comes with guacamole on it some be sure to check that if you don't like it. The Sonoran dog is well done with a super soft bun but sometimes a little chewy. It's messy and delicious. We tried the chips and salsa and are not a fan, salsa was like an enchilada sauce flavor but salsa texture. The nachos were nothing to write home about, classic school carnival food. We keep coming back for the tacos and dogs. read more

I LOOOOOOVE this place. I work right next door and crave bean and cheese tacos almost everyday. You're probably thinking "bean and cheese tacos" yes ma'am. Game changing. LIFE CHANGING tacos. I'm telling you... TRY THEM!!!! Carne asada and pastor are also delicious, personally not a fan of their pollo asada- but everything else is WONDERFUL, you can't go wrong with anything! Sonoran hotdog- delicious, elote cup- delicious, rice- bomb diggity, nachos con todo- soooo diggityyyyy. Rueben is a wonderful owner, the kitchen staff is always friendly, and the new girl working the register (I wish I knew her name!!!!) is so sweet every single time. Absolutely amazing restaurant, try them out if you haven't! read more

Excellent tacos!! First time here and celebrated my wife's birthday with tacos on taco Tuesday. These tacos are fresh and great street tacos! Carne Asada is flavorful and a lot better than many of the 'local' street taco restaurants. Place is small, but roomy for a small party. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and the service was very fast. We will be back and our son who is picky enjoyed the tacos! read more

The best carne asada tacos hands down. This place knows its stuff! If you want authentic street tacos, fresh jugos, and amazing service, this is your spot! They have a location in gilbert on Val Vista and warner *tucked back in the Target complex. OR if you are out in downtown gilbert for a night out, stop by for a quick bit to eat from there taco cart. The Carne asada tacos are amazing, the Queso taco is irresistible and their salsas are on point. You wont be disappointed. read more

Nachos were really good. Food is priced well considering how much you get. Did not eat in the restaurant but employees were nice. read more

Great food and service! We were looking for a taco spot and stumbled on Midnight Taco. Carne asada Taco and El Pastor were great. I had the home made hot sauce which had a good kick! The flour tortillas were great too...snuck a bite of my wife's bean and cheese burrito and for 5.99 it was huge and good! Nice little gem. read more

Yum. Got tacos delivered from here the other night and they were bomb. Saved some for the next day and they were still delicious, a tad soggier but still scrumptious. I'll definitely order from here again next time I'm craving real street tacos. Can't wait to try it in person! read more

I'm so glad I'm obsessed with Target and found this little gem in the same plaza!!! IT'S DELICIOUS!!!! Seems like it's family owned too so I encourage you to support before you think of going to a chain with street tacos! So authentic and lots of salsa flavors too!! We got carne asada tacos and pollo. Sooo fresh!! Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed!! read more

Great Tacos!!!! Top 3 in Gilbert top 5 in Arizona. They have the best tortillas in Arizona for sure. As for the carne asada, that's just ok, not "the best" like they advertise. A couple hard fatty pieces in each taco, but i'll just eat around that cause the tortillas were amazing!!! I'll definitely be eating here regularly read more

Midnight Taco - Carne asada tacos with everything on them - Street Vendors Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Super impressed with the tacos especially the queso carne asada taco. Staff was friendly. I love that's it's a little hole in the wall.

Came here because people recommend this place , I ordered 2 burritos (Al Pastor and Carne Asada) and 3 sides of beans. When I was done placing my order I was asked if I wanted salsa. nothing tastes like it's supposed too. The carne Asada burrito is literally a chili bean (chili beans from a can) burrito. It's not bad but that's not what I ordered. Once I received my order I was only given two tiny salsa's, in which the green one wasn't edible. Literally tasted like I was eating salt I'm not trying to bash this company but when you have a sign in front of your restaurant saying "Best Carne Asada" you should own up to it ! sadly we will not be returning here read more

The Carne Asada tacos were delicious. I especially liked the fresh Serrano Chile salsa. I will come back. read more

Love the food at Midnight Taco! It is a favorite go to in our house. We go to the one at Warner and ValVista. Food is great, staff are polite. Prices went up recently but still worth it. Not a lot of room to eat in and the table outside is either taken or dirty (spilled food). The inside is clean and comfortable. Eat and leave so others can sit please. Not the place to linger and have conversation. read more

This is our second time in to eat lunch here. The tacos are delicious a little bit pricey and the drinks being two dollars each is a little pricey but I guess you get to keep the bottle for whatever that's worth. read more

Picked up a burrito, taco & quesadilla all with carne asada. Excellent! The meat was tender and tasty. The red & green sauces were also really good. The red is sweet at first and then punches your tastebuds with some fire. Yum! The green sauce is milder, vinegary & so flavorful. read more

A great local value. BIG stuffed burritos. Great salsas. I wouldn't mind paying a few more bucks for better quality steak in the carne asada burrito. read more

Very good quality tacos. Tortilla is nice and thin, meat is very tender. Quantity is large, not a ton of topping options but other than that it's great. read more

We hired Juan and his Midnight Taco Stand for my son's 10th birthday party. Midnight Taco - 3 carne asada Tacos - Street Vendors Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Ok, to begin with, the food here is awesome, best street tacos in Gilbert actually. I'd actually rate them 5 stars if I was rating the food alone. In fact, I've told everyone I know, and sent them lots of new customers This brings me to the problem, the last 3 times we picked up food, they've left out at least one item we ordered. This has only been in the last few months. Before that, they never missed anything. Something changed here recently, and it needs to be addressed. There is really no excuse for this, and yes, from now on, I'll be checking my entire order before I leave the store. read more

Kinda disappointed in this place. Saw a lot of good reviews on Facebook so I wanted to give it a try. I order the carne asada tacos for me and a carne asada burrito for my husband. The food was cold. It was like they took everything out of the fridge and made the taco. The carne asada was cold and the tortillas were cold. I expect them both to be at least warm. I would not recommend this place. Tacos Tijuana on greenfield and baseline is much better. read more
