I showed up to pick up the truck that I had reserved to be told that "I have your reservation right here but there are no 12ft trucks available in a 50 mile radius." I was told that "the fleet manager is based out of Colorado and there's nothing he can do. I can call u haul for you." I had already tried uhaul and they didn't have what I needed. I now have to return to Delaware without mybelongings. I had 2 days to get a truck pack it up and leave. Now I have to make a 2nd trip for the same purpose. The problem is that this is ALL my furniture and personal belongings and I will not be able to take off of work again to do this until December. Budget has officially screwed me. How would you feel having to sleep on an air mattress for 6 months because you cant take your bed home because you have no moving truck?.

I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

I had originally reached out to a few different local moving companies and didn't even hear back from half of them or couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Atlanta Home Movers was so fast to provide a quote and also follow up. Other companies estimated 7-9 hours for my move but these guys hustled the entire time and finished in a fraction of that time. Despite my house having many stairs leading up to it and also inside, they never once complained and had such a positive, fun attitude for the entire day. My husband was traveling so it was just myself and my 10 month old baby - so a day that I was dreading actually turned out to be the smoothest, most stress-free experience ever!
