Torey Corcoran (Middleton Travel) twice indicated she was going to send specific information regarding a trip we are trying to plan to Great Britain, and twice she never sent anything or followed up. She pretends she did not recall speaking - even though call 1 was 8 minutes in duration and call 2 was 28 minutes long including many specifics about the destination and the dates of travel. Specific deliverable information on plane and hotel options was promised within a day or two. In the first case, nearly three weeks passed before I made another contact and was given a new promise. After the second promised information failed to materialized I left a message to remind her of what was discussed and ask if there was a problem with email address etc. This message was ignored. This wasted our time, probably increasing the cost of our trip because ticket prices generally rise. She is clearly unprofessional. If she is too busy to take on another account or anticipates delay that must be communicated up front. Stringing someone along is very bad form. She can't be trusted to deliver on promised actions or information. read more

Called to initiate plans to get a local rool for a colleague coming in jetlagged that needed to be 100%.we figured a day use room was perfect, as we have done in the past, but Middleton Travel's representative replied "You should do a google search of the airport you're interested in". So, according the the agency itself, just use Google. They aren't able or interested in providing expertise. read more

Experience was pretty good until we were charged for our trip. We asked several times throughout the appointment what the TOTAL cost would be. Come to find out when our card was charged he didn't include the cost of the flights which added a significant amount to the total cost of our trip. They assured us they told us the correct amount but there were three adults there and we all heard the same thing. Having an unexpected charge over $1,000.00 show up on your credit card put somewhat of a damper on the vacation overall. Because of this I will never use this company again, and recommend using caution should you choose to use them in the future. read more

If I could give this agency 0 stars I would. We met with Deb Brown and she was awful to deal with. My husband arrived a few minutes before me and Deb didn't even greet me when I arrived, but instead started attacking me before I even sat down. Her very first words to me "My first question to you is why would you book a flight before booking a resort?" She said it like I was an absolute idiot. I sat down and explained to her that I needed to know what dates we were flying in and out before we could book the resort. We had other reasons for booking our flight first, but what does it matter? We were there to get help booking a resort, excursions, and transportation to and from the airport. I felt like she was arguing with me as soon as I arrived. I also explained that we paid extra so our flight would be fully refundable, so I could still cancel and book through the travel agency. She insisted that we didn't get a good deal but couldn't find anything close to what we paid, especially considering that we found a nonstop flight there and back in the middle of the day on a Saturday with a major airline, like we had wanted. Then she started to attack me about the fact that we were flying out of St. Louis. She proceeded to tell me how ridiculous it was. I explained that it made a lot more sense to us to drive five hours to have a straight shot there and arrive mid-day, than to spend the entire day hopping from airport to airport and having to worry about connecting flights, not to mention that it cost substantially more to fly out of Chicago. So once again, I had to defend myself and my decision. Our entire experience with her was awful. She was so rude and impersonal and that was just in the few minutes we were there. We got out of there as quickly as possible. The way she treated us was absolutely unacceptable. I am so disappointed that I wasted 30 minutes driving there only to deal with her bs. Please save yourself the headache and avoid this travel agency or at least Deb Brown. The other woman my husband spoke with was friendly and kind, so maybe we just dealt with the one bad apple. I would definitely recommend avoiding her if you choose to work with this agency. read more

We are so excited to go on our trip to Mexico in 40 days. We stay at the Riu Palace Mexico in Playa and love it so much. Even though we knew where we wanted to go and when, we like to use agents. From the moment Leslie took our call until today when we picked up our packet she has been amazing!!!!
