If I could give less stars I would. I have been a loyal Customer for the past 13 years, I have…read morereferred so many friends and family to this place and I am sorry for all of that. The sale side is absolutely amazing, the service side is completely horrendous. I get a new car every 2-3 years, I ended up with a trail blazer which I loved, 45 days into it there was a leak, it destroyed some of my electrical. They fixed everything no problem told me they couldn't find the leak. Over the past two years I have had issues with water coming in, I have sent videos, spoke to techs. They didn't find anything. Fast forward to this past week, my car wouldn't start, I called got transferred 3x had to re-explain everything 3 times. By the time the third transfer I was annoyed, probably a little rude cause why can't you all communicate amongst each other instead of me repeating myself multiple times with each transfer. I towed the car in, they told me they were booked for weeks, I finally called today to which they told me my warranty will no longer cover this because it's weatherstripping on my sunroof is what they found the issue to be. Which if that was the case, the weatherstripping was the cause three years ago on a brand new vehicle and should've been replaced then.. it's 1600 bucks The part that really pisses me off when I went to pick up my car today, I did not let them do the work cause I'm not paying for it out-of-pocket. My service ticket has none of the issues that I had spoken about.. it said customer says battery is dead.. (no , I never said that, I was very clear and concise) I did tell them I disconnected the battery to try and reset the computer system, and I dropped the nut to the battery which did need to be replaced and I would pay for. Today's call said oh we found part of the problem, the nut was missing off the battery/. NO, I literally told 2 techs and one supervisor about the nut on the battery. Last year, my father, who has also been a loyal customer with them who was told to bring his car in for service and it would only take a couple hours, and it ended up taking a week because guess what they never even looked at it until he actually called pissed off asking for his car back. Avoid getting any work done on your car from this place at all cost.

I parted ways with them and was introduced to an Auto dealer Through Facebook Market place, who was just one of many places who carried Automotive Edge in the cars and trucks they sold. I called Automotive Edge and was introduced to a man named Jon Marshall. After talking with Jon, And inspecting the awesome Truck we had been looking at, no hard sale, no intrusive approach, My wife and I asked If we could take a test drive, Jon Copied our licenses, and we were on the road! When we came back, we went into thee office and said "WE'RE SOLD" THE TRUCK IS A BEAUTY, it only has 65,400 miles on it, No rust AT ALL!!!, I saw the truck of my dreams, and it was $19,500. I felt that truck is worth every penny they were asking. The truck is so solid, I felt no need to barter with Jon, and most important no pressure The salesman walked me into thee office and went over very detail, I bought a 2 year extended warranty which I had purchased through Edge, and I even came out of the deal under my budget of $23,600 and I WAS HAPPY, AND MY WIFE IS HAPPY. I never left a dealership after purchasing a truck wanting to buy another. If I were to get another Truck, Which Our son may well be considering, it will NO Doubt, be through Automotive Edge. 5 Stars Thank you Jon!!!!!

Also, we called multiple shops and this one was the most reasonable in cost estimates. Out of all the shops we called, John was the most helpful and sincere over the phone. Most importantly, John listened very carefully to our questions, concerns, and ideas. We told John that our car smelled like gasoline and that we needed to find and fix the possible leak. Unlike other shops, John expressed concerned about gasoline-related hazards and our safety. Also, Carlos was nice to us and helped us set an appointment. So after setting an appointment, we brought our car in the morning and met John. John treated us like family from the start. He was very friendly and honest. Right away, he looked under the hood and explained to us what the problem was. He was patient with us and described fully what our issue was and what are options were. We needed to replace the Fuel Regulator. John tried to make it cost-effective for us and gave us a reasonable price. Although they had to order the part from Bridgeport, John got it quickly and worked on our car promptly. Our car issue was resolved and we are extremely happy! For future issues, we now know where to go. We strongly recommend Mike's Auto Clinic.

But failing to give explanations, return my calls, or lock my car overnight (I walked there when I had heard nothing all day and discovered the shop closed and my car unlocked in their parking lot) and then to ask me for cash, is all to add insult to injury. Finally, after having my car towed there for the second time, as arranged the day before, but hearing nothing 24 hours later, I called and was told simply and directly that my car's repair was "not a priority" for them. I understand that this shop has been beloved in Hamden for many years, but unfortunately something or somebody there must have changed. I would never have been disrespected like this at home in Ohio and I am starting to regret moving here.

I had seriously worn tires and was shopping around because just 50,000 miles ago I spent $1,000+ to buy OEM tires (Bridgestone Dueler) for our SUV. Costco kept me waiting a week and a half. When I went there this morning - with an appointment - they explained they were having trouble getting enough tires (they're having a Bridgestone sale). I was fed up. Now, all I knew about Ceglarz's was that they were relatively small, family-owned, and had won "Best Of" in the local paper for years running. I wasn't looking for a bargain - I was looking for tires. I felt self-conscious. The guy's a master mechanic, not "Town Fair Tires." Peter's personality is very calming. I knew I was in the right place. He persuaded me to get tires that're *better* than OEM - at the same price. He laid out the bottom line - $808 - sixty dollars more than Costco. He received the tires in 20 minutes. I drove over when he called. "I eat lunch from 12:00 to 1:00." Me: "Then I'll come over at 1:00." "No, no, bring it over right now." I got there at 11:05. The car was ready when I came back from a walk to the store - at 11:50! I asked about an oil change. $60 plus tax for top-quality synthetic, made for the car. He'd already written down the mileage on the car, *and* he checked the dealer's windshield sticker and knew I had 1,000 miles to go before I'd need one. I'm thrilled that I've found a mechanic I can trust.
