My son is medically complex and the staff have been so accommodating of the little bit of extra attention he has needed. The staff is incredible...no turnover in the entire time we have been there! They are kind, caring, and consistent with the children. They have been very supportive as we have dealt with illnesses and I know that they always have my children's best interest in mind. This Y has the…read morebest hot tub in the state, the therapy pool is a joyful experience, the men's locker room always Immaculate. The exercise equipment and facilities are perfect. I think this is fine example of what a Y should be and I would encourages CEO'S and directors of other Ys to come take a peek and bring back ideas and ways to do things for the betterment of their Ys to improve customer satisfaction.

One of the wonderful things since the former BNAS was decommissioned by the Navy is that much of the infrastructure is now available to the residents of Brunswick, where I now live. This includes places like this. While not fancy or particularly high-tech as fitness facilities go, there is a gym for basketball, a small fitness room with treadmills, free weights, and other cardio equipment. There are also a host of classes ranging from yoga, pilates, barre classes, etc. I've done some of their beginner's yoga classes and they're great! What I like about the Landing as the days get colder and I'm not going to get out on my bike or run outside, is that I can drop by (it's 3 miles from my house) and find a treadmill available in the morning or early afternoon. After spending the morning looking at a computer screen, I'm due for a dose of endorphins. Oh, and the staff here are just amazingly friendly and welcoming. After a recent experience with another fitness facility on the other side of town that made me feel like I was imposing on their little clique of insiders, this is refreshing and how I want to have my doses of fitness administered--with a smile and a friendly greeting. Is that so hard to do?

I get them out of the car in the morning and they literally run to the door with excitement for the day. They love their teachers and come home daily excited to tell me about all the fun they have had. They get to take classes right at the center such as swim, dance and karate. They love doing it and I don't have to drive all over town to get them there. The center always has fun special events for the kids around holidays and such and they do a monthly "community event" so that the parents can meet and get to know the teachers, children and other parents. We have had an incredible experience here and we won't bring our children anywhere else!
