Wow, this is a place to be avoided! I looked up oil changes and they had $29.99 special so I called and made an appointment. When I came in they said it would take 4 hours (at least) and the Camry I was driving requires synthetic oil (it doesn't) which is $80. Such bait and switch! [EDIT NOTES: 1. manual calls for "multi grade engine oil" then specifies viscosity. Confirmed with Mossy Toyota this spec refers to standard motor oil. Synthetic May be used as well (or a blend), 2. what business can set up an appointment then inform you when you arrive at the agreed time that their only guarantee is to finish before the end of the day. 3. Come back for a sort of deal? Like I would ever let you lay hands on our cars?? I think not and suggest the same! Stay VERY clear of this one! read more

I just spend over a grand at Midas to replace my CV Shaft and got my oil changed last week, and now my car is veering to the right where they fixed the CV shaft. I asked them to realign it as they messed it up when fixing my CV Shaft and now are refusing to fix this without charging me another $175. Terrible customer service. Who in their right mind would expect them not to realign the car or make sure it is driving straight after doing a repair like replacing a CV Shaft? read more

Trusted them, and I had them replaced ($380ish), then the next day I started hearing squeaking. Brought it back in a week later when I had time, and was told the noise was coming from the front. When we showed up for the appointment, we were told there was a 3 hour minimum wait...We thought they heard us wrong and told them we scheduled an appointment. Nope. 3+ hours. And this isn't the first time this has happened. But will be the last. We took off, drove up the street to Valvoline and was in/out of there in 20 minutes. Why have appointments if you can't accommodate them? And, if you KNOW you have a 3 hour wait, how about emailing/calling people who have appointments to let us know? I have owned a 2012 Mustang GT convertible for almost eleven years. Since moving to San Diego six years ago I have had a rattle and a banging from the rear of the car. After six years of service at Mossy Ford the best I could get was their wanting me to leave my car with them for five days so they could figure it out The team at Midas figured it out in about two minutes, the rear stabilizer bar. Brought the Murano in for an oil and filter change unannounced and without an appointment Saturday the 10th of September around 11am. Was assisted by Brent, who warned they were short-handed, but that they would try to get it done before the end of the day, otherwise they'd need to keep it until Monday, presumably because they are closed Sunday. I said "OK" because I've worked with these guys before, and have come to depend on them for good service. Left the key and went home. Got a call around 3pm, saying the car was done. I only came here because my brother said he trusted Midas overall... so I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. Got my brake pads replaced here. Went there for a smog. MY car failed and they handed to me paper work with weird numbers and highlighted things saying that I need thousands of $$$$ repairs! Next day went to a place in La Mesa and guys who did a smog there got completely different numbers on the paper. Explained to me what might be wrong with the car. All I had to do is get a new PCV Valve for 3.75 dollars and I had a lose hose that needed to be adjusted. And after fixing that the car passed the smog This place just need your money!!!!!!!!!! I also had a tire rotate and balance as well as a wheel alignment. They gave me a detailed report on not only those items, but on parts like my cabin air filter and struts.
