I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Daisy at Kearny Mesa Toyota!…read more I wasn't planning on getting a new vehicle, but somehow Daisy worked her magic and I drove away in a beautiful gray Camry hybrid that I absolutely LOVE! Daisy was so helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured, and she really listened to what I was looking for. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and actually FUN. And let's just say...I'm already looking forward to filling up the gas tank and seeing that much better gas mileage! If you're shopping for a Toyota, ask for Daisy. I couldn't recommend her more! Thank you again, Daisy!

I had a very disappointing experience with Brian Buckner at Toyota Service. His demeanor was…read moreunprofessional and rude, and his approach to customer service was unacceptable. Customers should be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, especially when bringing their vehicles in for service. Unfortunately, my interaction with Brian fell well below those expectations. Good customer service requires effective communication, patience, and a willingness to address customer concerns respectfully. Based on my experience, those qualities were lacking. Toyota should take customer service seriously and ensure that its service department representatives understand the importance of treating customers professionally. This experience left a negative impression, and I hope management addresses these concerns so other customers do not have a similar experience

I am extremely pleased and I am a customer for life. thank you so much ALISHA and Kearny, Mesa Ford.

My son and I recently visited Kearny Mesa Ford because he was ready to purchase an F-150 Lariat we…read morefound advertised online. The truck was priced better than any comparable truck in San Diego, and we literally left Mossy Ford to go buy it. When we arrived, we expected the advertised special to be ready for us to see. Instead, it was buried in the back of the lot. Our salesperson, Josh, was first-class throughout the entire process. He was professional, helpful, and genuinely wanted to earn our business. After the test drive, we went inside to write up what should have been a slam-dunk deal. Josh's manager, Mike, was leaving, so the deal was handed over to another sales manager, whose name I believe was Stephen. That is where everything fell apart. Josh returned with numbers that were approximately $20,000 higher than the advertised online price. The proposal appeared to include every possible add-on and inflated charge they could fit into the deal. It felt like the sales manager was attempting to take advantage of my son because he is a younger buyer. That approach might work on an inexperienced customer, but I have been in sales for 35 years. I asked to speak with the manager and questioned whether he was new or even familiar with the dealership's advertised pricing. He then asked me what the online price was. It is his responsibility to know the dealership's advertised specials before presenting a customer with numbers that are $20,000 higher. I genuinely feel bad for Josh because he did everything right and lost what should have been an easy sale because of the way his management handled the deal. We left Kearny Mesa Ford, returned to Mossy Ford, and purchased a truck from them instead. I had purchased a vehicle from Kearny Mesa Ford a couple of years ago, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Mossy Ford earned our business and will be our dealership going forward.

I was told the car was "like brand new" and that everything looked good. Fast-forward about two months later, something did not feel right with the vehicle, so I brought it back in. This second experience was very different. I later learned that some of the recommended items for the 15,000-mile service were not completed. When I questioned this, I was told that if something does not need to be addressed, they do not perform it. My concern is that I paid for the full 15,000-mile service and expected it to be completed according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Had those items been properly addressed the first time, I may not have needed to return so soon and pay again to have issues corrected. It left me feeling cheated and disappointed. To make matters worse, during my most recent visit I was told my car would be ready in about an hour and a half and that I would receive a call once the work was completed. After waiting more than four hours without any update, I finally had to call myself, only to find out that nothing had been done to my vehicle aside from the brake fluid flush... a service I had already paid for just two months ago and expected to have been completed properly at that time. Finding out now that it apparently was not done correctly is seriously unacceptable. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and overall handling of the situation was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have owned two other Infiniti vehicles in the past and always had smooth experiences at their previous location. Unfortunately, since moving to the new location, the level of service and trust has noticeably declined. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. Please think twice before bringing your vehicle here. I really hope Infiniti CORPORATE LOOKS INTO THIS. If I could give this location zero stars, I absolutely would.

Had a very good experience with Chris Tijerina and Nicolas Munoz at BMW of San Diego…read more Chris was the one who got me in to look at the M240i and set up the appointment. He was tied up with another customer when I arrived, so Nicolas stepped in and handled the test drive and most of the time I spent with the car. Both were easy to work with, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. Nicolas did a great job walking me through the car and answering questions without over-selling it, and Chris helped get the ordering process moving afterward. I ultimately decided to go in a different direction before the car went into production, but BMW of San Diego handled the cancellation and deposit refund without any issues. The experience left a strong impression. I expect to be back in the market for a BMW in the future, and based on how this went, I'd be comfortable coming back to BMW of San Diego and working with Chris and Nicolas again.

Omar Nasery is the "Limp Mode" of BMW San Diego Rating: 1…read moreStar (zero if the rating scale allowed it) Service Advisor / Manager: Omar Nasery In BMW engineering, "limp mode" (or Reduced Power mode) is triggered when critical components fail, forcing the vehicle to operate on bare minimum power while severely underperforming to prevent further destruction. After nearly 16 years of brand loyalty to BMW of San Diego, it is clear that Service Manager Omar Nasery is the living, breathing "limp mode" of this dealership, operating at absolute minimum capacity, severely underperforming, and actively ruining the customer experience.  Omar behaves like a predatory salesperson. What makes Omar uniquely insufferable is his extreme emotional instability. He is the only service manager I have ever encountered who becomes visibly emotionally dysregulated the moment he is confronted by customers who actually understand and can challenge him on BMW engineering. When presented with technical facts that dismantle his narratives, he freezes, reacts with defensive hostility, and gets trapped in an unshakeable misinterpretation of the situation. He completely lacks the emotional intelligence needed to listen to customers and respond rationally rather than react emotionally. He truly is a caricature of bad service managers.  Omar runs a disingenuous diagnostic bait-and-switch scheme:  The Bait ($285 Fee): You pay an initial $285 "diagnostic fee" to isolate a specific performance issue, in my case, Code 30FF (low boost pressure triggering limp mode) on my X5 Twin Turbo.  The Trap (Parts Cannoning & Endless Fees): Omar refuses to provide a definitive answer. Instead, you pay for incomplete diagnostic testing while he resorts to speculative "parts cannoning", pedal to the floor, racing toward a long, drawn-out repair process with incremental part replacements, hoping to generate far more revenue than getting it right on the first diagnosis. After I authorized $1,755 in repairs to replace a failing vacuum pump, the limp mode issue persisted. To find the actual critical factor, Omar demanded another $570 diagnostic fee.  The Shakedown ($3,737 Estimate With NO Guarantee): Following the failed repair, Omar presented a $3,737.14 estimate for additional "critical" repairs without providing diagnostic proof or video evidence that those parts had failed. When I bluntly asked him if spending $3,700 more would fix the problem and take my car out of limp mode, he nonchalantly admitted in writing that he could not guarantee it. Why push thousands of dollars in "critical repairs" if they don't fix the car? It is pure financial guesswork at the customer's expense.  Refusal of Basic Diagnostic Protocols: When independent BMW specialists reviewed my case and recommended simple, non-invasive orthogonal testing (such as applying manual vacuum directly to the wastegate actuator lines), Omar flatly refused. He insisted on an expensive $570 engine teardown instead of basic diagnostic checks.  Falsifying Records: To add insult to injury, on the final paperwork, he logged that I "declined service", blatantly falsifying service records to cover up the fact that I declined because HE explicitly admitted in writing that he could not guarantee the $3,700 repair would work.  When I called him out, refused to be taken for a ride, and asked to escalate, his behavior turned into active hostility:  Hiding Leadership: When I repeatedly requested the direct contact information for his Service Director/GM and BMW of North America Corporate, he completely ignored the request to block escalation.  Active Vehicle Neglect: When I asked him to keep my X5's 12V battery on a standard shop tender while it sat on their lot for over a week, he flat out refused. He stated in writing that battery maintenance is "not a service we provide" and "outside the scope of work" (see photo). Leaving a modern BMW's sensitive electronics to drain for a week is active neglect, proving his unyielding approach actively harms customer vehicles.  Stakeholders would be wise to consider providing an off-ramp for Omar. He needs to be pulled from the Service Manager role immediately, and re-trained not only on BMW engines, but also on how to regulate his emotions so he can communicate professionally.

After 10 days having my car in the dealership, I was told that the oil change fixed the problem. Within approximately 3 miles of leaving the dealership, the car stalled again. I brought the car back and asked for the stalling problem to be properly identified. They told me if I changed the catalytic converter ($3,099) it would fix the problem. Why then they said the problem was low oil? I said that couldn't possibly be the reason the car was stalling and wanted it re-tested. I was told an additional $950 for more diagnostic testing would be required. I then took the car to Woolf's, an independent repair shop one mile from the dealership. They diagnosed and repaired the actual stalling problem on the same day for $256.20. They found an intermittent loss of signal from the crankshaft position sensor and replaced the sensor. It has now been two weeks since that repair, and the car has not stalled once. They also told me that the catalytic-converter issue was separate and was not what was causing the car to stall. I emailed General Manager Benu Grewal, Parts and Service Director Brian Buckley, and Customer Relations Manager George Abdelsayed about my experience and requested a refund of the $198 diagnostic fee. None responded to me. For me, the customer service here has been zero. Go somewhere else. Better mechanics within a mile of this dealership.
