I called yesterday asking if they could give me a quote on a new evap core because of another shop telling me I needed one (without even inspecting it yet). The man on the phone was incredibly helpful and personable. He told me that they could get my car in for a free inspection later that day or early in the morning. I picked my car up from the other shop and dropped it off with Midas. Just got the call back and you'll never guess! Instead of a 1.4k fix I'm looking at a 50 buck drain clearance. Had 4 tires installed last month. Hadnt cleaned the truck between weather and working off dirt roads until today. Just discovered these "professionals" destroyed all 4 of my rims with the tire machine! Gouged all the way around on 2 of them, plastic residue ground into the others, hard enough to remove the powder coat! Do not use these people if you like your truck to look good! read more

Called in to check whether there was a long wait or if I could just drop in over the weekend instead. The gentleman on the phone was very professional and answered all my questions thoroughly. I arrived about an hour prior to closing and the gentlemen inside were outstanding! Very friendly and courteous. They took my information and vehicle right away. They encountered no issues and did not try to upsell me additional services or products just because. They joked around, yet expertly nswered more of my questions and provided useful information. I usually try to get a deal on oil changes when I can. It can get fairly expensive but you also have to balance a good deal with good service too. This location actually does both and does it very well. The staff is friendly and don't push services in order to pump up the bill. We brought our 2008 Enclave with 115,000 miles for an oil change and to my surprise they said everything looked good and it might need a new cabin filter soon. I was expecting a long list of "recommended" services it that wasn't the case at all. I ended up bringing my 2010 GMC Terrain for an oil change also. It requires a special type of Dexos oil which they had in stock and again ... Small markup for it by way cheaper than the dealer. I totally trust these guys and I would recommend speaking to Paul if you have any questions. Oh, one more thing. Free wifi and Keurig coffee! read more

These guys are great!! I've worked with them on and off for the last several years. I brought my car in about 5 years ago because I somehow let the oil run dry and the car was making terrible ticking noises. They were hesitant at first and did not want to touch it, but added several quarts of synthetic oil and told me to drive around on it for a week. They didn't charge me a dime. So I brought it back in a week later and they did the oil change and the car has been running fine. Went in for an oil change a little while back and they were a little backed up so we took a walk to a neighboring store and when we came back had a little more of a wait. Paul surprised the waiting customers with lunch!! What business does that?!? It was a welcome surprise. Just this week, the breaks seized up while my daughter's boyfriend was driving the car! Had it towed to Rob and Paul in Raynham. They had a full schedule, but squeezed me in and fixed it up that day! Their customer service is amazing. They're a little more costly, but to me, it's all about the customer service and feeling comfortable with a business. All the employees are knowledgeable, professional, and really care about their customers!! Keep up the great work guys! read more

I was overcharged so check your paperwork closely. I had a lifetime warranty on front brake pads and they charged me 67.99 anyway and refuse to refund the amount they overcharged me. They also falsely claimed that I needed rear calipers, which was not true. They overcharge and mislead while looking you in the face and claiming to save you money. I can only get a credit for the 67.99 and I cannot put my car back in their hands. I will give the 67.99 credit to anyone crazy enough to leave their vehicle in Midas' hands... seriously. After being told by the dealership that I would need to replace my entire exhaust system for $2900 (and crying) I called Route 44 Midas in Raynham for a second opinion. They wouldn't quote me over the phone but told me they could make time to examine my car in an hour. I arrived 45 minutes later and they took my car right away. The man at the front desk was warm and accommodating. My car was looked at immediately. After about 30-45 minutes the mechanic looking at my car on the lift invited me into the shop and showed me in great detail exactly what needed repair. I felt very included in the process and they told me I "deserve to see what I'm paying for" which made me feel respected. The mechanic assured me he could work on my vehicle immediately and have it set to go the next morning -- for 1/6 of the cost! I was quoted $450 at Midas, compared to $2900 at the dealership! The man at the front desk took the time to review all the charges with me and when I saw the total I was so relieved I started to tear up! The gentlemen who helped me were so kind and respectful, I felt very taken care of and I can not say enough about my positive experience at Midas on Route 44 Raynham! Exceptional, personalized, prompt customer service. My car was ready the next morning, as promised. I have been here more than 5 times for various issues and needs (inspection, tire rotation, tire puncture, etc) and the staff have been great every single time. From what I can tell, they are an honest team who would rather point you to another shop when they don't have the right equipment, than ruining your property for a few bucks. I moved to New England in 2005 and didn't really know the area. I was looking for a trustworthy shop to take our cars to, for basic service and routine maintenance. I definitely found that and more! I also want my maintenance schedule (booklets) stamped and filled out on every visit, with the services performed in detail. What I don't want to deal with is shop managers/techs that try to upsell useless or unecessary services, or servcies before they are actually due We currently take our 2006 Accord, 2003 Tarus (in additions my company vehicles at times), and soon to be 2012 Pilot to Paul at Midas. Paul has never sold me anything I didn't need, and has been honest when informing me of any services that urgently need attention. We are always treated fairly and with respect At Midas (working with Paul), I never feel like I get second rate service, if I need to push off a recommended service, or feel it's something I can complete on my own. Also Pauls is very helpful in assisting me wih the record-keeping (as mentioned above), and the price is always fair. Outstanding service, friendly atmosphere and I don't trust anyone else with my car! Keep in mind, this shop is not a "I need it done and need it done now shop!" Paul works off of appointments mostly. This is not to say he can't squeeze you in if it's slow, but don't expect to get service that day, when you randomly pop in. I can only attribute this to Paul, and his staffs great service and he has many repeat customers. So that being the case, he needs to schedule some services.. He even does at great job at that, it's always ready when we get there! I was pleased with service, friendly employees and informative but not too pleased when I reviewed my bill after leaving. Had an oil change and free tire rotation special. Sort of misleading. They charge you $10 for a quart of oil over 5 quarts (seriously), have never paid any additional oil purchases in the 4 years I have had my vehicle and most shocking of all is that they charge you $13 for labor! I recently went to this Midas shop with my sister who was having a problem with her car. We were greeted by Paul who works there. He was very accommodating, and very knowledgeable as to what was wrong with it. He proceeded to fix the problem and explained what was wrong and what he fixed. He didn't try to add on anything more, as most mechanics these days will do. He was honest and caring, and took really good care of us. After seeing how good this man is, I will most definitely bring my business to him, no matter what the problem is, or just for an oil change, or tires. It's so nice to know there are still honest people in this world who actually care, and know their trade. I'm due for an oil change, and I plan on seeing Paul for this. Bruce and the whole team at Midas Raynham always go above and beyond to get my car fixed and maintained for the lowest possible price! When my brand muffler was too expensive they called around and got me a cheaper one, and when I had a family crisis and couldn't pick my car up right away they pulled it back inside the garage every night to keep it safe. This place can be a little expensive but the people that work there are great, especially Paul and Keith, if you have to have work done on your car, Keith is the man to do it, very professional, he knows what he is doing and does great work, Paul is the manager, really down to earth and just a good person all around, he will help you out as much as possible and will never try to sell you a service or repair that doesn't need to be done, like most greedy mechanics do, the only problem with the shop is the new assistant manager they brought in, I would imagine corporate is under the impression he will improve sales in the long term, which might be the case for the first year or so, but he is very impersonal and leaves you with the feeling he doesn't care so much about helping you, more than trying to sell you as much as possible, maybe even things you might not really need, the problem with that is you inevitability end up pushing your customers away, people go there for the personal connection and bond they have built with Paul and Keith over the years and this new assistant manager kills that trust, it only hurts the business in the long run, if the shop isn't profiting as much as it once did, it has nothing to do with the performance or actions of the long time employees and everything to do with the economy, people try to save money and do their own repairs and oil changes these days if possible. I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs a repair they can't handle, they will take care of you and the job will be done right the first time. just make sure you ask for Paul!!!!! I brought my car in for a oil change and tier rotation and pay for both to be done. I did marked my two front tires just to make sure that it was done. When the car was done and brought out the 2 marked tires were still where they were when car came in. I brought this up with the manager he did not seem surprise or really care what the worker had done, or not done and call he out. The worker said he rotated them a certain way and I told him I marked the tires and it had not been done at all. Even after the worker lied in front both of us, the manger did seem to care at all, no apology from any of them, and told him to do it. read more
