By chance, I found this Midas location because I couldn't get the service that I needed at the nearby Tires Plus. I was looking to plug/patch a Tesla tire. Chris, the manager, was very welcoming and easy to talk to. He advised as to why some other tire shops aren't willing to repair a Tesla tire and it's because these tires need a little more work to repair than regular tires. Chris welcomed me to wait in the lounge where I could find a TV with Netflix and 15 types of free coffee from a vending machine that says "FREE VEND" on it. The wait time was only 30-40 minutes and my car was ready to go with the one tire repaired and all four wheels fully pumped with air. I must say that I did not expect to find such great service. After having left , the car continued to overheat (a miniscule amount) and MY NAIVE SELF attributed it to the heat. Fast forward to about a week later it heated to the point that I was no longer able to drive it. My usual home mechanic was able to come take a look and was SHOCKED when he told me they actually never replaced the thermostat like they had claimed. Only thing they did was put on a cap somewhere And add coolant. I was charged a bit over $350 and we found the old cap thrown in there somewhere as well. I feel absolutely disappointed and scammed. I never called them to claim this as I felt it was too late and nothing could be done by then, so I took the L. It's been months since at this point I just kept forgetting to update the review. If you don't know anything about mechanic work, if you're not going to stay to watch over them to do what they actually charge you to do , you will be scammed. I left the vehicle for the day, and by the afternoon was told it was fixed so I picked it up - By Friday, they were whistling again. Unfortunately I cannot take more time off of work for this. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I went there to have some exhaust pipes welded onto my truck. I brought the exhausts myself, so it was just labor. From the moment I arrived, I told them that I worked at a dealership and asked them to be upfront about the price and not give me any nonsense. Then, they charged me $97 for an "inspection"--even though there was nothing to inspect because all I wanted was to install and weld the exhausts. Later, they called me and told me the total would be around $700 or $800. Bro, are you seriously trying to charge me $800 for two weld points? I felt like they were laughing in my face with such an absurd price, so I had to tell them, "Okay, brother, these are the easiest $97 you've ever made. Lower my truck; I'm leaving." After that, I went to another shop, and they did the job for $100--the same amount I basically gave away to them for an "inspection." The last place I would ever go to is Midas. Don't go there. Change my 4-tires in December, few dats after Christmas. When car was ready my husband had to go back after realizing the PSI in two tires were not showing in the car display, was told by Midas to drive vehicle for 20 minutes and 57th will solve the issues. My husband drove car for over 39 minutes and nothing, went back to Midas again, the took vehicle back in then told my husband to come back tomorrow for another tech to check it. At this point, I did not trust them at all, gave them three chances and truly believe they took advantage of my husband who has Parkinson's condition. Then, took my vehicle to the dealer the next day, found out Midas messed up two tires sensors plus the car trembles at high velocity after pressing the brakes, the alignment were never done properly either. Truly totally the worst nightmare, expended over $1800 at Midas for four new Michelin's tires, then another $1000 to put two new sensors at the dealer. Also, forgot to mentioned that call Midas Consumer Relations, explained in details my issue, someone was supposed to get back to me and up to today I'm still waiting for that call, truly ashamed and unacceptable. I'm sharing my experience with you all so it does not happens to anyone. I should have gone to the dealer in the first place, at the end lost lots of money which will be less if had taken to the dealer instead of that terrible business. Midas' service, quality and value are the worst experience in my whole life. Please read this review and think it twice grunt to Midas. Recently purchased a Groupon for an oil change and out of a handful of locations of course, I chose the location closest to my home. I've been to several Midas in the past and I must say, by far this Midas has the friendliest staff. When I called to make my appointment I spoke to the manager, Carlos who kindly assisted me accordingly. Day of appointment I was greeted nicely and immediately assisted. This location has a clean and efficient waiting area. Free coffee is offered in the waiting area, which is organic as well as fair trade. The machine has different options of coffee. Also, they have a vending machine and a flat screen tv where you can pick your own channel if you are not content with what's playing at the moment. I am glad I came to this Midas location and will be coming back in the future. read more

I'd bought a groupon offline for an oil change and because I work in this area I decided to come to this location. As I have been here before as well as my mom. So I buy this groupon offline for an oil change at about $20. I go on a Friday morning to get this service done. I present my coupon to the young lady at the desk and she begins taking my car's information and inputting it in the system. She proceeds to tell me that I brought the wrong groupon because I needed the one for synthetic oil. So playing along with her suggestion, I inquire what would be the difference. She proceeds to tell me that it's about a $30 difference as the regular oil change is about $70 but with the groupon, I'd just need to pay the difference. She then told me to refund the groupon because it would be better to just get their special. Now I normally get my oil changed right at the dealer (Nissan) but just wanted to give this groupon a try. Needless to say I returned my groupon for a refund and went to the Nissan dealership that I normally go to, literally not even 5 minutes away and got an oil change; a non synthetic oil change at that. I am not sure if it's because I am a woman and she thought she could swindle me out of my money; as some men mechanics do because they feel you don't know anything. Luckily for me, my mom knows about cars and taught me everything that I needed to know once I started driving. Midas will never have to worry about me coming back. I've been coming to Midas for years to get my oil change, among other routine services. They have increased their prices dramatically over the years. I recently went in and paid over $100 for only an oil change, even though their website says that they charge up to $85 for an oil change (with tax, that should come out to $90.95. Also, despite displaying the Midas air freshener in my car for the discount promised on the freshener, I did not get my discount. They wanted to change my cabin air filter and wiper blades, among other things, and ultimately I declined those services because I can easily do that myself for much cheaper. After I told them I didn't want this service, they shoved the cabin air filter back into my car and bent it. When I went to go change it myself about a week later, I found it in a horribly bent position. They didn't have the courtesy to properly put it back. I don't even want to return to this location after I see how they treat your vehicle when you decline standard services. I do just want to add that the staff is very nice and friendly and they provide a great waiting area with coffee, tv, and Netflix. read more

I give two starts because ln my search for a specific tire.. well they had it. Very expensive and you hace to pay attention to the job they will perform on your car. My tire installation came with alignment and and i knew they were not going to do it have i not pay attention to what they were doing. Mechanic brought the car out and I asked if he did the alignment and he responded as surprised "was it needed " . Yesterday morning I took my car to this location to have a transmission service. Both Jonathan and Chris assured me that they would give me a great deal. I stupidly trusted them and paid close to $650.00 for the service. When I went to pick up my car, I asked Jonathan how much this service would have cost me at a Ford dealership, he said $1000.00 and he used to work for a Ford dealer. Today, I called my ford dealer just to verify, I know I should have done this before, but I trusted these guys, and was told that they charge 350.00 for the same service. I called Jonathan this morning and complained..... He said that they would make it right for me, but that he needs to talk to Chris and get back to me... Never heard back but lesson learned... they will never see me again. If the service ends up being badly done, I will not hesitate to sue them also. read more

Jason was great, he took my car for an oil change as soon as I got there. I dropped my car around 10am and he told me it would take approximately 2 hours. I called before picking up my car and they told me they were almost done (this was by 3pm). When I get there, he told me 20 more minutes but at the end was like and extra hour and a half. We took in a new car in for my mom since I've had such good experience with them and it's been nothing but a terrible experience. Sad to find out Mitch left this location. Chris gave us a "total" that didn't even end up being the actual total and then gave us another sheet with +$600 the original amount. The whole thing has been crappy, my mom has been here since 10am and given that it will be 3pm and the car still hasn't been finished, for something they said wouldn't be that long and should've been more than ready by 1:30pm. We stayed as a last resort to get the issue solved and done with, but sad to say I won't be back here again. Chris has changed and is now another typical money hungry, business focused employee which him and Mitch were the only reason we've come here. Important to mention too, you could easily see the guys working on the car wasting time, literally. It gets uncomfortable having to ask often how much longer and not getting an answer after 2 hours the estimated time. Don't recommend this place, it has become just like the rest. A waste of time and money and losing our relationship when we bring more than a handful of cars here for everything. read more

I went there because I had a coupon that I got at Winn Dixie. It was for my cars oil change and the coupon had some extra goodies that they checked. They guy told me that they had to change my air filter & the motor filter....I dont know what that is but it sounded important so I just said yes. $130 later thank God the mechanic has kinda hitting on me (in a supper gross way) and he lowered $20! My boyfriend still said it was SUPER expensive. But I know nothing about cars so...well my air & motor filter are brand new!!!! LOL!!! After taking my working perfect conditions Chevy Van to this place to request a simple oil change, they told me i must perform a Transmission Flush, because of millage.... Again, Van was in perfect conditions, im the only driver, low miles no check engine light! After the did that 2 weeks go by and my transmission started to acting up, engine light went up! Took it back to Midas a d they want to charge 100.00 per hour diagnostics because they saying wasn't related to what they did 2 weeks ago! So i got upset and too to a chevy dealer, end of the story, my transmission is damaged and needs replace, 4k to repair! So Midas didn't care and didn't take responsibility for whatever they did to my van that caused the damage.... Be aware of this people! read more

I came in to this Midas for a Valve Cover Gasket replacement on my BMW 325i . This was about a week ago. My complain is based on the fact that the Mechanic left the Hose that connects to my 2nd Air Pump Vacuum. I had issues with the car until I realize this was unplugged. This can have resulted in a damaged transmission and engine. I don't think I'll be going back there. The same day a lady had an issue with her oil knob wish resulted in oil spilled all over from the bottom of her car. This happened right before my car was finished. People please be careful. This could have cost me in the thousands. read more

Beware of up selling on items your car doesn't need they indicated I needed a brake flush and showed me a dirty strip that supposedly came from my car ... then needed balance and tire alignment and fuel injection .... I took my car to the German auto body shop I have a VW Jetta and they showed me I needed nothing of any of that extra crap ... bad customer service trying to steal people's money.
