Stopped by for a oil change on my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid today 3/2/20 at 5:30pm. I told manager that I wanted to use mineral oil for my as I have done all along. He said ok, but after my car was in the bay, he tried to do a Bait and Switch and telling me the bullshit story that he had rules and was synthetic oil or nothing. This oil can cost 3x more than mineral and has no proven properties that make it better! I have worked for automotive co in Detroit for 30+ years and do not appreciate this crap! This is poor business practice and bad customer care! Needless to say I will never return and will make sure no one I know will service their car here! I made an appointment to have my explorers oil changed and tires rotated. I called to set that appointment and it was a fast and efficient call. When I showed up to drop it off I was greeted within taking a step into their waiting room/office area. Extremely smooth process of dropping the vehicle off. My phone number was verified as the best contact upon completion or if they needed anything during the work or if they found anything needing attention. About 35-40 minutes later I received a call that the work was done and then other things they noticed that need attention were told to me. I called Midas and spoke with David on Thursday afternoon. I needed an oil change and my brakes checked and potentially replaced. He got me in the very next morning. They inspected my brakes and only my front brakes needed replaced. They also informed me about all other issues with my car, some of which I knew about and others I did not. David educated me on the services so I could make the best decision for me today. I opted for just brakes and oil change and will get more work done after I move. I arrived there at 9 and my car was done at noon! David also assisted with finding the best deal possible. He was able to get me $40 off my services today and rebates that will total $55! I came here for my first oil change after my maintenance warranty expired. I'm not sure what the issue was but my car in not that weird. I drive a Mini Cooper. Oil changes are not complicated. They seemed to make that happen but couldn't reset the oil change interval?? It took all three of them in the shop and they couldn't figure it out. They said they have a special tool to do this but it's at another shop so could I stop by the next day. Sure, no problem. Cue next day...... I arrive after work to ONLY have the reset done. I was there for an hour. They couldn't reset the oil interval. I was dumbfounded. How hard could this really be? I got home....took me 5 minutes. Note to all..... if you have a "weird" car be sure to educate yourself on your car and ask if they are educated about your car before you come here. I won't come here again. read more

This shop has always treated me well. When my dealer lied to me that I needed new brakes, this Midas told me otherwise. I later went back to them because they were honest with me, and that's hard to find in an auto shop. They are up front and honest, and I go to them even if they aren't the cheapest because I trust them to do things right. read more

I recently praised this business on Yelp in 2018 for their excellent service. Recently I got an email from Midas with special offers, so I decided to use their online appointment scheduling system. The system allowed me to set an appointment to have my brakes checked. I did receive a verification email stating that the request would be reviewed and scheduled when the store opened. I never received any call regarding the appointment. Why pay to have an online appointment scheduling system that, apparently, isn't even used or followed-up upon? Seems I don't have good luck with online scheduling...anywhere. read more

I booked an oil change on fairly short notice. Gary worked with me on a schedule to do the work at the end of the day. During the oil change, we realized I did not have the key/wrench for the wheels. This prevented Midas from performing a tire rotation. Gary said I could come in for a rotation another day. Today, I called to schedule the rotation. Chris found Gary's notes in the system and scheduled me today. That was refreshing -- rarely do I find customer service in which workers find and read notes from another employee! I arrived for the appointment and Chris and team were ready for me. The work was completed within about 35 minutes. Both Gary and Chris were helpful and explained the work and options. Also, the Midas price was less expensive than that of local competitors AND included tire rotation. The waiting area was pretty clean and included water, coffee, and Wi-Fi. Overall, this was a good experience. This Midas location will be first choice for future work. read more

AVOID, This repair shop charges Hrly rates that are higher than most dealerships! The owner is very rude. If you have the slightest knowledge about cars, then do not dare question anything he tells you...or he'll automatically go on the defense. I am usually skeptical of mechanic shops, but so far I have had a good experience at this location. like one of the other reviews over here, when my dealer lied to me about the brakes, Mike inspected them and informed me that I did not need to change the brakes at that time. I have gone back for oil changes, I have gotten a quick service. I would have rate it 5star but the prices for main services are a little higher, I would not say $200 like one of the reviews below but about $20 more. read more
