Manager James is the friendliest, most professional, most honest car repair person I've ever met in my 60 years of life! I won't go in to detail about my whole encounter with the Midas shop, I'll jump right to the conclusion. James made everything right with my car and he made a couple of follow up calls to me to see that everything was still going well. Most service people these days are quick to blame the "user" for everything that goes wrong with a car, or with anything that needs repair. James took ownership of the situation and made it right. James is a very rare, and very good example of what is RIGHT with repairs shops. Huge thanks to him! read more

I don't recommend anyone to go to this Midas. The service is horrible. Not only that the manager James is a complete liar and a crook. I have three different experiences with this Midas and all three were bad. You ask for an estimate and He tells you lies about that. You wait for hours until someone comes and informs you with what the problem is. Then that's when the lies come in he says this is your issue when it is not. I went for brake pads and He told me my roots need changing on front and back. I told him just fix the back. I took my car to a Ford dealership and they told me that my roto did not need to be changed. A few months pass an I hear a grinding noise so I said my brakes going out again to soon. Took back to James and He took again a long time to let me know What wrong. After 4 hours He said your right calpher is broking and that's Why your brake pads are gone so fast. That turn out to be a lie. So I am out over $700. Don't go to this Midas he is a rip off and a crook I read more

Very knowledgeable and SKILLED mechanics with EXTREMELY ACCURATE DIAGNOSE AND an EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICE!!! I am very HAPPY ABOUT THIS NEW PLACE I FOUND!!! My LEXUS had an ABS LIGHT on. So one day I went to Manny's Auto Repair on Harbor. They immediately scanned the Car with a little scanner(Probably Very Cheap Scanner) and told me that I need to change the Front Speed Sensors Approximately $200 a piece. And then they said, there is no guarantee that will solve the problem. So I left that shop, BUT DID ending up Changing the Front Speed Seniors. And after replacing the speed sensors, Still DID NOT FIX MY CAR'S ABS Problem. Then I WENT TO MANY CAR WORKSHOPS including Anaheim Auto Repair and Muffler on Ball Rd & Magnolia TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX IT. Many of them said different things and the Manager (Who comes there in a BMW) of Anaheim Auto Repair and Muffler told me that someone messed up my Lexus ABS System and they said that I need to replace the WHOLE ABS SYSTEM & they said, it's going to cost me $2000, But they can give me a used ABS for $800. But I refused to do it. And Then I waited for sometimes without fixing it. One day I was passing by this NEWLY STARTED MIDAS shop @ EUCLID & LA PALMA, When I saw their Shop's Sign, I decided to stop by TO hear what they are going to say about my LEXUS ABS PROBLEM. With my past experiences with different Car workshops, I was very skeptic when I drove into this MIDAS shop. As soon as I got there, The Manager said, don't worry, we will take care of this issue and did give me a confidence that they definitely able to solve the problem without replacing unwanted Expensive parts in the Car. SO, They immediately DIAGNOSED & LOCATED THE PROBLEM. The ABS problem caused by one of the Front axil was spinning faster than the other. So they gave me a quote to replace the front axils. Then THEY REPLACED THE FRONT AXLE ONLY AND THE ABS PROBLEM COMPLETELY SOLVED WITHOUT REPLACING ANYTHING ELSE. AND MY TOTAL BILL including oil change WAS ONLY $401.43. With a LIFE TIME WARRANTY!!! They HAVE very expensive and NEWLY purchased Diagnostic Scanners and those scanners are EXTREMELY ACCURATE! So I got a very EXTREMELY ACCURATE DIAGNOSE AND an EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICE!!! Plus Very Friendly staffs and Manager!!! YOU Definitely try this place before you try anywhere else. Very knowledgeable and SKILLED mechanics!!! read more

I have been taking my car to Midas for a few years now. They are always friendly and professional and FAST. This last time, they redid my brakes both front and back, which was about $800, but guaranteed for life. So there's that. I had wanted them to recharge the a/c, but they said the compressor was broken, and it would cost $1500 to replace it. I decided to take my car to my regular mechanic (I go to Midas for brakes/guarantee) and my mechanic said it was the compressor, but it only cost me $800! So that is why I am giving 4 stars...the compressor quote was ridiculously expensive! read more

Always in and out James and Alex are great ! Straight to the point. I don't leave without knowing exactly what's going on.

James at Midas is a real pro and the service is excellent.

Don't waste your time!!! Purchased a coupon via groupon, this facility makes it nearly impossible to service ur vehicle with a coupon. Tried scheduling appointments twice was placed on hold both times for very long time. My daughter was treated the same way. Very unprofessional. I lost out on the money I paid for the coupon but it's better than dealing with an unprofessional business. read more

I am absolutely satisfied with the work James and is team did on my Cadillac! I was ready to buy a new car. My Cadillac was fixed in a day and half. (I brought the car in late) I was quoted a low price to begin with and ended up paying even less than expected. read more

Best location I have been to. The service is amazing! The staff goes above and beyond their job duties to make you feel important. They are personable, friendly, and just all around good people! This will be my go to place from now on! read more

I dropped my car off for an oil change. Originally I was going to pick it up the next day but when I swung by after closing James was still working away. I asked if I could pick it up and he interrupted his closing tasks to help me. Its easy to tell that he wants to satisfy his customers and I had a great experience. read more

Whenever I have car trouble, problems, or general questions, this particular Midas location is ALWAYS there for me! James and Alex provide superior customer service and always make me feel welcome. It feels like a small personal shop, even though it's a large corporation. I've recommended my friends and family here and they have had similar great experiences. Thank you James and Alex for always keeping me safe and going on the road-I appreciate you! read more

I've been coming here for a few years. James is always courteous and will thoughtfully explain the services provided. I have never felt scammed or pressured to do anything on my car I didn't want. Simple car maintenance done well. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this Anaheim location. It's never fun getting routine maintenance done but James was a pleasure and really knew his stuff. I was also impressed with his customer service and ability to assist multiple customers at once and still be pleasant. I will be a return customer for sure. read more

I've been here twice for two different cars. Once for my Corolla, the other for my Mini Cooper, and I've always been treated wonderfully. Alex and James are both very friendly and the prices here are pretty decent. As far as I can tell, I will certainly be coming back for future services! read more

It is a shame I can't leave 0 stars. I went to them to get an estimate on a maintenance check up on my car. After spending a little while there they told me they were going to charge me about the double what the dealership said they would charge me. They tried to tell me that the spark plug the for my car would cost about $150. This is so not even close to being true. The dealership said they would charge me less than $200 for the maintenance check up including the change the spark plugs. read more

Came here to get an oil change and too see if they could check my brakes because they are squeaking they said the normally charge 45 dollars because they have to take the wheels off but fortunately because my tires are big u can see thru my wheels the guy was nice enough to come outside too look. He came and looked and let me know that my brake pads were worn away and I needed to get them all fixed they were gone. The price would be about 400 to get all of them fixed. I do have regular mechanic but he is deep in garden grove who I saw a month ago and he replaced a rotor and let me know my brakes were fine so I was very confused how in a month all were bad. And there oil change for a full synthetic oil change was 79.00 which I felt was way too much. He gave me me his card and I left. I talk to my mom who gave me the name of a trusted mechanic up the street and she told me to get a second opinion. I am so glad I did I went to firestone on Lincoln and he gave me a full synthetic oil change for 48.00 dollars and checked my brakes and he told me I had 70 percent paid on my front ones and 40 percent on my back ones and there was no safety reason to replace them. And that maybe were I got the brakes the person who originally put them on used inferior pads and that's why they squeak but I can hold off for awhile and just make sure next time I get name brand brake pads. I'm so happy I got that second opinion if I had trusted them I would have been out 500 dollars today. I don't know how they fix things but I suggest if you are going to go to them with a problem don't take there word for it get a second opinion before the work is done so u can be sure and save money cause there is way cheaper places to go. read more

I noticed my brake light was out so I went to Midas with a replacement bulb to have someone change it for me.. I went inside and Alex came out front and when he took out the old bulb he noticed it wasn't burnt out it was just loose..he tightened it and I was on my way..Thank you Alex for the great customer service read more

Quality auto service. Several major services have all been done correctly to result in not only a fixed problem but also improved car performance. Friendly staff gives open information including options about service issues. These guys care about their customers! read more

This place is terrible. I had Midas warranty for one of my car parts. When I first got the part replaced with the Midas part it was free for them to check the problem, but when I need to get it checked under warranty they want to charge me $95/hour. James was also trying to play it off like it wasn't the problem with the part. This is such BS. read more

James is the real deal! He is honest, kind and he will let you know how long you can hold off on fixing something if you can't afford it right now. The prices are fair and James may even go lower than the others. I have been taking my van to James for several years, and most times he can drive me back home and pick me up from home when my car is ready. Ladies, are you always wondering whether to trust the auto dealer? Well, I have found James to be fair and spot on diagnosing the issue and price. James is dedicated to his community. One day I was there having my car worked on and while I was in the waiting room another customer told me she was going on a mission trip to the Philippines. We talked and she asked me for a donation. I politely declined, however, James made a donation to her local church right there on the spot? I am truly impressed with his generosity and commitment to his customers and community. Alex does most of the work on my car and he is AWESOME! He is professional and he knows his stuff. I always ask a lot of questions about the problem with my van, and he takes the time to explain the problem about why my van was broken. If you are on the fence, give Midas a try! The staff is honest, transparent and responsive! read more

I've been coming here for more than 8 years. Alex and James are awesome. I never had any problems with any work they have done.

There is no better way to spend a beautiful summer Saturday morning than at Midas getting my vehicle worked on. I am confident in knowing that all of the employees are knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy. In previous years, when my vehicle needed serviced, I would take it to Alex when he worked at a different Midas in Orange. Alex has been skillfully working on my vehicle for years. After discovering that he relocated to Anaheim, I did not hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure my vehicle only receives his professional quality service. Thank you Alex, you are the best! read more

I went to this store on 6/5/17 and got there and asked to do balance and alignment and change two front tires of the car. On June 8 my tire emptied all over and again had to return to the establishment. They said nothing had happened. I also complained about the balance, because the car is still with a huge vibration. They just filled the tire. They acted in bad faith with me because they said the vibration was because of the brake pad. And then I returned because the vibration was enormous. And they said it was a piece that was old. And we could do nothing more about alignment and balancing. The service sucked. It was coming from work and the tire was empty again. I got there today and showed it to him. And he said he could do nothing. He said I had to buy another tire. I left there and went to another facility to really know what had happened and the person said that the wheel was in trouble and that problem had to be corrected when he changed tires so the tire was always emptying. Please anyone who reads this message does not go in your place because there they are not good natured. I was tricked that the tire had a guarantee that the service was guaranteed and did not give me any guarantee of service. They are really incompetent. I'm only giving a star because I can not give any. Because they do not deserve any stars read more

I've been a customer at the Anaheim location more than 5 years. On yesterday, 03/28/16, I had my 02 Avalon dropped off by a family member. I called James J. ahead of time to let him know that I would have the car dropped off, and asked if he would communicate with me via my cell. James called me with a diagnosis and pricing before proceeding with the work. He kept me posted throughout the entire process. He agreed to wait for me to pick up my car, although I wouldn't arrive until after business hours. Upon my arrival, he did not rush through the process. He took the time to explain brake pad and rotor measurements. He had the actual rotors and parts available to ensure that I understood what was going on with my car. James provided excellent customer service from the beginning to the end. I will recommend this location to all my family and friends! James went above and beyond the call of duty. James is top notch!! James, you Rock!! read more

Bad customer service. They didn't even bother to come out and check our car or didn't even care to listen to the problem.

Super good service. They repair my unfixable rim and tire and not only that, while i was waiting one of the mechanics fix my reading glasses too. They are really honest and tell you what to expect. They do not change prices after they give you the estimate and will go out of their way to help you. read more

They replaced both sides of the lower control arms on 1/18/12 and costed me $2400. Today I found the same issue with my car, it's hasn't been 2 years yet. Don't use their services because they over charge you and their work is very bad. read more

I found this place on Yelp so I decided to check it out. I called at 2:30pm and made an appt for the same day at 4pm. When I got there Omar helped me and he was really nice. He asked me what services I needed and I told him then they took my keys and told me they would call me once they knew if my brakes needed to be changed or not. Sure enough my front brakes needed to be changed and he told me I had to change some things for my rear brakes too but that I could wait If I didnt have the money. He also infomred me that I will need to change my axel and gasket panel in the future. I was there a little bit over an hour and they did the following - oil change ($20 with coupon), changed the brake pads (lifetime waranty), changed the shoes for the brakes, changed the drums for the brakes, inspected my whole car, and I paid $360 for everything. I dont know if the prices are expensive, but I know they they do a good job and that I will definitely be going back! They were very helpful, and friendly with my son, they even gave him a balloon. Thanks guys! read more

i had a coupon that i got from walgreen for an oil change for $19.99 with a free tire rotation, i called them and i spoke with james, told him about the coupon and ask for an appointment, he told me i dont need one because it was not busy that noon on a friday. i drove the extra miles cause it seems that was a good deal, i use to bring my car to a different shop which is closer to my place for years but this time i wanna try Midas. when i got there, James told me that since i had a bigger car (toyota sequoia), the price will be $ 39.99, and he can not honor the coupon. i mention to him that i called him before i showed up, told him everything including the coupon, drove farther but when i was there, he said that the price would be higher? i was so upset to him especially when he tried to tell me that they dont deal with coupons comming from walgreen, he said he controls the issuing of coupons? i know then that he is lying, in disgust, i told him "you are full of sh**t.!!", and left. i drove back to my old mechanic which i showed them the coupon and ask them if they can match the price, the manager (Todd) at advance car care (Good Year) on brookhurst ave (near ball road), said, sure , why not?, they work on my car, change my oil, rotate my tires with no additional cost. this guys did a very good job, its very hard to find honest and good mechanics nowadays.! i would suggest that those who have this coupons from walgreen, dont waste your time going to Midas, James will tell you that he did not authorize those coupons, bring it to your favorite shop and let them match the price. read more

0 stars!!!! i wish there was an option for that. and about james??? wow, ive noticed that all the 5 star reviews include james in it. we're you guys offered a 50% off deal to check in and write 5 star reviews???? because i've met him myself personally, and he is not anything like what these yelp reviewers have written. i personally dont spend my time to write reviews, bad or good, but i just had to post one because my review about midas. it was the worst experience of my life and cost my car. i had an oil change done, and it seemed okay until i drove off and that same night my check engine light came on. my car would not start it would just die on me. i would have to rev my engine for about 2 mins to get it to start. i went back to midas the next morning and spoke to james and told him that my check engine light came on after i got it serviced here. i wasnt angry or speaking in a rude tone, but he was giving me attitude and denying responsibility because he kept saying how it was not their fault. that for oil changes they only "do the oil change and check the air filter" ( or secretly just put more damage on your car so you keep coming back for service .. thats if your really stupid lol!) he ran the codes and all cylinders misfired. he kept raging on at me saying how there would be no way it was their fault. i asked him to check anyway. we popped the hood and the air fliter was completely off, not screwed in. then he started to tone down his attitude and giving excuses knowing that it was his staff that did not screw it on. as he was screwing it back on all he said was that this isnt the problem but it could be. after starting the engine the car was perfect. but after that was done, there was no apology or nothing, not even taking responsibility for his staff's screwup. i drove my car off the lot pretty upset that i had to waste my time. but then about 2 weeks later my check engine light came on. my radiator was cracked on the top of the radiator. im 100% sure his staff cracked it on their own, because it was a crack about 3 inches long. haha, would i ever even come back here again? no, im thinking about filing a law suit. but its not even worth my time and money, so james, since i know your reading this,( beacuse the 5 star reviewers only have 1 review under their belt, which is most likely you putting those bogus 5 star reviews on, i hope you know you cost me a shit ton of money. ill make sure your business goes down. read more
