I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was enormous. The bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy without being overdone, and there was plenty of it. The toppings were fresh, the cheese was generous, and the burger was so big I couldn't finish it all. I wanted to, but it simply won the battle. One of the things that makes Parker's unique is the atmosphere. The walls are covered with horse racing memorabilia and photos. The owner is involved in horse racing, and the racing theme gives the restaurant a personality all its own. And don't leave without trying the ice cream. We had the soft serve, and it was absolutely delightful. It was the perfect finish to a great meal. This is the kind of classic American drive in that is becoming harder to find. Freshly prepared food, generous portions, local character, and a memorable experience. If you're passing through Paducah, Parker's is well worth getting off the interstate for. We'll definitely be back.

I typically am perfectly happy to pay whatever it takes to get a good meal and usually don't pay attention to the bill But this bill easily exceeded by 50% What you typically pay for a high-quality meal And while the meal was quite good, it wasn't a five star meal The service was five stars The salad was good The coconut clam appetizer was good My branzino was quite the small portion and lacked flavor Our salmon was overcooked to dry The best part was the service it was impeccable I rarely say this But I'll never go back it's just not worth it It's a 150$ meal. We ate at the Mayfield Majestic today and I ordered a Small Majestic Special pizza. Which had sausage, onions and green peppers baked under the cheese on homemade crust. NOT ANYMORE THERE. When it came out it looked like it had started out on a frozen pizza crust put tomato sauce on it and cheese and baked it then they put precooked sausage on top and scattered RAW ONIONS & GREEN PEPPERS ON TOP. It was awful. I talked to the little waitress and she said they have had lots of complaints and that the pizzas are not like they used to be. So I ate one piece and paid $12.00 for a pizza that I could have gotten in the freezer section at Walmart that would have been better and a lot cheaper. Now my husband had the salad bar & it was good. So I paid the almost $30.00 bill and left the pizza on the table. The little girl said that she would tell the boss about it but there was no one there this afternoon to make it right. We WILL NOT BE BACK. So disappointed. The Draffenville one is now Popi's and is excellent. Hate this. The service was very good. Wish the Pizza was!!

The margaritas were good [especially the mango with tajin rim] and I really enjoyed the ambience on the patio. But, the waitress didn't seem to know the answers to many of the questions I asked so she would go off to ask and then take awhile to come back and in one instance she forgot completely until after we paid the check [she was very kind, though]. We ordered the burrito and enchilada combo to split, which the menu described as having green sauce but it came out with red "sauce". I don't like red sauce and wouldn't have ordered a dish with red sauce, but this was more akin to the watery tomato juice you get out of canned tomatoes. The corn tortilla on the enchilada wasn't cooked and the chicken inside both items tasted like canned chicken. It was very flavorless overall. If we come back, it will be for drinks only.
