Spent 3 hours trying to get their system to accept my drivers license. Home Depot uses a company called CLEAR to verify/approve DL. No employee knew why it would not accept DL. After 3 hours I was told to call CLEAR their verification company, After an hour and a half trying to get an actual person at CLEAR on the phone, a CLEAR agent said, you have to have a "REAL ID" drivers license AND a smart phone to rent a truck or van from Home Depot!!!!. We went immediately to UHaul who rented us a van with no problem. Home Depot rental agents did not know any of this. HD hides these requirements until you are ready to pick up the van. And the employees Did NOT know.

It has grown over the years, I can remember when it was half the space and that was for combined PB/Williams Sonoma, and Hold Everything. It is surprising to look around my house and realize how many things were purchased at this outlet, and almost all of them on a super-closeout ultra special deal. Some might say I'm cheap, and I'd agree, but I also love nice things. Many, many years ago I saw the apothecary table from PB on an episode of "Friends," and thought it interesting and little more. Then imagine my surprise probably 10 years ago (quite awhile ago at least, don't quote me on timing) when hubby and I visited and saw a slew of apothecary tables on super sale for $49-$79... don't remember precisely, but seriously only two digits in the price. We've bought lamps, pillows, home accents, window treatments, light fixtures, vanity mirrors, lots of stuff over the years. This past weekend we visited and the deal I couldn't pass up was from the PB Kids collection, adorable retro shaped lunch boxes for some young ones on our Christmas list for $7. Seriously, so cute. I also grabbed a great looking travel cosmetic bag set for an older cousin who is in college, and we bought a couple of great nostalgic metal Christmas ornaments. This is a great store that I dub 4 out of 5 stars because it can be hit or miss if there's not a special sale going on. Remmber, I'm cheap and this is Pottery Barn. The Williams Sonoma shop next door is also the same, so definitely worth the trip if you're not already on the email list.

I can only say thanks for setting my expectations low because it made realizing this family run place is a gem that much nicer. There's only so much you can say about a furniture store that focuses on living room seating. Either it's your style or it's not; same with price. We found the furniture to be of substantial quality at about the price of the cheaper chain stores. The ability to design what you want and have it in a few weeks was really great although I've never had the interest prior to our two visits. What is best is the owners are very nice, helpful and respectful of budget. No shame in modest budgets since the furniture prices span below the 'good' lines at chain stores and above. When I reached out to the store manager to inform her what I discovered; she tried to clean it up and said "it must have come from the delivery truck." That explains to me why it was a clearance item and non refundable. How deceitful and disgusting is that to sell a customer an infested sofa with bugs in it! I also realized on one side of the sofa, feels like cardboard is in it. $2,000.00 is not easy to come by for me. It was not worth $2,000. I would give them a zero rating if I could.
