The 2012 review by 'Mary' should be removed. I came in expecting a pretentious cold treatment in part because of the review and few others. I can only say thanks for setting my expectations low because it made realizing this family run place is a gem that much nicer. There's only so much you can say about a furniture store that focuses on living room seating. Either it's your style or it's not; same with price. We found the furniture to be of substantial quality at about the price of the cheaper chain stores. The ability to design what you want and have it in a few weeks was really great although I've never had the interest prior to our two visits. What is best is the owners are very nice, helpful and respectful of budget. No shame in modest budgets since the furniture prices span below the 'good' lines at chain stores and above. At this revised posting we have owned our sofas for 2 years and enjoy movie watching, lounging and just day to day living. read more

I purchased a houndstooth sectional from this establishment back in February of this year. To my surprise, I encountered bugs were in the sofa. When I reached out to the store manager to inform her what I discovered; she tried to clean it up and said "it must have come from the delivery truck." That explains to me why it was a clearance item and non refundable. How deceitful and disgusting is that to sell a customer an infested sofa with bugs in it! I also realized on one side of the sofa, feels like cardboard is in it. $2,000.00 is not easy to come by for me. It was not worth $2,000. I would give them a zero rating if I could. read more

1. Custom sofa ($8119.31) ordered on January 4, 2021 with a promised delivery date of April 1. I asked to change the ottoman two weeks into the order, but was told I could not change because it was already in production. April 1 came and went. I continued to contact the store to find out when I would receive my sofa for the next eight months. They were difficult to reach and unapologetic when I finally did reach them. This went on over and over until I finally received the sofa on December 12, 2021. 2. August of 2022, my USB port stopped working. I contacted them for a warranty repair and they asked me to e-mail a photo of the port. A couple of weeks after I e-mailed them, they replied that the repair would not be covered by warranty because the port appeared to have been abused. Really? The port looks just like it did when the sofa was delivered. Apparently, it's an internal problem because it just doesn't work anymore. Now they want $50 to repair it. The selection, style and quality of their furniture is great, but their customer service does not exist. They have little regard for what happens once they make the sale. It is shameful that they absolutely do not stand behind their warranty. read more

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Horrible customer service. Going on a year waiting for our couch and the only time we ever hear from them and when we reach out for an update. Their sorry excuse for an update is 2 sentences long with the push back date of a month. The manager assured us that we would be getting 2 week updates as of a couple of months ago, but of course that does not happen. If you call, they don't answer or call back. It's understandable that they have no control over the factory that makes the furniture, but they truly do not know the meaning of customer service. All they care about is making a sale. Although slightly pricey, I liked this furniture store for the sole reason that the couches aren't flashy and you can choose fabrics for reupholstering. A small tapestry and chair and ottoman ran about $800, but they keep up with the trends, carrying a linen-esque sofa in spartan and slightly more ornate styles. They also carry a small selection of lamps and accessories. Basically everything is pretty modern, preppy, and focuses on clean lines. read more

This is a customer service review because we haven't placed our order yet for our custom sofa. Alex the owner is fabulous! She is so fun and creative and personable. Not once did she try and "sell" us a sofa. Abby is so sweet and friendly and super helpful! She let me look around and wasn't pushy at all but then ready to answer every question I had! Can't wait to place our order and get our new sectional! Also the selection really is fabulous! Every style is represented and the fabric choices are above and beyond!! I went to Sensational Sofas because I hear their ads on the radio. The furniture is nice, but I will not be buying from here because the whole place stinks. There is a dog in the back that barks and growls and it has used the bathroom all over the place. If this is the way they treat their working space, I don't think my furniture would fare any better. read more

I will probably never go back to the store. The old lady and what I assume is her daughter that owns the store are pushy and rude. They followed me around throughout the whole store and would not let me be. They asked me literally every five minutes if I had a question. Even when I would answer no, they would still continue to push information at me. It was so hard to focus and look at couches with them constantly interrupting me. This is also not a place for kids, they were rude from the beginning and would not let my kids come close to any furniture. I have very well behaved kids and did not appreciate the disrespect and rudeness that I experience simply because I had kids. I was ready to buy a couch but left this stored due to their pushy comments and disrespect. I won't be back in and wont recommend it to anyone I know. read more

I went into this store today and the owner, Roger, was extremely rude and nasty because I said that the furniture was to pricey. He literally got mad and insulted me because I voiced my opinion about the prices. He even had the audacity to say I insulted him because I said the furniture was to high. It was unbelievable to see how petty and ignorant his responses were and how he behaved. He told me that if I felt his prices were to expensive that I didn't know anything about furniture. At first I thought he was joking and then after he told me that I should go shop elsewhere if I thought his prices were to high I asked him why was he being rude and insulting. He continued to be rude and even after I said he just lost my business, he responded "I didn't lose anything." His horrible attitude was so uncalled for and unnecessary. I continued to question him about why he was being rude for no reason and he continued to justify his rudeness. Now that I think back to that moment, its laughable that he actually thought his behavior was acceptable. I also noticed the store was empty when I was in there, apparently I am not the only one who thinks his furniture is overpriced. I have no interest in paying $1700 for a cheap looking couch. The furniture is extremely overpriced and based on the reviews I have read, this is not the first time he has been rude to customers. There are too many places locally and online where I can buy quality custom furniture for far less and without the unnecessary rudeness. Had I read the reviews before going there to look, I would have never even wasted my time walking through the door. read more

This place is a disaster. I bought a sofa there and while the purchasing experience was fine, the quality of the sofa is terrible. It was a $1200 sofa that barely lasted 2 years. When I called the store while the sofa was still under warranty, it has been like pulling teeth to get the owners to replace the sofa cushions (again, at no cost to them because the sofa is still under warranty). They are completely disorganized and customer service is a complete joke. I am so disappointed in this store and I will never, ever set foot in there again. read more
