I don't know if the employees get their attitude from their boss, but they really think they're smarter and know more than everyone else. The most unorganized office personnel that I've ever seen in my whole life. If something is not right, it's always the patient's fault. After my last appointment I'm starting to question the people that work in the back also! Too many kids and incompetent people in charge! Keep up with all your paperwork, especially any hand written notes. The review by Wes M. is almost exactly my story! We have been patients of Dr. Eberlein for 24 years. For the last year, we had the same issues with his office and Cigna. Some claims were processed in network, others out of network. (The practice makes more money from insurance on cleanings and exams if they are processed out of network because these services are always paid at 100%. It's the opposite for procedures, with the practice paid less out of network. Therefore, the patient pays hundreds more for procedures processed out of network.) I spent hours on the phone with Amanda trying to get reimbursed over $500 because we were billed as if we had no insurance (initially understandable because we were establishing COBRA at the time). And after she finally agreed to the amount in the documentation, it was like pulling teeth to get her to mail checks to myself and our daughter. I have now caught Amanda in multiple lies, telling me that their policy is to not mail checks, then telling me today that that is not their policy and that they mail checks all the time. She told our daughter today that I insisted her check be sent certified mail when it was the exact opposite of this in earlier conversations with Amanda. There is more detail to the story, but it's nearly the same as the review by Wes M. In fairness, their previous person in charge of some of this died, but that excuse goes only so far. This previous person had sent me a reimbursement check months ago to make a zero balance, but their record of this was apparently not complete and Amanda insisted I owed that amount of money until I went back through old records. Our family will not be returning to this practice, I'm sorry to say. All the dentists and other professionals always did a good job. I emailed Dr. Eberlein with an explanation of the main reason we are leaving - the practice being out of Cigna's network. Amanda said he saw my email, but now I don't trust that he did. My family loves our dentist and his office staff. Dr. Eberlein takes the time to talk with us and explain things so that we can understand. His office staff are kind, respectful and fun to work with! Whenever I have questions, they'll make sure I fully understand. My family and I were talking recently and we all enjoy going because we enjoy the people who work there so much. I recommend staying away from this dentist and anyone associated, because the practice has gone downhill especially since the new office manager, Amanda arrived a few years ago. She will find any way to not actually help a patient and be condescending. We had been patients for many years and they started overcharging us on any visit or quotes so we would have to get reimbursed after insurance. They would also schedule us incorrectly for our cleanings so we would have to wait a very long time several times for our appointments to be complete. Amanda was very rude when we tried to speak with her about this and did not seem to care about the issues. We gave them another chance and prior to me having a lot of work done on my teeth, they kept sending me incorrect benefits information saying that I would owe a lot more than I should. I asked about this prior to the appointment several times through email and on the phone and was told it was the porcelain upcharge that was making the difference. This was not true. I found out later that the dentist had gone out of network just 6 days prior to my previously scheduled appointment so they ended up overbilling me $300. They refunded part of it up to what the out of network would allow but they pocketed $165 more than they should have overall because of them no longer being in network. They knew this but seemingly as retaliation for my previous complaints, purposely did not tell me this. Once I found out, I wanted to speak with Dr. Eberlein about it. We made many attempts and kept being given the run around. Then, we ended up being ignored and ultimately Amanda would not allow us to speak to the dentist. We also tried calling to speak with the office manager Amanda about this and would be lied to and told she is not available and that she would call back and she never did. We never received any warning or explanation so it is clear they knew they had done this and just would not speak to us about it. We knew that someone higher would have to help with it and asked for it to be escalated. We finally heard from Dr. Eberlein but Amanda had told him incorrectly that we had already been given in network pricing and stated that an amount that they put in as extra charge due to them being overpaid by my insurance and myself was a write off when it was actually a charge beyond what the charges should have been. He did not look at the math which is very obvious and seemingly condoned how I was treated and overcharged. Bad customer service, dishonest, and they will find ways to get more money from you than they should! FYI The staff regularly offers incentives such as gift cards to show proof that you put a review of them on google so do keep that in mind if you see a positive review. The staff is fairly incompetent with billing so it is unlikely others have not had issues unless they just trust the office is billing them correctly and do not research it on their own. Dr. Christina is the best! I am the world's biggest chicken and the staff put me at ease. Last week had a root canal done by Dr. Christina and it was a breeze. No pain at all. Very personable Doctor. She truly cares about you and your teeth. This is the only dentist I will be using from here on. So difficult to find one you can trust. I lucked out when I found this dentist. read more

The dentists are good, but be very careful about the billing. I went to both dentists several years, but the last time I was not made aware that the dentist they made me an appointment with no longer took my insurance until after my dental services. I also brought my dental appliance to be adjusted, but the dentist said I would have to wait for the other dentist to do that. If you have money and time to waste, go here. Just go over every detail with admin, maybe a few times before you go, because they simply don't care or don't want to find out. Oh it's my responsibility to know my insurance. Well since I have seen the same dentist for several years, how would I know she no longer took my insurance. I guess the admin staff isn't responsible for giving the customer this knowledge before services. If I told my boss it was the customer's responsibility, she would remind me that it's my job to actually know my job and help the customer and not leave them in the dark. read more

I found that Dr. Eberlein and his staff were very detailed and thorough diagnosing an issue I had with a lower moler that had a crown. After a series of tests instead of advising a replacement of the crown due to sensitivity Dr. Eberlein determined that the crown only needed to be reshaped in order to conform with my upper teeth with my bite. He took the time to find the solution that wasn't an expensive one and did so in a manner of doing what was best for the patient. read more

Three thumbs up and all hats off to Dr. Eberlein and Dr. Gulati AND staff for your efforts recently in creating an excellent replacement lower denture. I can now eat with reckless abandon (well almost) and yet how different my life is now that I can talk normally once again, as well as the new denture likes me and I too like it very much. I think we will co-exist with one another for hopefully a long time to come. Folks this dental practice IS THE BEST I've ever had as unfortunately my inherited DNA gave me ongoing dental problems most of my life. My family and extended family used this dentist for almost 8 years and we're paying for it out of the mouth now. I am very skittish about dental work myself so I am lucky he never did anything on me. They will recommend unnecessary work and will not be upfront on the charges or what is not covered. I had some procedure done that was supposed to be 80% covered and went to pay and my bill was close to $400. They overcharged me and never bothered to reimburse me the balance just put it on my account. This is to me unethical accounting practices. They make the statement too convoluted and when you question them they give your some mumbo jumbo sales pitch. You are left with the understanding that the procedure will be covered by your insurance until it is competed and then informed "oops" and left to pay the balance with no warning and no recourse. My sister in law had some work done, 6 months later had an abscess and she went to a new dentist that found the crown was too short and the tooth decayed underneath it. This required an additional root canal and crown. The new dentist also discovered severe decay that was present for at least 2 years that wasn't caught or was it that he wanted to cash in later. My husband recently was having tooth pain in a tooth he had a root canal and crown on. His crown was also too short. He ended up having to be referred to an endodontist and getting another root canal. The previous root canal was not filled all the way causing calcification to form and a an additional root in this molar was not even addressed. $1200 out of pocket and 3 days of lost work. We were taking our child there since he takes children. We were told that my child had 4 cavities but he could not fill them since he did not work on children. So why was he working on my child for 3 years cleaning teeth. We saw a pediatric dentist and she only had 2 cavities that had been present for at least a year and we ended up having to get 2 crowns, plus pay for the kid cocktail.....$600 later. Do not go here....you will pay then and pay later with pain and enough money for either a car payment or a mortgage payment. I think this guy Kyle is working on his retirement fund and not his ethics and oath he took when getting his degree. read more
