Appointment with Dr. Dorwart was changed to a NP which was OK but would have liked to have been notified of the change prior to walking into the office. Time spent with the NP was approximately less than 10 minutes for which I was charged the full doctor's fee. Tests that she ordered and the results have not been posted nor have Xray results been posted. And this is two months after being done at this appointment. Really disgusted with this organization. Dr. Dorwart was competent but the functionality of the organization is reflecting on him.

But if you choose to walk in it's best to do it early in the morning. I did a walk in at 8:45am and I was seen a little before 9am even though it said I would have to wait until 9:15am. The phlebotomist was very gentle and had listened to my tips on what to use to draw my blood. The employee I had was quick and efficient. The waiting area was clean.

This was very convenient for me because all I had to do was check in at the kiosk when I arrived at the lab and just wait in the waiting room area for my name to be called. They have a large screen at the Check-In counter that shows your name and when you are not in line to be called by the lab technician. The lab technician called my name and took me to the back to get my blood work done. She was very professional and very nice, and made me feel very comfortable when doing my blood work. She took my blood work and made me sign out on a pad, and I was on my way within 15 minutes. This was a good experience and it was quick which I like very much. Quest Diagnostics is a good place for lab work, and would be glad to come back here again if I needed blood work to be done.

Representative said that's probably the reason I have trouble getting my test strips. They have a new meter (see my photo). I already had all of my information in their system when I registered my old meter. They always gave me great service by phone and mail. Once again I was quickly provided with a new meter. It arrived in the mail in record time. The meter and 50 test strips were free. They have a very easy ordering service for additional test strips. The cost of the strips is so reasonable I may just pay out of pocket so I don't have to deal with prescription and insurance billing with deductibles. One thing that will be to Roches detriment is my desire to eliminate Finger Pricks. I'm looking into Continuous Glucose Monitors that work using an app and your phone. Medicare will cover these Monitors. Maybe Roche makes one. I'm not sure. All things considered I probably should get a new phone first! Until then I'm very happy and always have been happy using Roche Diagnostics Medical Supplies and Services. It's great to have the peace of mind that I have a back up meter in case mine acts up or dies.

I was experiencing debilitating anxiety after results from an ultrasound came back and I had to wait almost 4 days to get in with my specialist to give me the TRUE results of what was found. I've never cried more.. thank God it wasn't the bad news I originally thought. Please just steer clear of this place if you can. I'd even go as far to say I'd pay out of pocket elsewhere if I need any further images.

The staff was friendly and expert at doing the blood draw which isn't a big deal for me, but I can see having someone who is calm and friendly might be helpful for the folks who are squeamish about blood or needles. I got my arm wrapped with a cotton ball and a gauze and was out the door about about 2 minutes after being taken back there! Amazing! My only caution is that this lab is across the street from another lab which can be confusing, especially if your insurance only works at one of them. This is the one on the west side of the street! I booked my appointment online, showed up and checked in at their kiosk, waited about two minutes and was promptly taken back to have my labs drawn. The woman working was friendly enough and down to business. Overall, it was a solid experience. The parking lot was surprisingly full during my visit so give yourself a minute upon arrival.
