They then replaced the screen, and it was ok for 2 weeks. I brought it back in again when I noticed that the screen was separating from the chassis. Alex took it apart, but could not put it back together because he said the chassis was bent. The only solution offered was to replace the chassis, with no other less expensive option to repair it. I since took it to another repair shop, paid $25, and it is now working fine. I don't know about computer repairs, but I would not recommend this store for repairing your phone.

They being the head of the IT department in my company and the techician from Corporate Computers talk a lot of smack, but they are probably the smartest and helpful guys I've ever met. I had a Dell laptop that needed fixing. While a company like Dell has special parts and you'd probably normally have to go to some Dell Service Center, these guys were able to obtain the necessary parts to fix my machine. Best of all, it was free as I had originally paid my laptop with a credit card to extend it's warrantee - they gave me any necessary documentation to make the claim to my cc company. Just recently I had yet another issue with my (new) Dell Laptop and alas I have to yet again go through this claim process with my cc company since it's within 1 year past the posted warrantee expiration date. (Hey, gotta save a few hundred bucks am I right?!) So I called the guy and while the technician was away in the field, the guy on the phone asked what was wrong with my laptop (won't power on). Instead of dealing with any BS Dell would probably tell you and charge you $49 for phone support, he gave me a few tips to try to boot it up FREE. This company offers the most professional service out there and I think this totally beats finding an Ad in a free newspaper as not only do they service corporations, they're also willing to help out a single customer like myself without any hassles. You won't find a storefront if you were to ever visit them, but you will find a bunch of computers strewn about and people working diligently to get stuff done.

I'm a student with 1 week left before my semester project is due, and all my work is on a damaged…read morethumb drive. I took the damaged thumb-drive into PC Mac Express for diagnosis to see if it could be fixed. They called back and said it would cost about $400 and there was only a 50/50 chance that it could be recovered. When I picked it up, there was a red wire attached to the board that had not previously been there. I found someone in Canada to look at it and said they would do it for $200 and I'd only have to pay if they recovered the data. The company in Canada attempted to recover the data but said it looks like the other company had done something to the chip and were likely holding the data 'hostage' so that no one else could get the data, so that my only choice was to go back to PC Mac Express. The scope of this technology is out of my range so I don't know what to believe but what I saw with my own two eyes was the extra red wire that had not been there when I dropped it off. When I called PC Mac to question this and what was happening, they claimed nothing had been done and they had not attached any wires. At the end of the day, I didn't get my data back and PC Mac said no work had been done when in fact, I saw that alterations had been made to the thumb drive. I wouldn't ever bring anything to them again because the story doesn't add up. Perhaps something had been done by the people who work for Michael without him being aware, but in that case, nothing was done by Michael to understand the discrepancy.

He was knowledgeable and friendly. He identified the problem as a burned out SSD. He showed me how he determined the cause, and explained why it happens and how to prevent it in the future. He recommended a plan to fix it. Because we still had some time left in the hour, he ran a RAM test and did some tweaking to my RAM settings based on the test. It's not cheap to have them come to your house, but my guy did a good job and saved me a lot of time and uncertainty around what I was doing. I thought it was worth it, and would use these guys next time I have a problem I don't know how to solve.
