My wife also loved the lactation cookies so I asked if we could have the recipe and they were so kind to give it to us. Overall I would recommend Ma's Oasis to anyone looking for postpartum meals. We ordered the 30day and the Ma's Oasis team made us feel really supported throughout the entire duration of the service. I spoke with Alice before starting my plan and did a trial meal with them first. The food was so good and I even had my mom try the food with me for her approval. (She approved). Alice was also extremely kind and accommodating throughout my 30 day plan. She would check in on me to see how I was doing and if I was enjoying the food. They also had a variety of different foods which I liked because I didn't get tired of eating them. I was surprised they even had wontons, dumplings, and noodles! All so good!! Ordering from them was the best decision I made because it helped relieve so much stress and the food was delicious and good for my recovery. My review covers the meal service for healthy meals. Not for the pregnancy meals. Jen health has excellent communication and a nice variety of meal options. They don't disclose the menu before delivery but they do take meal preferences. As long as you're explicit in what you do not want and they'll do their best. The dishes tend to be very meat forward so I asked for a little bit less meat and no fish soup. I think there are different chefs for different days so sometimes the food quality will vary. The soups are high-quality, and they tend to include traditional Chinese medicine elements, such as jujube dates, Goji berries, San Yao (Chinese yam). This food is well balanced and really regulates the nervous system while not overstimulating or causing any exhaustion. In other words, it's never too sweet or too salty. And it's not oily! Also, I froze one of the soups and a couple of the dishes and it still maintained its quality after two weeks when I thawed it. This food service is an investment, but you get what you pay for and it's truly good for the body.

Yes, you read that right -- dinner came with a surprise side of nicotine. To their credit, Jen Meals' customer service manager Tiffany was responsive and apologetic (screenshots attached for transparency). But the bigger concern is that they couldn't guarantee this wouldn't happen again. Their own words suggested they're still trying to figure out how a cigarette got into their kitchen when none of their staff supposedly smokes. Not exactly the type of mystery you want served with your congee and herbal tea. . Look, mistakes happen, but as a consumer, it's hard to enjoy food when there's a possibility of finding... well, anything besides food. The meals are tasty, but I'd encourage anyone considering Jen Meals to think twice and maybe ask a few extra questions about their food handling practices. After all, you shouldn't need to worry about secondhand smoke in your soup.

I've bought several, and they have been slam dunks, without exception. Two were for my mother for her Birthday (Classic and Crudite), and my family couldn't stop raving and immediately huddled around them to chit-chat and stuff their face. One was for me, because I'm a big fan of Parks and Rec, and sometimes you have to TREAT YO' SELF. The last one was for woman I've been chasing for months. She immediately took a picture, put it on the Gram, and shared it with her best friend, who now approves of me. Killed it. Do not deceive yourself; these are not cheap. Quality never is. It's obvious that high-quality materials were used to craft them, and the way it's displayed on the board is pristine. Mention that it's a woman-owned business, whatever your sins in the past may be, all is forgiven. My advice would be to just go pick it up at their kitchen if you can. The first time I delivered, they came 2 hours early, and then the second time they came 2 hours late. Traffic in Los Angeles is just too unpredictable; go get it yourself if you can.
