I made the mistake of going to Microblading and Brow Lounge last week, as I thought it would be great to kill two birds with one stone. I walked in, the staff was kind and welcoming and the prices were cheap. But you get what you pay for.. I got a brow and lip wax. The wax was warmed in a reusable pen-type tool, that was stationed in one of the most unclean stations I've seen. There was wax everywhere and quite frankly, I'm surprised I didn't get an infection. There was even someone else in the lounge waiting for a service, as it sounded like the employee she made her appointment with ran very late. I highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

What a great experience! I have always had naturally thin eyebrows plus over waxing in high school has forced me to draw them in every day. Sometimes tedious if I'm running short on time. I first heard about microblading about a year ago. Sounded like the perfect thing! I looked into it saw the price and decided to hold off. LUCKILY, I found DL and his custom quotes starting at $100. What a great thing to offer clients considering not all brows are the same. I made my apt and got in fairly quick once I received my custom quote. The salon very chic and clean and welcoming. DL took his time drawing and measuring for the perfect brow. I loved how much time was spent here and showed he really cared about his clients. Next was the numbing solution which worked great. Once that set in the process was not painful at all. He explained the healing process and next steps. I am going back for my touch up next week and can't wait! DL Mosley is the man to see he is good at what he do whether its lashes, tint, microblading, etc. He also has classes to teach you what he does. I had my eyebriws microbladed about 2 years ago and my girls bought me a gift card for Christmas for a touch up....i was soooo dxcited and hapoy. *If I could give 3.5 stars I would, but I don't want to drag down their rating so we'll go with 4.* I was really excited to have microblading done, and I was encouraged to try the Microblading and Brow Lounge because I saw that they do training for techs who are learning the technique. My hope was that once I had the procedure done, my eyebrows would look as great as they do in the after photos without any makeup added. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. My initial procedure was done by a stylist other than D.L, (their second most expensive tech) and she was very friendly when selling me on the procedure during my consultation, but pretty indifferent to my presence when I showed up to actually do it. I was nervous (as anyone would be having this done for the first time) and so I wanted her to take a little more time explaining what she was doing as she was doing it - but she really didn't - mostly just chatted with her fellow technicians. Also, the shape she chose for me was way too dramatic, and I trusted the formula and measurements they take, but even asking questions about the shape seemed to irritate her. I really expected a higher level of service, and a "let's make sure you're comfortable before I tattoo your face" type of attitude, even though it's semi-permanent. Anyway, my brows did look good when I left the salon, but then I went through all the expected healing phases. She did give me a sheet of paper explaining those phases, which all went as expected, except the part where after the scabbing is done and they come off, the color is supposed to re-appear - this didn't happen. I was left with my original brows, after spending $340 (including a 20% tip). I was expecting to need a touch-up anyway, and I decided to book that with D.L., the owner and top technician. I did that, and he was friendlier, and did much more explaining his process and answering questions, but to be honest, the result is underwhelming. (I had my touch-up 2 weeks ago, so they're about how they're going to be.) They're better than my natural brows now, but I will still be applying make-up to enhance them basically everyday. This result may be specific to me, but if I could do it again, I wouldn't. The result is about 70% of what I was hoping for, and I spent about $510 total including tips. I've had much better results with $40 brow tinting, and I could do that every month for a year and still spend less money. read more

I've been wanting to do it for a very long time but could not find anyone with the experience or the great artistic technic it takes to create the perfect brow! DL has both!! His lounge is clean with a great atmosphere. He takes his time and takes pride in his work and it shows. I truly had a great experience and will use him in the future for all my brow needs! This was such a great experience! DL is very efficient thorough and skilled. The location is in a very nice office suite. Id been stalking this place on instagram for a while and knew I wanted my brows microbladed. I was used as a model for a trainee for my appointment. From start to finish DL made the process very pleasant. The studios were very clean and sterile, the staff was all nicely dressed, professional and welcoming. The process is about 2.5 hours. If you're considering microblading, you need to go, and you need to see Devin!! I feel like an entire different person, like my inner diva is finally out! I asked Devin if he could shade in my eyebrows and make an arch, and the finished product is amazing!! I've always wanted an arch in my eyebrows, and he 'manufactured' an arch with the microblading that I'm in love with. He did such a great job explaining things, I couldn't imagine anyone better. And the best part? It didn't even hurt!! He uses a numbing cream and I literally had to ask if he had started doing it because I felt something, though it didn't hurt. He also gives you this magic ball at the end, it resembles an EOS lip balm ball, but it's from Devin's personal line, and it's for the healing process of your brow. Devin also does custom pricing, which is unique and I'd assume most people, including myself, appreciate. Why pay a cookie cutter price for microblading when everyone's eyebrows are different? He gives everyone an individual price based on their level of need. Also, you don't have to go in for an estimate, you can text him a picture and he'll give it to you & hey, I love anyone who saves my time! It takes about two hours, which sounds crazy, but it doesn't seem like 2 hours go by when you're there. He takes the time to measure out the perfect measurements for your brows, and lets you see to agree or adjust before he starts the process. I am 18 years old and took a chance to get my brows microbladed by DL. He did a fantastic job of taking care of me and explaining the process to me and what I should look for. The process took about 2 hours with him measuring everything perfect before he started the process. His atmosphere was clean and modern. I felt very comfortable when I step foot inside his office. so disappointed with this the company. Made my appt. a month ago, placed my deposit with them. Drove to the Lawrence location and the door was locked. I kept calling and 15 minutes later a lady answered, she told me to come to the Carmel location. I then told her it would take me 30 minutes to drive back north. I then asked if they would still be able to take me and was told YES. Asked for directions and someone gave me the wrong directions. Called back someone else told me where. Got there 10 minutes later and was told to late. To l then told I had to re book at the end of July. My appt. was confirmed by email and nothing was mentioned about a change of location. Drove for over an hour for nothing. I asked for my deposit back and she had to check. I had such high hopes- but not any more. read more
