I just recently started getting my upper lip waxed as well, something I NEVER used to do because it is so painful. Of course, there's always some pain in getting waxed, but coming to Ero Edge has been one of the least painful waxing experiences I've had. Ryanne is so detail oriented, always making sure that my brows are the perfect shape and that she gets every last hair on my upper lip. My brows always look amazing when I leave. The studio itself is clean and beautiful, with a check in counter as you enter, a small shopping area to the left as you walk in featuring products from local woman-owned businesses, and a cute seating area with little snacks while you wait. Most people will pluck their eyebrows or wax, but if you go to Tulsa she will take good care of you. It was my first time in and I told her how nervous I was and made it very clear how picky I am about my eyebrows since I have had previous people accidentally make them too thin. She was very reassuring and made sure I could take a peek at the mirror to see if I wanted my brows to be thinner or thicker. Besides being so good at her job for doing this 20+ years she has a great personality. I stayed at the shop talking to her even longer then I would at other places who rush you out for the next client. I have never been so well treated before. Tulsa works everyday besides Sunday 10-7 in 123 (I believe). Be sure to tip her well she DESERVES it for how hard she works for this shop. P.S. Threading WILL hurt. There is no way to make threading "less painful" unless you become numb to it after several visits. If you want to complain about pain just do not do it! Tulsa has a numbing cream, I am not sure if it works but it definitely had a placebo effect on me! Request it if you need to. Use the Aloe Verde gel after. She was attentive to details, patient with all the questions I had and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this salon! EXPERIENCE:: It was my first time getting my brows microbladed/shaded and Jordan made sure I was comfortable with everything by explaining the process and telling me what she's doing step by step of the way. A very important part of the process was when she drew out the design of my brows. She asked me what I wanted and gave me the mirror to see it multiple times. She even sat me up to check on them since they can look a bit different when laying down. She was very patient and understanding even though I was staring at it for a while to find anything I might not like. She insisted that I be vocal about any changes I wanted. Whether it was a rounder arch, longer length, or if I thought one side was bigger than the other even though she used a tool to make sure it's measured out evenly. I loved that she was so keen on making sure I was 100% comfortable before moving on. Oh! She also does ombre and nano brows so be sure to consult with her what will look best for you! LOCATION/PARKING:: I didn't notice any big visible sign that said "Wink Aesthetics" on it, but it's literally across the street from a Maserati dealership. The outside of the building does have a sign that says "Namaste Massage by Bella". Looks like several businesses share the same building. Just go into that building and walk up the stairs, it's the first room to the left. Definitely recommend getting a sign! As for parking, I didn't see any lot so I just street parked. EXTRA EXTRA, Read all about it:: While she was showing me some pictures of brows, I noticed some pictures of pretty lashes on others and asked her if she does lashes too. And she does! She said she's relatively new so she's only charging $50 for a full set!!! $35 for touch ups. That's such a good deal and the pictures she showed me were really good too! She's charging such a low rate because it'll take her about 1.5 hours to finish, but once she gets faster and gain more experience, she'll raise her rates so take advantage of that now! Also, the glue that she uses is not only waterproof, but it's also oil and sweat proof! I'll definitely update my review when I get my lashes done.

She makes suggestions on what she thinks would look best. My eyebrows always come out just the way I want them. As you can see in my before photo, my eyebrows are extremely light and missing the tail end of the brows. I typically spend about $20 every few months on brow pencils only to shape them unevenly or draw them in too dark. I can finally just wake up and start my day with done color on my face. Vee did an amazing job with my brows. She explained everything from start to finish and sent me messages to help me prepare before and after the procedure. There's also lots of reminders and some paperwork to fill out prior to being seen. I love reminders so I appreciated all of them! The first visit was a free consult. Vee mapped/graphed my eyebrows and showed me what it will look like. She answers all of my questions professionally and even gave me her recommendations. I was really nervous on my second visit for the actual micro blading, but she helped make me feel comfortable. She's also got a killer playlist to help out you at ease. Not going to lie, the numbing cream didn't really help on my right eyebrow so I did feel every cut. I'm also that person where the dentist needs to inject me multiple times before he can do any work. If you're like me, ask to let it stay numb for an extra few minutes as this can really help. By the time she was done with my right eyebrow. The left eyebrow felt very little pain. There will be a little discomfort, but Vee does it for 3 seconds at a time. Trust me I counted lol. This experience was so worth it. I love it! It saves me so much time in the morning. Now I can sleep in before hopping on those early morning zoom meetings.
