This was the first time I'd allowed anyone but me to cut my hair in 2 and a half years, my last stylist didn't listen to what I wanted and left me botched. So coming in I was nervous but I knew I was in good hands before I was even getting shampooed. Eliza cut my hair and was very patient, listened to what I wanted and walked me through the haircut the whole time. She cut my hair in a way that accentuates my very slight natural wave and no matter what looks professional anytime I style it and looks effortless anytime I leave it natural to air dry. BLONDING I am very disappointed with this salon and have lost all trust in them. I booked an appointment two months ago and filled out the consultation form (which asked dumb questions about skincare, nailcare, etc. that didn't even relate to this appt.) they sent in an email. I signed up for blonding + haircut (4.5 hour appointment). I have NEVER been turned away by a salon before. Shana turned me away because she was not comfortable doing my hair, not knowing if it would turn out well and it would be costing me at least $350. It seemed like she was looking for a way out as soon as we started talking about my hair. I had signed up for a $150 deal for blonding + haircut. While I understand that longer lengths require more product, I had no idea she would triple the price on the day of the treatment. I was getting my hair done for my birthday, professional photos and a trip that I'd be taking in a few days (way too late to be able to book anywhere else). I have been getting professional highlights in my hair for years and I've never had an issue. I've never been told by a salon that I can't use boxed dye or that it would affect the dyeing process. They knew that I was a new customer because I signed up for a "new customer special." If there was ANY chance of them not being able to do my hair, the least they could have done was to ask me some of those questions in advance. I even called them to confirm my appointment and they didn't ask me anything . I asked her about just touching up the roots and doing highlights and she told me that it would cost the same, so she wouldn't do them. $350 for highlights? She wasn't willing to compromise or work with me at all, putting me in a huge bind for the plans I had made. I felt like the whole situation was very dishonest and there are several things that this salon could have done to make this a better experience. #1 they could have called me to find out more about my hair in advance to make sure it was a good fit. #2 in the online form I had to fill out online, they could have asked about "boxed dyes" previously used #3 they could be more realistic with their online pricing listed. Instead of "starts at $120" (which she said never happens), why not say "starts at $120, but will most likely cost $300-$400 per treatment and may require more than one treatment" For Shay, she left and it was another day for her. It was a huge deal for me (that's why I booked it two months ago) and she RUINED my weekend and plans. This was a very unprofessional situation and I am still surprised that she didn't feel like she had the expertise to do a good job and get it done (not even the highlights). I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Took my 12 year old for a simple trim and she walked out feeling like a million bucks!

my angel of a little sister went to this salon because she wanted to get her hair done by a professional since she had some bad experiences with students. she told them exactly what she wanted (Blonde highlights), made an appointment, and they gave her an entire 5 hour slot. When she got there, Amanda told her that she would not do my sisters hair. She said that she was way to experienced for her and that if my sister wanted blonde than she would have to pay over $400!!!!!! the entire salon was watching this interaction while my little sister was holding back tears. That is so insanely unprofessional. Amanda did not fail to mention that she was way out of my sisters price range, she was way to experienced for anything my sister could have wanted and that my little sister just simply could not afford the InCreDiBlEy TaLentED AmANdA. Honestly screw this place for sending my sister out into the parking lot, with the same hair she walked in with, and tears streaming down her cheeks. read more

one of my best friends got kicked out of this salon because "amanda was too experienced" for her and she "couldn't afford her expertise" seriously how stuck up do you have to be to send a girl crying out of your salon?? what's worse is that NO OTHER stylist stepped in to help!! y'all should be ashamed of yourselves! read more
