Wouldn't you know it - two guys slipped in ahead of me while I waited in the truck. Once inside, there are three folding chairs for waiting customers. A small restroom is behind the door and down a couple steps. As I waited my turn, the other two customers got their ears lowered in good time. Soon it was my turn. I sat in the barber chair, was draped, and the hair cutting began. It was a quick and efficient hair cut, and in the end, I looked human again! While in the chair, I noticed some old fashioned cuckoo clocks on the wall. Apparently he collects and repairs these clocks as a hobby when things are a little slow. Regular hair cuts are $12, but since I am old and decrepit, I was charged $10. I left a generous tip! I recommend!

Im sorry to see this awful review by Crystal C, what is even more awful is that the review is…read morecompletely false and over dramatic ! I was next in line to have my haircut that afternoon and was sitting in the styling chair when this took place !! The young (teenage) lady who had received the haircut and color seemed pleased with it and the haircut was done precisely how she had described ! The girl seemed happy and walked out just fine, that is when her older sister came rushing in the door , cursing and accusing Donna of giving her sister a bad cut/color !! 1. Do you think it is possible the teenage girl did not communicate thoroughly with the stylist ? 2. Is it plausible that after having nearly 1ft. of hair cut off that she may have been a bit shocked at her new look ? The new look in which she had asked for? After all young women can be a bit dramatic when it comes to their hair 3. Charging in the door to a salon , swearing and putting the stylist down would evoke defense from anyone ! I think Donna handled the situation very professionally! And it was only when Crystal threatened not to pay the nearly $70 bill , that Donna said she had the right to call the police! NOT THAT SHE WAS CALLING THE POLICE! I am sorry but everyone has received a haircut or color that they just weren't satisfied with. Just because a hairstyle looks good on a model in a magazine, doesn't mean it will look the same on you. This was a fine cut and color and this review by Crystal is an obviously biased slight at Donna and is unfair ! The only person left in tears was Donna, she felt awful that the girl was unsatisfied ! I have been having my haircut by Donna since I moved to Gold Beach in 1999. She is the only stylist in town I go to and she stands by her work and so do I. And if anyone thinks this is a fake review, call me. My name is John. 808-372-0161
