Her behavior continued and culminated in her literally laying hands on me to "pray for me". She did this when I was reclined and she was washing my hair making it difficult for me to physically stop her. I told her to stop as I didn't share her beliefs. Things started to get worse from this point. She even had her husband come into the salon to tell me I should appreciate that his wife was even doing my hair. This was not the only examples of her unprofessional behavior. I noticed she never let me watch her in the mirror and that a friend recently commented on how my hair was damaged in the back. She was always trying to give me medical advice on the use of vitamin supplements. She would ask me very personal financial questions and then started commenting on political issues. I finally told her I didn't share her opinions and asked her to not discuss politics. Then the final straw was when she asked me if my values caused problems with my children and grandchildren! I was actually shocked that she would ask such a judgemental question!! The implication was clear - I must have no values or morals since I didn't agree with her religion and political views. And mind you I never talked about religion or politics. A beautician should not give out medical advice on the use of vitamin supplements and should NEVER lay their hands on you and start praying for you. This is NEVER ok.

I made an appointment through Morgan the new owner to see stylist Kaylie for their required consultation prior to having a service appointment. Four days prior to this appointment, I immediately notified Morgan through her message app (which by the way has a grammer error) that I had to cancel due to a work related schedule change. I asked Morgan two questions. One do you use the Redkin color line? Or what is your current color line? And do you have some place to direct me to see current portfolio pictures of Kaylie's work? I only see on YELP pictures advertising Stephanie's work, and she is no longer there. Not all stylist's artist abilities are the same when it comes to doing ice blond high / low light coloring. Morgan keep sending reminder notices for my approaching appointment, so I politely sent her another notice again letting her know I had to unfortunately cancel. I few days later I got a curt response telling me Kaylie is going out on maternity leave and she has no openings. After three emails Morgan never answered my other questions. If you want people to respect you and your business than you have to be respectful back. Our time is just as valuable as your time. If you are asking people to spend hundreds of dollars at your salon for services than you have to be able to show current portfolio pictures of your work not other people's work. The treatment I recieved left me feeling that because I wasn't someone they could immediately make money off of I now was not even worthy to respond back too. That is not professional nor nice.
