I made an appointment through Morgan the new owner to see stylist Kaylie for their required consultation prior to having a service appointment. Four days prior to this appointment, I immediately notified Morgan through her message app (which by the way has a grammer error) that I had to cancel due to a work related schedule change. I asked Morgan two questions. One do you use the Redkin color line? Or what is your current color line? And do you have some place to direct me to see current portfolio pictures of Kaylie's work? I only see on YELP pictures advertising Stephanie's work, and she is no longer there. Not all stylist's artist abilities are the same when it comes to doing ice blond high / low light coloring. Morgan keep sending reminder notices for my approaching appointment, so I politely sent her another notice again letting her know I had to unfortunately cancel. I few days later I got a curt response telling me Kaylie is going out on maternity leave and she has no openings. After three emails Morgan never answered my other questions. If you want people to respect you and your business than you have to be respectful back. Our time is just as valuable as your time. If you are asking people to spend hundreds of dollars at your salon for services than you have to be able to show current portfolio pictures of your work not other people's work. The treatment I recieved left me feeling that because I wasn't someone they could immediately make money off of I now was not even worthy to respond back too. That is not professional nor nice.

Always tipped well, and am…read morecareful to have my feet 'prepped' ahead of the pedi (clean feet, callouses removed, nails trimmed). And I do not have nail fungus. Recently, I called to request a color change appt. The owner/technician answered the phone; and when I requested an appt., she brusquely replied, something like, "I have to clean the foot basin." And then hung up before I could say anything. Puzzled and thinking I may have called at an inconvenient time, I thought she might return my call to schedule an appt. She has caller ID on her phone and could have done so. However, she did not. Which in the overall 'picture' is fine with me. I only returned to her because she works faster than others I've been to. And her shop is clean. But the experience is not relaxing - at all. Because she talks *non-stop* throughout the entire encounter. Furthermore, the last time I was there, she cut my great toe while prepping it for new polish (I did not comment on that to her). A cut so deep it took some time to heal. Of note, at my last visit there, in the course of her non-stop dialogue, she mentioned she doesn't have to work; and she selects her customers. ‍ Despite my intention to be an accommodating, non-demanding customer, apparently, I didn't 'make the cut' or rather, I was 'cut'. Which truly is best. Customer's beware - in the event this should happen to you.
