She also has good employees doing great, as I saw while getting my pedicure. I came in with just a phone calls notice. Hubby had sent me as a Birthday gift. I wasn't sure where, in the mall, it was. It was right in the middle. Easy to find in mall, with good signage. Rosie started me right away, after greeting me with a beautiful smile. She sat me in a massage chair as she put fresh water and my feet into the pedi tub. Then she adjusted my chair just right and turned on the massagers. Sweeeet! So relaxing. My pedicure included all the bells and whistles: a large choice of colors, sterilized tools, and plenty of pampering -including a wax dip, and a leg rub with yummy lotion. Fantastic!!! As she and I were chatting, she learned it was my Birthday pedicure. So, she added a pretty hand painted design and gifted me some cute flipflops (she has them available for just a dollar, normally). While my feet were under the drying light, ladies walking in the mall stopped by to say hello. They were customers and obviously adore Rosie. They called her "cookie"! She treated them as friends. MY REVIEW: This shop was wonderful, and I absolutely intend on going back. The work stations were very clean, the techs were very efficient, very thorough and very talented. My tech, Linda, helped recommend colors and even did a little artwork on my toes that looks awesome. The entire pedicure, from the trim to the scrub/leg massage to the final painting was a great experience. I happily give them 5 stars! My observation while in the shop: There were a lot of people being served in the shop and I noticed that those who were there to enjoy themselves, did just that. Yes, we had appointments, yes they were running a little late, so what? Those girls were working as fast as they could and still were treating each client as if they were the only person in there while working on them. There was one lady in particular who came in right at 7 pm without an appointment and from the moment she approached the nice lady at the front desk to the the techs performing the work she talked down to everyone in the shop. I was furious to see how this lady talked down to these techs. She was demanding and rude even though they had worked her and her 2 children in at closing time without an appointment, and the shop had graciously accommodated them. My takeaway is this. You cannot please everyone, and it's the people who are not happy in general who will look for a reason to dislike a business and they are usually the people who take the time to write a review.
