(mid ranged price ) Just to let you know: on my last visit, it looked like the UNITED NATIONS in there: All walks of life leaving with a smile! This is a down home, small intimate bakery with a huge kitchen in the back. No fancy ambiance, just lovely foods stacked up and a place to do custom ordering.... There were not a lot of items available due to most of the sweet treats having been sold because of Mother's Day. We grabbed a six pack of beautifully decorated cupcakes which included red velvet, Dubai style, banana and chocolate. The cupcakes were moist and flavorful. I also picked up a small banana pudding which was so good with layers of fresh bananas and vanilla wafers. The venue also has a cupcake food truck which is available for parties and events. The Standouts: Rainbow cookies, which they keep in the fridge. The jam was good and the cakes were moist, but like most other bakeries, it is pretty dense. The chocolate ganache is exactly what you'd expect. The Mehs: Lemon cookie was dry and didn't have that much flavour; neither did the "crackled" cocoa cookie which was incredibly dry. The lintzer tart cookie was too thick for my liking, and the jam was overly sweet and runny -- I prefer it to be more viscous and have more seeds. All in all, completely acceptable but I'll have to try more things to get a better sense of Delite's offerings.
