mango, passionfruit, watermelon (in order left to right)
    Michelle L.

A great stop in Oahu's Chinatown for a refreshing drink! We tried the mango, passionfruit, and watermelon flavors! My favorite was the passionfruit, but all of them were very tasty. We saw them use fresh mango and watermelon in the drinks which you can definitely taste (they don't taste artificially flavored). Texturally, these had the perfect slushy consistency. Sizes are large. There are tables with umbrellas conveniently located right next to Mickey Cafe. Overall, I would return!

A little spot in Maunakea Marketplace that offers fresh fruit smoothies, milk or ice tea, and Udon. This our favorite spot for mommy and son son's favorite and healthier mango and lychee smoothie. We always order ours without the sugar and it still loaded with cold and sweet mango.

I typically order from Chau's at the N Hotel St entrance of Maunakea Marketplace. But sometimes, I get impatient with waiting on their lines which led me to coming to Mickey Cafe. FOOD -- They offer many drinks including fresh fruit smoothies, coffee, and fruit flavored teas. I got the strawberry smoothie and I was quite satisfied with my order. I also tried my friend's calamansi green tea and I liked it, but I wish it was sweeter. I very much appreciated the usage of real fresh fruit in making the smoothies. The drinks are also large! SERVICE -- Service is quick and easy. It seems to be an older couple that are working here. They are friendly and efficient. Got my drink within five minutes of ordering. The second time I visited this place, I got my order ready in less than two minutes of ordering - WOW! The merchant usually skips the tipping option on their clover machine. AMBIANCE -- This place is located in the middle of a plaza in Maunakea Marketplace. There are tables with seats and umbrellas reserved for customers to consume the food. When I came there on a Sunday noon, there were elderly men performing at the plaza. The place seemed lively.

Very cute stand in Chinatown. I had the fresh sugar cane juice light ice, and they still filled the cup all the way. Was sweet and refreshing. My friend had their seasonal sour sop slush which she loved! Definitely recommend, and their workers are sweet people.

DELICIOUS boba smoothies. Always get taro coconut with boba. Perfect chewiness. The owner is so kind and her prices are on point. A great dessert for the drive home after eating in the Maunakea food court.

One and a half stars. I ordered a milk tea with boba. They come in one size and they cost $5. You can charge with a minimum of $5 so it was perfect since I rarely have cash on me anymore. So it didn't take much time for them to make my tea. I think that the tea flavor was so weak and the boba was over cooked. All in all i think I should have stuck to possibly a smoothie instead. Fruit is always good. They are friendly though and I cooled down, so I accomplished my goal

Mickey café is a small stand located in Chinatown that serves Smoothies and Boba drinks. We just happen to come across it while we were shopping. My daughter was thirsty so we decided to get some smoothies. She ordered the watermelon smoothie I ordered the mango smoothie. Cost is $5 each. When I checked in on the Yelp app it mentioned 10% off your order, however they do not except their own offer. The smoothies tasted OK. We got them with the Boba, nothing that stands out. Service was average. Would not go out of my way to come back.

One of the best mango green teas I've had. Good price and refreshing. Friendly owners/workers. Fast service

We always love stopping by Mickys Cafe in Maunakea Marketplace for a smoothie break when in Chinatown. You can really taste the difference compared to other places.

There are several things that turn me off from returning. The owner does not accept his 10% off Yelp check-in offer. I really dislike owners that don't honor advertised offers. If you no longer offer it, take it down. I ordered a custom mango coconut smoothie. I was charged $6.00, a dollar more than regular smoothies with only one favor. I can't believe this small stall charges more than a lot of nice and clean cafes in town. I gave $20 cash and he handed me back $15 then snatched it back out of my hand to give me $14. Ugh. Lastly, I asked for no boba but was given boba. They put some of the smoothie out of the boba cup into a new cup and added a bit more smoothie. I found the smoothie to be too sweet. Not sure how much real fruit is used in proportion to artificial stuff. I'd rather go to Shaka Shaka, Cheese Tea, Hana Tea, Wave Tea, or Friend Cafe for friendlier service and a cleaner environment.

My mini me and her BFF gave me their review of this place. They both really like their drinks and how fast they got their drinks. Mini me got the Bubble milk tea with boba and her BFF got the Passionfruit black tea. The place they found this a lot of the places take cash only but this place actually accepted both cash and cards. The drinks were a good size and cheap while not sacrificing taste.

Business is located outside of food court. Per customer in front, he said that business uses fresh fruit in drinks and smoothies unlike the other business on left who uses powder flavor. The menu include drinks and entree and cost is somewhat pricey. My friend order sugar cane drink. I ordered lychee smoothie with pieces of lychee. After a couple of hours, the smoothie had 2 layers because I can only assume that there is no fresh fruit and it is was powder.

Oh Gosh!! Their Sugar Cane Slush is a bomb!!!! My husband and I drove to Chinatown only to get this slush two times during our trip!!! Love this refreshing taste! Not too sweet but sweet! Very unique taste at the end. I really miss this sugar cane slush!!

Sadly, it seemed more folks were there for the pastries though. First off, I'm surprised I found such a fabulous cup of coffee in what feels like the epicenter of tourist life on this island. While visiting another island nearly establishment had signage stating they served Kona and/or Hawaiian coffee, but nearly every establishment's coffee was absolutely awful. Seeing the location I fully expected them to phone in the coffee, but it's clear that coffee comes first here, even if many of the guests are trying to get pastries! You'll be shocked by the line, but just know the staff is efficient and it moves fast. They offer a variety of their own locally roasted beans here, with options for batch brew, espresso drinks and even pour overs (impressive considering the volume of customers). The coffees are well described and the baristas have the additional knowledge you may be seeking when you order, and all in all this went as quickly as I could have expected. Truly, the coffee was delightful, and the fact I was drinking a hot drink on an extremely hot day didn't even phase me. I wanted so badly to bring home a bag of each one, but given that everything is more expensive in Hawaii, these were all 4x the price of the specialty coffee I buy on the mainland and I just couldn't make it happen. What will happen is me telling everyone to visit this shop when they're in Hawaii because it is 100% worth it. Won't you consider opening one in Reno NV?
