Came in with a group of 4 who was extremely hungry. We were seated pretty quickly for a Sunday. Honestly our table was not big enough for the amount we ordered! We ordered about $160 worth of food all at once. I really enjoyed the appetizers of the martini shrimp and then salmon puff. The texture of the salmon puff was a little weird to me because it was kinda noodley, which I was not expecting but great flavor none the less. The martini shrimp, was crispy and came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I didn't like the jalapeño fritters though. It was crispy, but tasted so bland. Personally I think it needed more cream cheese. Most of the rolls were pretty solid. I did enjoy the fire island and the crunchy tuna roll. The angel roll was probably one of my favorite rolls that we ordered. I do kinda wish that our waitress split the amount of food we ordered to come out at different times because everything came out at one time, but she was good at refilling our waters and checking in on us. I personally didn't enjoy any of their sashimi, just the sushi rolls. I do think they're pretty pricey for a OKAY sushi place, every roll is at least $14-$20 bucks and the main reason we came is because we had a $150 worth in coupons from their anniversary deals. Never had anything like this, it was fantastic mix of salmon and crab mixed with cream cheese, baked. No rice or other wrap / filling. If you like salmon- you need to try this! OrderedOrdered a roll wanted them to substitute snow crab, got king crab and only on half a roll and they wanted to charge me an additional seven dollars. I am tempted to give this place 5 stars. I am a sushi snob. I don't eat it everywhere. However, it was well prepared and fresh. I loved the creativity in the rolls and appetizers. The service is excellent. I had a c2 roll which was amazing and a crashimi plate. The crashimi plate is similar to the sashimi with the addition of rice. The rice was topped with some type of red pickled peppers (sweet not hot) which really set off the flavors. I'm looking forward to going back and perhaps raising my review to 5 stars.
