Ordered the Appetizer sampler, shrimp fried rice and hot spicy chicken. The appetizer plate was simply old food that was warmed or refried. The food tasted like it was fried multiple times and days old. The crab Rangoon cream had no crab just mayonnaise substance. The saving grace for this place was their lunch specials and that my mother in law liked her shrimp fried rice. The hot and spicy chicken was fine but the fried rice that came with it was hard. The soups were fine as well. All in all, this place was average and I gave it 3 stars because it was cheap and their lunch specials weren't completely bad. we saw the reviews online and it looked good. But it seems the owners of this restaurant are more concerned about germs than they are about service to their customers. We wanted to eat in the restaurant, because we were staying in a hotel we wanted drinks with ice but they had no cups. They all wore masks and instead of having, the ability to serve you at the table they just gave you takeout to eat at the table. it was all a bit rude so I would give the service a very low rating. The food was decent but not great. It probably would've been better if served plates like a traditional restaurant. On this day, I checked yelp for a place nearby and found Michiru. I loved it and they were consistent with all of the items. This is one of my favorite Asian takeout restaurants in the area. Located in a strip mall next to the fire station, it may seem like a hole in the wall but it is not. It is very clean and small. It does not smell bad when you walk in (yes, this is a thing at some establishments). Pro tip: Come during lunch, the lunch deals are great. My favorite dish is the hibachi shrimp and scallops. It tastes fresh and they do not seem to be perturbed by my modifications (no vegetables, so not extreme). Their fried rice is delicious, its not greasy, the rice is not hard. The seafood and rice both taste fresh. My husband likes the teriyaki chicken and the orange chicken. They also have chicken egg rolls which is kind of hard to find as most times its pork or just vegetables. I hope this place sticks around. read more

We have loved this place for a while but tonight was a big disappointment that solidified some of our questions over the last couple visits. I cannot verify this but our guess is new ownership or management. First the hours changed, now website and online ordering is different, and the food has completely changed. Despite being slightly more expensive than before, the egg rolls are smaller and more bland, the Kung pao sauce is less flavorful yet more salty and the overall experience is not as good. Michiru is the jam for cheap Chinese takeout or delivery (GrubHub!). We have lived in the area for almost 8 years, and were really bummed when Lee's Golden Buddha #7 closed their doors. It was challenging to find a tasty cheap spot in the area. Michiru recently opened on South Cobb, across from Jim N Nick's/Sprouts. They are QUICK when it comes to calling in an order to pick up, and the food is still nice and hot if you choose delivery instead. Their items are also consistently good. We tend to get the pork dumplings, crab rangoons and Mongolian Trio pretty often, and they are always on point. Seriously, give them a try!
