Only 4 miles from downtown, so it is very convenient location. Why pay downtown prices and parking fees? Room was spacious. Pillows were super soft. (I personally am not a fan of the lumpy pillow, but my husband loved them!) Breakfast area was a little congested. They cram everything into one are making it difficult to navigate around other guests. Fitness room is spacious. They also have laundry right in the fitness area. Great experience.

I stay in hotels on average 7-8 nights/mo for work. I stay at a lot of Marriotts, DoubleTrees, Sheratons, and the like. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated having a ceramic coffee cup in my room for coffee in the morning!! Sad to say it's become a rarity. 99% of the hotels I stay at provide all the necessities to brew a fresh cup in the morning, but only a cardboard cup to "enjoy" it. I was also thrilled with the water pressure in the shower. The glass shower doors/walls were spotless (How? Seriously, How do they do that??). The shower was spacious. The best part was the water pressure! Everything else was good. The room was clean, with plenty of room, good lighting, a full couch plus 2 double beds. The view was nice. It was DT so I was looking at another building but it was architecturally gorgeous. The bar was clean, spacious and inviting. Not many good options but you can go out the door and right next door is a great restaurant called Tupelo Honey. Bottom Line: it meets all my overnight business/casual travel stay needs AND I get to enjoy a great shower and a real CUP of coffee.

The rooms were great and exactly as described by their website. There was a ton of lighting in the bathroom. Along with a lot of counter space to spread out your bathroom items. It was also really nice to have ample hooks to hang up clothes around the room. You could not hear other rooms; which is always a concern in hotels. I'm gluten free (not celiac but allergic to gluten). I'm always looking for breakfasts where I can eat more then eggs, meat, fruit and yogurt. One of the options was Udi's Gluten Free Blueberry muffins. That really made my day. The staff member who was in charge of managing the breakfast area paid attention and kept everything full. They also packaged the bags so full that the bags busted open and the food was unusable. But they won't take responsibility for that either--as they "aren't responsible for food after they leave." That was such a huge weight off our shoulders. The Catering Co was amazing!…read more While searching for caterers for our wedding, we came upon The Catering Co through suggestions by friends. The Catering Co absolutely made our wedding incredible. The food was amazing (we got great reviews from our guests concerning the Demi glacé steak), and their service was exceptional. Everything was on time and cooked well- down to even the chicken! I was hesitant having chicken breast as an entree (as usually it gets overcooked and tough) but they did an excellent job and the chicken was super moist! We also thought they did an excellent job with vegetarian options as well (we opted for a risotto- it was definitely well liked!). They also did not charge for split entrees (unlike other caterers), so that was an added plus. Also, Cassidy was amazing to work with, as she had lightning fast replies and was absolutely thorough with everything. While I was correcting our on site coordinator, Cassidy was flawless with the catering- I didn't need to worry about it at all. Also, I had some unforeseen deaths and sicknesses that occurred suddenly in my family, and the Catering Co was super understanding of the situation, willing to work with it. That's real heart- and a true passion for what they do. They also have a chef who's a chocolatier that can make amazing chocolate desserts- oh it's so worth it!
