But their service didn't stop at selling us a home insurance -- about 9 months later, they called and alerted us that All State was issuing contracts in my area, and the policies were better than what we had, including price. I was surprised and grateful that they would take the initiative to serve their customers by looking out for their benefits! We then also transferred our auto insurance over to CST in one big bundle. They ask when policy like to be start, of course, continue with when old policy ended, so there would be no gap in between, I even send them copy of my old policy with their request. A week later declaration of policy come - with 4 days earlier than old policy end. So, I call them pointed out mistake, sure they said they will take care it, no way, not only I have to call time to time to check progress, 2 month later solution is cancelling the one with wrong date and start new policy and I need to pay extra for 4 days of difference. What a drag, they purposely drag the time to respond so make you stay on, not to cancels policy even they know the mistake was made. I have to be the one pays the problem you created by your carelessness, what a sham, Way they handle the mistake totally shows how they care about their client. How if when time comes really needs to claim through policy, you are doom, cos they don't give dame. You can skip this company, plenty other companies doing much better job then they do.

She doesn't try to sell you anything, she gives you…read moreall the options that's relevant for you, and let you make your own decision rather than pushing you to buy a more expensive premium to make more commission. We made an appointment to inquire about life insurance on Saturday as we usually work on weekdays and when we arrived, she quickly settled us in. We were there for more than an hour and I did feel bad because it seems like her and her son had to be somewhere but were stranded here because of us. But she did not make us feel uncomfortable or rushed us or anything, instead she was very professional. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

She helped me get insurance Sept 2016 and initially seemed pretty helpful and nice. She had a quote from Mercury for me and then I realized that I might qualify for additional discount because of a credential I hold. She told me she can't update the quote since there's an existing one but once I accept it, she can talk to the underwriter and change it. I should have known better but since she was referred to me by a friend, I trusted her. So, I accepted the quote. After that, she stopped responding to any follow ups from me about the possible credential discount. (Not even "Hey, I looked but looks like it won't qualify you.") I let it go because the premium wasn't super high anyways and because she's a friend of a friend. So at the time she had also told me I have to keep the policy for one year before I could cancel it. So fast forward to now, I am canceling my policy. Her coworker, Susanna, helps me (Susanna is actually quite nice). I cancel on 17th and premium is still deducted on the 20th. Susanna ends up having to tell me I can't get the premium back because of the cancellation fee because it takes Mercury a few days to process the cancellation. As we talk about this and I am getting upset that I wasn't told about this cancellation policy, Susanna turns the phone call over to Sharon since it was Sharon who initially sold the policy to me. Sharon and I debate and argue over this because she never mentioned about a cancellation fee except for if I didn't keep my policy for at least one year. At some point she tells me that if she goes to buy new insurance, she would have asked about any cancellation policy. So apparently it's my fault for not knowing clearly when she said just keep one year and after that you can cancel. Anyways, she ends the phone call with, so are you cancelling? I told her I already canceled and she said: "Okay then, I can't help you." And hangs on up me.
