    I have been a State Farm customer for 35 to 40 years. I have auto, rental homes, an umbrella…read morepolicy and my personal home covered with State Farm. The great part about Kyle's office is that if you call during normal business hours there are a number of employees that are more than willing to help. If they don't have an answer they will call you back with the correct information, usually that day. For me this is a big plus as my last State Farm Agent only had an answer machine and would call me back, sometimes days later. Appointments had to be made to discuss insurance matters 2, 3 and 4 weeks down the road, but not with Kyle's office you can get same day answers. The downside with State Farm and I guess with all insurance companies is that for the last 5 plus years they no longer insure homes (rental or primary) in Big Bear, CA. and homeowners must use CA. Fair Plan and a wraparound policy at a much higher cost. Some of my neighbors have just had policies cancelled no matter how long they have had with these companies. While our coverage cost has gone up dramatically at least were not getting cancelled. Ralph S. Big Bear City, CA.

    It has taken me some time to write this. My family has been with this agency for over 25 years. My…read morefather had an accident (he was 96 years old at the time) a company truck rear ended him really badly. My dad received nothing more than what he was entitled too. He could have gone for the gold. Two homes insured with them over 25 years. Never a claim. 5 cars insured also. I had a expired tag ticket and it cost me a lot of money for 3 years. I then had my car and aunts car on same policy. We missed ONE payment and they dropped us and said they couldn't insure us. After 25 plus years?? After my aunt passed away I asked to have the policy in my name as I inherited the house and had all correct documentation. I was once again met with they would be unable to receive the policy. Same baloney story. All the claims made due to fires etc. what does that have to do with me. Never missed a payment in 25 plus years. So they were kind enough to find me a policy with bamboo insurance. Guess they didn't have the same problems other California companies were having. So my policy goes from 1200 a year to 2200 a year. So much for loyalty and referrals to pyle insurance. I shudder at the amount of money my family has paid them and this is how they thank us.

Mercury/Pyle recently changed…read moretheir homeowner's insurance requirements and notified me that my homeowner's insurance would be canceled unless I provided proof with permits that my electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and roof have been updated recently. As my home was built in the 50s, many of these systems were updated but no permits were pulled. Mercury / Pile explained that I must pay an out-of-pocket home inspection report and the report must come back clean for my insurance to be reinstated. The frustrating part is that Mercury/Pyle sent an in-person inspector and approved my home for insurance when I started the policy a year and a half ago. I am extremely disappointed with being blindsided by this cancellation. I would have never signed on with Mercury/Pyle if I knew these changes were coming. I advise anyone possible to avoid this insurance company until their practices change.
