TLDR: AMAZING results from my mastopexy + breast augmentation revision My experience with Austin Cosmetic Surgery has been phenomenal, truly exceeding all my expectations- which were high! I had a mastopexy + breast augmentation performed by a different surgeon several years ago, resulting in an aesthetically unfavorable outcome and capsular contractures. I knew my revision would be somewhat complex and sought out multiple consultations. I knew I wanted Dr. Michelle Cabret to be my surgeon within the first few moments of meeting with her. She was patient, very friendly, and courteous. I felt comfortable telling her why I was seeking a revision. She quickly identified how she could help me and developed a plan based on my goals. Roshana, the patient care coordinator, was fantastic and ensured I had all my questions answered and made me feel very comfortable asking all 1000 of them. She was there for me every step of the way (she's hilarious and super upbeat, a real gem of a person). During my second consult, I brought my husband along (an ER physician), who was very apprehensive and nervous. Dr. Cabret handled the meeting like a champ and really comforted him. I was given a phone number I could text anytime with questions, which was incredibly helpful and so valuable. As a healthcare provider, I know just enough about this surgery to make me a little needy and overly analytical; I never felt like a bother and felt encouraged to ask away, even at 10 pm on a Tuesday. I was provided literature with explicit, clear directions for pre and post-operative precautions, recommendations, and suggestions and felt it was very comprehensive. Everyone made me feel calm and comfortable on surgery day- especially Roshana, Dr. Cabret, and my nurse ( I believe her name is Vanessa). Haley, the OR coordinator, is a pleasure to be around and has been super helpful during my post-op meetings, and is very knowledgeable. The anesthesiologist was also wonderful, helpful, and thorough. My recovery has been SIGNIFICANTLY better than last time, less painful and I was up walking and living my life basically that night and off pain meds 2 days later. I LOVE that Dr. Cabret schedules multiple post-op meetings in which she is present. The rest of the staff is always cheerful and professional, like Alizia, the business administrator who sits at the front desk. The BEST part: I literally have my dream boobs! I did not think it was possible for my boobs to ever look like this because I had been told by other surgeons it would be challenging/impossible due to my natural anatomy. My experience with Dr. Michelle Cabret and her team was life changing. My journey to Dr. Michelle was long and challenging. My best friend and I got implants in 2003 about 4 months apart from each other. They were saline, under the muscle, and through my armpit with almost no visible scar. I loved them. Then, I started getting sick. My best friend still has hers and has never had any issues. After years of doctors, treatments, and medications; I learned about Breast Implant Illness. At this point I had hypothyroidism, carpal tunnel in both wrists, ulcerative colitis, asthma, allergies, and rheumatoid arthritis (along with dry skin, dental issues, hair falling out, fatigue, and severe anxiety with depression). The doctors had me on steroids for four years and I gained 100 pounds. I spoke to three plastic surgeons to have my implants removed and they said either they didn't believe I was sick because of the implants or I was too high risk to operate on. I can't share enough about how much I love my choice to put my health and wellness in the hands of Dr. Michelle. In January 2023, I was in a serious motorcycle accident that crushed my nose and caused a number of deep scars on my face among other non-cosmetic issues. To say the least, I was emotionally traumatized. I flew half-way around the world and within 10hrs of landing in the US, found myself in a consultation with Dr. Michelle to fix my nose. Not only did Dr. Michelle, Ashley, Sierra and Yvonne make me feel like everything was going to be fine, they made me feel safe and understood. Dr Michelle gladly took me as a patient after I requested her assistance as her ex- did a horrible botched up job on my surgery and first revision. I had dog ear flaps on each side of my breast and abdomen. My breast were asymmetrical. I was embarrassed and very disappointed with my results. I'm glad that he's no longer at the DC Ranch site or with the group. My husband supported me through the whole process. He has since passed, and my greatest regret is that he isn't here to see the magic that Dr Michelle Cabret was able to perform after her ex's screw-up. In reading the negative review, and looking at her photos. First thing that came to my mind, was this person obviously did not adhere to her post surgical instructions. I'm a healthcare professional, and worked in surgical areas through out my career, one can easily tell when a person is non-compliant. This person obviously was non-compliant. A surgeon can reconstruct your breast and abdomen. However, it is the patients responsibility to maintain the results and strictly adhere to the staff and physicians orders and post surgical instructions. I only trust Dr. Michelle to place my dental implants! She is down to earth, highly intelligent and an exceptional surgeon! Dr. Michelle placed my first dental implant about 8 years ago and I've had no problems with it. My husband has also gotten a few dental implants and all have been successful! This week she has placed two dental implants in the same day. I am on day 2 after surgery and healing great! I actually traveled out of state to see Dr. Michelle... she listens to her patients and trusts what they feel! I clinically had "no fracture" in my tooth according to other oral surgeons and dentists looking at the x rays... long story short, Dr. Michelle extracted both teeth, looked at the tooth and told me, "Not in your head, the fracture is there!" I've now had 2 major surgeries with Dr. Cabret, and I've been blown away with how great the results were and how amazing the doctors and staff are. This place is truly a gem. Dr. Cabret is hands down amazing and offers some really advanced procedures that few doctors offer. The procedures I had done required artistry to get right, and Dr. Cabret nailed it. I was very nervous beforehand because I was unsure of how the results would turn out, and Dr. Cabret and her staff went way above and beyond to be reassuring and accommodating of all my anxieties. The staff is all amazing as well. I opted to stay overnight for my second procedure, and they all took great care of me. Despite me not being at my best after the surgery, they made me feel super comfortable and took really great care of me. The surgery is done at a surgical center on site, which is really convenient compared to other surgeries I've had where you have to deal with a separate surgical center. Another thing that stands out is that I've never had any complications or collateral damage from my procedures there. In past surgeries, it seems like I always wake up with random bruises, eye issues, nausea from anesthesia, and even catheter trauma in one particularly bad case. Dr. Michelle is all around amazing! After going to many consultations I finally decided to get my breast augmentation and lift with her. Many male drs could not have done what she did to me they even said themselves it was not possible. I was nervous about the scar on my breast but with her skills and technique she was able to cut a lollipop shape for the lift instead of the full anchor. (Male drs told me they were not able to do this based on how saggy my breast were). I also wanted a big c cup but based on my height and body shape she suggested a bigger size which I was beyond happy she did advice on a bigger size. This too the male drs I went to did not advise me on anything plus they said I could not go bigger than a c cup but Dr Michelle made it possible!
