For me, that means that for every day in between my five weeks appointment schedule, all I had to do was shower, dry my hair, run a brush through it and it looked great all throughout the day. No product to hold the style or anything else but shampoo, conditioner and an occasional brushing. As a man, that is my holy grail of a haircut. My hair is moderately thick and wavy. The longer it gets the more the waves turn to curls. Over the years I have found that when searching for a new stylist I needed to ask if they cut a lot of wavy hair and did they use a clipper or scissor cut. The stylists who did the best job always did scissor cuts. Of course Sara needed to work through a few cuts before ridding my hair from the effects of previously poor cuts; but once she did, it has been heaven ever since. A half hour once every five weeks and that is all the time needed to look my best all the time. Thank you Sara!!

In my experience, many items packaged under the practice's label or sourced from well-known brands are not exclusive formulations, despite how they may be presented. I've also noticed some confusion around provider credentials. For example, not everyone seeing patients is a board-certified dermatologist, even if they are highly capable clinicians such as nurse practitioners working under physician supervision. That distinction matters to me, particularly for annual skin exams or more complex concerns, and I believe patients should feel empowered to ask directly about the qualifications of the person treating them. Finally, the practice appears to be expanding into offering more procedures in-house, including skin cancer-related surgeries. While convenience can be valuable, I personally feel more comfortable being referred to highly experienced specialists for these types of procedures. Others may feel differently, but it's an important consideration when weighing where to receive care. To be clear, this office can still be a solid option for routine checks or minor concerns, especially if you are comfortable setting boundaries around product purchases. However, I would advise patients to stay informed, ask questions, and make decisions that prioritize both their health and financial transparency. In short: competent care is available here, but it's wise to approach recommendations--particularly around products and procedures--with a thoughtful and informed perspective.

Two days ago I stumbled upon this salon at their pop up at the BottleRock Festival. The owner did my hair and it was the best blow out I've ever had! Usually my hair gets really oily if I don't wash it for 24 hours but I'm on the third day and my hair still looks fabulous!! Michele added a lot of umpf and volume to my hair which is usually flat and straight. I haven't been to her main salon on Hunt Avenue is St. Helena but I can't wait to go to try more of their services! Would 10/10 recommend! Thank you guys so much :) read more

Bathroom cleanliness made me wonder how clean they are with everything else. It was clean enough but did seem like it was a little neglected. Lesson I learned: if salon makes you feel uneasy in some way, even just a little, it's ok to cancel and leave! Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. If I can do a better job with my nails at home, and if I have to go in and fix the nail tech's work, it's a big no for me!
