When we decided to start again, we trasnferred our records over to Poma and really appreciated the process. The online portal system worked well for us and the nurses are super quick to respond. All of the staff that we worked with, from front desk, blood draws, exams, retrieval, and transfers, were all very professional and patient with my questions. Sometimes the doctors were quick during a scan, but I always felt the nurses were available for clarification on questions. I appreciated that they are open everyday of the week, because they know that your cycle isn't going to align with a work week. Paying out of pocket seemed to be the only frustrating thing, as sometimes you get a bill for something that happened months ago. The online portal to pay is easy though, so no issues. Also, keep in mind that medications are always extra. Add about $5k to the amount they quote, but definitely use the online pharmacy and rebate programs they recommend. Ending with a pregnancy is a success in my book.

This isn't entirely their fault but I really wish it was more normalized to ask if it's ok to have a doctor of the opposite sex for your reproductive health care. Because I was uncomfortable to be thrown into a room for my consult with a male doctor. Not his fault, he was great and very professional... I just personally have a huge trauma issue with it and I would of appreciated being asked first out of curtesy because I'm sure there's millions of other woman with this request as well. Even though the male doctor I had was professional and very knowledgeable on everything... I told him twice I did not want to proceed with any treatment or testing at this time. And that my husband and I want to focus on his testing first as it was much easier and cheaper to do for now. But regardless of being asked twice in person, I was also email about it twice. Feels very pushy and weird. After my husband had his tests done it took 2.5 weeks, 4-5 phone unanswered phone calls, 2 voicemails and 1 portal message to get a response.... Absolutely not ok. And finally when they did upload his results to the portal (which is horrible to navigate btw)... it gave very vague information to where they told him he had to come in and make another appointment just for them to explain that he was fine.... Overall: - The client portal is so hard to use and not helpful at all. - the environment for me felt pushy and disrespectful - the communication between staff and client is HORRIBLE - completely disorganized staff This is a very vulnerable field of medicine. And as the client you HAVE to feel safe and comfortable with all the things that go along with fertility and reproductive care.... At the end of the day I did not feel that even slightly. Will not ever go back to them.

First of all, sending strength to those who have to be in the position to look up reviews for a…read morefertility clinic in the first place. We decided to go with Sound because it was one of the clinics contracted with our insurance. We are so very thankful that we did. Because the clinic is smaller and all Sound patients see Dr. Lin you don't feel like just another patient, she knows your health history and you as a person. You'll also get to know all the staff and calling with questions goes straight to a nurse without a long hold time (like other larger fertility clinics may have). I have unexplained infertility with an autoimmune/inflammatory condition that flares with the many ivf medications you need to take, Dr. Lin ensured that I had a plan to control my flares and also found ways to reduce inflammation throughout the process. She also delivered both good and bad news to us promptly and tactfully and always had a plan of action. IVF is not an easy process, but it does help tremendously to have a doctor that you fully trust and is confident in their approach. I'm very happy to say we now have a beautiful baby girl thanks to the Sound Fertility Team.

"ALERT - DO NOT SCHEDULE" MEDICAL REPORTS without a signature?…read moreWhat I experienced at RMA Seattle is not a simple misunderstanding. It is a case of mistreatment, discrimination, racism, retaliation, and administrative practices that should trigger every internal and external alarm. I am sharing this because no woman going through a fertility process should ever experience something like this. My experience at RMA Seattle -- and why I demand internal audits On August 28, I went to an outside monitoring appointment recommended by Dr. Sunny (CCRM San Francisco) and Dr. Kathleinn Lin. I trusted that recommendation. But from the very first contact, everything was a disaster. 1. More than 20 ignored calls To schedule a simple appointment, I had to make more than 20 calls in one day. The system sends you to a voicemail that requires a password to leave a message. How is a patient supposed to communicate like that? 2. Sarcastic and aggressive front desk staff The receptionist, Brittany Warker: * Misspelled my last name * Responded with sarcasm * Showed discriminatory and racist behavior She apologized, but it was clear there was no intention to correct anything. 3. The Seattle manager lost control One day before my appointment, on August 27, I sent an email requesting --with full justification-- to be seen by someone experienced, considering my four fibroid surgeries. The manager's response was: * Disrespectful * Discriminatory * And she practically suggested that I "go somewhere else," attaching an aggressive response and ignoring what I had requested. Is that how you treat a patient in such a delicate IVF process -- a process she claims she also went through? 4. On the day of the appointment, I asked to speak with a manager... and "there was no one" Convenient. 5. I tried to reschedule... and ended up traveling to California They told me they do not attend on weekends. Given such negligence, I traveled to California to receive safe care. 6. On December 16, I tried to schedule an appointment in Bellevue... and the worst happened The manager called me to cancel my appointment because they could not provide outside monitoring for Egg Whisperer. She even mentioned that she "also went through an IVF," as if that justified denying care to another woman. 7. She contacted my private doctor -- and my doctor confirmed it by phone She told her they would not schedule appointments for me because "I offended them." Since when is asking for efficiency an offense? 8. I requested my records... and found something extremely serious Through Egg Whisperer, I requested my records from 08/28. This is what I found: * The report has no medical signature * The technician's name does not appear * It only says "RMA/SEA/Bell" * And the most serious part: They included an internal alert: "PATIENT: ALERT - DO NOT SCHEDULE" Is it professional or valid to place such an alert in an unsigned report? Who authorized that? Based on what criteria? And how many more patients have been marked this way? I am attaching photos of this entire situation because it is unacceptable. My conclusion If you are in a fertility process, especially with medical conditions like fibroids, it seems that at RMA Seattle they expect you not to ask questions, not to request clarity, and not to give feedback. Because if you do, they punish you with discrimination, racism, and by harming the IVF patient to frustrate your IVF process and limit medical access. What a "proud" set of values they claim to uphold -- represented by people who act with zero professionalism. This type of behavior should never be validated.

I made embryos at nearly 40 years old in 2019, had a successful transfer in Sept 2021 (after a break between making embryos and transfer to get married!), and delivered my perfect healthy baby girl in June 2022 after an amazing 41 weeks of pregnancy and just after my 43rd birthday. I cannot say enough about this clinic but this result is truly because I found them... they are caring, smart, clever, diligent, honest, hardworking and just all around some of my favorite people in the world. Jo, Dr, Johnson's right hand (he will tell you this!) answered my emails morning, noon, and night every day of the week whenever I needed her. I actually looked forward to my appointments just so I could see and talk with her! Dr. Johnson is, of course, a talented fertility doc, but also absolutely hilarious... he will take an emotionally challenging situation and still bring a smile to your face. Dr. Rehman is also wonderful and always makes you feel cared for and important to the clinic and their success. And let's not forget Julie at the front desk, who always welcomed me with a warm smile; she will make you feel welcomed and not like just another patient or statistic. There are too many great people to list here! But back to the little one I now have because of all of them. That's right, I had my healthy perfect baby girl at 43! This is after I clearly waited until the 11th hour to make this dream come true. I would certainly do everything exactly the same if to do it again... with this clinic and turning it over to their expertise, as they truly have the most of any clinic out there. I could ramble all day long about how much I love them. Thank you to Overlake for my baby girl. And for all the support, kindness, and even the laughs along the way. I truly am grateful and encourage anyone out there exploring IVF to take the journey with Overlake Reproductive.

They may be merging with Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine, but that does NOT mean they are…read morethe same quality. As prior patients with CCRM, we anticipated similar care with Overlake, that was not the case. I'm shocked CCRM agreed to let Overlake dilute their brand. Overlake has their own protocols that are DIFFERENT than CCRM, and are not aligned with the standard of care for IVF treatment. Overlake failed to administer a standard medication leading up to one of our attempts, and even after repeated discussions did not admit to the omission. Fertility can be confusing, and it is our experience that fertility clinics may lack the best bedside manner, however a clinic cannot be both challenging to communicate with AND be inattentive to the details of such a precise endeavor. If you are considering Overlake based on their association with CCRM, I would caution to reevaluate.

Then one day, after a special moment with someone else's child, something in my heart told me to try one last time before giving up completely. That decision led me to seek fertility treatment. Initially, my insurance recommended a clinic in Seattle, but my sister highly recommended Dr. Deng's office because of their success rates and reviews. I trusted her judgment, and I'm so grateful I did. From the moment I walked into Dr. Deng's office, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff was always kind, supportive, and responsive. No matter how many questions or concerns I had, the team always made an effort to respond in a timely manner and make me feel supported throughout the process. Dr. Deng is incredibly knowledgeable and truly knows what she is doing. One thing I appreciated most was how she personalized my treatment plan by adjusting medications and care based on my specific needs, body, and lifestyle instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. The journey itself was not easy. I went through two rounds of medication, and emotionally and physically it was very challenging. We lost three large mature eggs, which was heartbreaking, but Dr. Deng was still able to retrieve 12 medium eggs. In the end, only three eggs became embryos. We moved forward with one insemination using the best-graded embryo, holding onto hope and praying for a miracle. A year later, that miracle arrived. Today, I am holding my beautiful 7-week-old baby boy and celebrating my very first Mother's Day in 2026. I truly cannot thank Dr. Deng and her incredible staff enough for helping make our dream come true. They gave us hope when we were close to losing it, and because of them, we are finally parents. I will forever be grateful and highly recommend their office to anyone beginning their fertility journey. Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms out there, and to everyone still waiting and praying for their miracle -- never lose hope.

I've achieved one successful pregnancy resulting in my kind, happy little boy and unfortunately lost a second child (a girl) at 18 weeks due to a rare heart disorder. Though the team was exceptional in my first successful pregnancy, they went above and beyond when I experienced my loss. They offered to facilitate specialist appointments and records transfers when it was no longer their role, they investigated anesthesia questions I had surrounding the termination (again, when they didn't have to) and have been thorough and compassionate in responding to questions I've had about my body post-procedures. My heart is with anyone considering this harrowing journey: we are certainly in the worst club with the best members. After experiencing other clinics, I can't recommend PNWF enough. Wishing you all the best in achieving your family goals.

I've observed that people reserve their five-star reviews for when things go well. I understand…read morewhy.  However, I'm going to write this based on my experience thus far. I'm tempted to call out specific names, but instead I'm going to talk about each team that I've worked with as I think on a whole you are likely to have this experience whether it is Bellevue or Seattle location. Note: Bellevue can do blood tests and ultrasounds, but you need to go to the Seattle location for literally everything else. Scheduling/Appointments: when you call please be sure to dial the correct number to get transferred to the right team. One time I waited for 50 minutes to schedule an appointment because I clicked new patient instead of existing. Once you're matched with someone on the appointment team they ask really good questions, and if they're not able to answer the specifics of appointments for you will make notes for the nursing team to respond as soon as possible. They're all very polite from what I've experienced. Nursing: one of the things I love the most about the nursing team is how throughout this process they ask me how I'm feeling, and I can tell that they're not just checking in on my symptoms but also are genuinely interested with concern. They also seem to get along really well. Whether it was calling to check in with me, giving me follow-up messages and instructions, or actually being with me for appointments I always felt support and safe. Physicians: I'll be completely honest my preference is female physician when it comes to this particular area, not because I do not like male doctors but because their perception of the process is different because they literally cannot physically relate. For example, I did a procedure that was incredibly painful, and one of the male physicians recommended that I do it again because he didn't know exactly how painful it could be. That said all of the physicians will answer as many questions as you ask and stay on the call with you for as long as needed. Now this may not be so great when you're waiting for your appointment, but when you're that person who has a lot of questions it truly does make a difference.  Anesthesiologist: The anesthesiologist I was assigned to seems to have a really good sense of humor, and had an energy of confidence and competence that I would be safe and that my heart and breathing would be monitored carefully throughout the procedure. I automatically trusted her having only met her once. Surgeon: I ended up with a male surgeon, which I experienced trepidation around for aforementioned reasons. However the way he introduced himself to me maintaining eye contact, going over the process in layman terms, and being gentle and encouraging when I expressed anxiety also made me feel a sense of trust. There was a Stern looking his eyes, but it wasn't from a domineering place rather a confident place. He said only what he thought was necessary and left room for questions but wanted to make sure we started on time which I appreciated. Phlebotomists: I've worked with this team the most and I'm going to be completely truthful with you. When the phlebotomist is a person of color, the likelihood of them checking for veins and finding a vein and drawing blood the first time is higher and more likely, in my experience. That said, my recommendation is to breathe through injections and drink lots of water before any blood draws (unless they tell you to fast),so you have a higher chance of not needing to be pricked more than once. Records: I've only worked with via messages and they get back to me in a day or less, which is awesome. You don't just receive your records, you have to request them anytime you have an appointment. So after every appointment I reach out and they've been okay with that so far. Billing: After you come up with a plan with your physician and nursing team, Billing will both call and send detailed info about what's covered & what isn't. They're available check ins and after meds we're ordered they helped with claims. They're very responsive. If you read this far, good for you. I'm wishing you the very best on your journey and I hope that this review helps. Thank you, SRM team!

With self pay, they quoted everything for IUI and other treatments, and we chose them based on these prices. Now, they've told me their "corporate office" has decided to charge an all inclusive package each cycle that is nearly double the previously quoted prices. Will be looking for care elsewhere because no single ultrasound should cost $650. There are lots of great options in the PNW and it's a shame they've decided to monetize and take advantage even more than most.

After five years, fibroids regrew--which is not uncommon. I went in for imaging every 10 months or…read moreso to keep track of fibroid growth and I'm glad I did. Around the five year mark, they found adenomyosis, which is a common side effect of any gynecological surgery. It appeared on my surgical sites. This isn't the doctor's fault, but it's useful to know and to get imaging for it in the years after surgery. Problem is, when I went back to Dr Winner about a 2nd myomectomy, she encouraged me to do the myomectomy--which could have further increased my Adenomyosis issue. Mine was caused by surgery. The risk of more Adenomyosis was high with another myomectomy. Also, the iron testing she does before surgery is very general--I was anemic (at 24) when her test said my iron was fine. The Adenomyosis was making me anemic (it bizarrely hoards iron in the uterus). At no point did doctor winner advise me that there were other options for treating the Adenomyosis, like HIFU and UAE--both don't require traditional surgery and have great results for fibroids and Adenomyosis while preserving the uterus and eliminating the other health issues from Adenomyosis. This isn't fair to patients. I don't regret my 2020 surgery with Dr. Winner at all, myomectomy was my only choice with a massive fibroid and Winner was 100% the right choice. But when I complained of surgical site pain at my belly button, she didn't inform me that this could be a common side effect of the surgery where bits of endometrial lining could be accidentally left there--causing, essentially, endometriosis. There are interventional radiology treatments that are outpatient for this common side effect. Finding out that crucial context on my conditions had been left out by Dr. Winner in consultations was... not trust building. Dr. Winner should give patients more well rounded advice even if it means they don't choose surgery with her. She's amazing at getting big fibroids out with virtually no scars, doing endo excision, etc., but if you have post surgical issues or adenomyosis or fibroids that are 5-7cm and under, you may want to seek other consultations with interventional radiologists. Ultimately, I traveled to another state to get uterine artery embolization to kill off the fibroids and adenomyosis, which is performed through a single vein. No scars, no need for healing up my abdominal wall, and very little risk of causing more adenomyosis. 1.5 months out, my stomach has shrunk, my inflammation is down, my cycles are cycling and I feel great. I'll go in for cryo treatment of the belly button endo soon. --But I had to do extensive research and find other options all on my own. It would've been the kind thing to do to refer me to other practitioners so I could get the results I needed--elimination of adenomyosis and reducing risk of more adenomyosis sites.
