I'm consistently seen on time for appointments, the staff in office are beyond friendly and Dr. Price has been excellent throughout my pregnancy. She listens to concerns with empathy and offers solutions for treatment no matter how big or small. There's simply a warm and upbeat vibe at this practice. I joined this clinic already into a complicated twin pregnancy. I was seen for OB services at Eastside while also being seen by a specialist at Seattle Children's. The provider ordered redundant services while also dropping the ball on needed services (TSH monitoring and standard glucose test). The specialist tried to collaborate with my Eastside OB and did not have calls returned. I personally asked my provider to collaborate with the specialist and she flat out said no, she is too busy, and asked me medical questions instead. It was bizarre and unprofessional. Provider also told me they as a clinic do not like to collaborate with Evergreen MFM ever since those providers stopped doing the OB role. Again, bizarre and unprofessional. read more

I did not like the care I received. I went here for all 3 times with my 3 kids and had good experiences my first two times before Covid. Since, my third, I did not enjoy the comments from nurses while struggling with high blood Pressure. None of my concerns were met. I was briefly seen by dr Tun. Key word " briefly " after just a couple appoints I decided I've had enough and found a great OB in the same building but upstairs. I actually just met my new OB today ( Dr Penkar she's in the coral building upstairs) and wow let me tell you what a huge difference on so many levels ) Dr Tun may seem nice but it doesn't feel very genuine at all she made me feel like I'm nothing but a number in that office. I just got the " staged " feeling the whole time when I was there. Even the MAs and front desk just all around a really bad experience. I understand doctors are busy but she really needs to do a better job at showing she genuinely cares versus try to get you out so she can see her next patient in line. I was going back and forth for a few weeks on if I should switch my OB office or not but after my 12 week appt I just knew this wasn't a place for me. I'm so glad I found a new OB office that is actually really welcoming. Just makes a whole experience so much better. Having an OB that you enjoy who is actually genuinely caring is so so important. Dr Tun really needs to slow down and show more bedside manner and care that's coming from a natural organic place rather than staged. On top of that she kept telling me that she's very busy and has a whole list of labs to review and that I have a way smaller list than her haha this was said to me after I kindly complained about her long it took to release my labs. I think that was when I've had enough. It's not the message but it's the delivery of it that was just completely inappropriate. So if you're not 100% sure about your experience I urge you to find another OB. We deserve to have a great experience and should not settle for a doctor that we're not loving. read more

I had Dr. Dydell and most of my visits were positive but near the end of my pregnancy my visits became very negative. I started to dread seeing my doctor on delivery day but felt stuck with her as my provider. The birth of my son was uncomplicated and I had a positive experience on delivery day. Would I choose this doctor again? No, but she was good on the day that mattered. read more

They email you a few times asking you to get there 15 min before your appointment and they still make you wait 30 minutes, as if we don't have busy life or work. I thought my appointment with Dr. Dydell was at 10:30, I was told on the phone by the receptionist. I got there at 10:25 and turns out my appointment was at 10:15, so I was 10 minutes late. This was my first appointment with her. Because I was late they couldn't see me, or reschedule me for any future appointments which was pretty ridiculous. I understand I was late, but to have no grace period for being late and also to not be able to reschedule me for any future appointments I was pretty shocked. Don't recommend this place. read more

I would recommend passing on this office. Not so much for the doctors, (I see Dr. Mary Tsuang, who is very GOOD), but for the receptionists and others who work in the office. The receptionists DO NOT CARE why you're calling, they make it extremely evident that you as a patient DO NOT MATTER to them whatsoever. I called to make my "Annual" appt, and they could NOT make the appt - EVER - even MONTHS out in the future! They were "too booked". Not acceptable. So, I had to lie and say the appt was for something else, just to get my Annual in. (Dumb). Also, their portal is SEPARATE from Evergreen's MyChart, which is a pain. Their portal is cheap and doesn't offer the normal choices, like being able to opt OUT of paperless billing. This office makes it pretty obvious that you as a person do NOT matter, appts that you want to make do NOT matter, and they are unable to schedule them for you anyway. Also, everything is extremely RUSHED at the office - they want to get you in and especially OUT as soon as humanly possible. You are just a "cog" in the fast-moving wheel. read more

I'm just getting into my third trimester with my first. My experience thus far with this clinic could not be better! Incredible staff, nurses, etc and I LOVE my doctor! Dr Price is incredibly helpful, honest, supportive, and she has a great sense of humor. I wish she were a pediatrician too so I could keep bringing my baby to her! If you need help or have questions, it's super easy to get in to get in touch with someone in the office. Unlike other clinics where you have to leave a message or go through a series of automated systems, you'll actually talk to a (helpful, kind) person right away. I've had some billing questions and the front desk staff were super responsive. The on call nurses also get back to you quickly if you have a medical question. I wanted to make sure I left a positive review for Eastside because I did leave a negative review for a different clinic... so, if you're looking for an OBGYN, you should definitely come here!!! I did not have a good experience with Eastside Ob. I tried to make an appointment before I got pregnant and was told unless I was pregnant they couldn't see me for at least 10 months. I wanted to get my IUD out to be able to get pregnant. I went to planned parenthood and got it out and then got pregnant. I called again and made an appointment and their tone on the phone now that I was pregnant was very different. Far nicer than they were before. I ended up having a miscarriage and the nurse was extremely rude about the whole thing. I was 6 weeks pregnant and she tried to belittle me and call it just a "chemical" pregnancy, which it wasn't. Never said sorry or anything comforting. I got pregnant again and when I tried to make an appointment the same nurse again tried to belittle me and say "how do you even know you're pregnant if you haven't been to a doctor?" IM TRYING TO GO TO THE DOCTOR THATS WHY IM CALLING! I cried to my husband about how rude the nurse was to me. When he talked to that nurse on the phone she was a lot nicer to him. I wonder why. I said screw it and went to overlake. They have been far nicer and haven't belittled me. All the nurses at overlake and my other doctor have been actually nice about my miscarriage and either apologized or related to me. If you feel belittled you don't have to be treated that way. Eastside ob should know who they are hiring to represent them. The doctors may be fine there I never actually got in to see anyone. read more

I see a lot of unfortunate reviews that don't reflect this office at all. I have been coming to Eastside OB for just under five years. Dr. Wittman and the entire staff of OBs here are excellent. I have been treated with so much above and beyond care from every member of the staff. I think I remember one receptionist to whom others are referring - she wasn't ever very pleasant - seemed to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder but even she didn't have enough negative to lower my rating of the overall practice. I had an incredible second birthing experience under the amazing care of this practice after a traumatic first birth. And I am currently receiving attentive quality care for my current pregnancy. Minus 1 star solely for the office staff/folks who are on the phones. I see Dr. Tun who is incredible. I was recommended to her by a friend and I would recommend her to anyone else. The nurses I've had in appointments to help check vitals, get imaging and such are also amazing. The negative experiences I have had have all been over the phone trying to refill prescriptions or get appointments. Could be the same nurse each time but I've had a rude and passive nurse multiple times just not be helpful at all and super frustrating. All in all, highly recommend this place but know your phone convos won't always be the most pleasant :) read more

For context I had a baby in the middle of the pandemic where there were no vaccines in sight and I lost a family member due to COVID related issues. I worked with Dr. Tun in this office through most of my pregnancy and she was nothing but nice at all my appointments. As things got worse with the pandemic I didn't want to take the risk of exposing my child to the virus in a busy hospital and decided to have my child birth at a birthing center but as luck would have it we had a prolonged labour and ended up at Evergreen for an emergency c-section. Due to post surgery issues I was asked to go to this office to address my complications. Since I had worked with Dr. Tun I requested to see her but was told she wasn't available, in fact I couldn't get any doctor from this office to see or help me. At the time I was just trying to I get help, after struggling to get help here it took me a while to get another practice at Evergreen to help find a doctor that would see me. When I reached out to Dr. Tun's office for some paperwork after I recovered, I was told that she put in my records she does not want to see me and and no one in this office could see me either. I went through hell after my c-section trying to get help here and to realize that I couldn't get any doctor to see me because of Dr. Tun's note on my records was infuriating. I paid all my bills on time, I was polite to deal with, and I was on time for all my appointments so I really didn't understand why a doctor with a well established practice would be so petty and that too in the middle of a global pandemic, just because I was concerned for the safety of my unborn child. We need doctors that actually care vs. just pretend to care. To put a patients health at risk because of pettiness is unacceptable for any healthcare provider. read more

I absolutely love the doctors and staff at this location and recommend them to anyone who will listen, but what I cannot stand is anytime I call, I am placed on hold for 5 minutes or more, there is no way to pay my bill except to call the office and pay by phone, pay in office or send a check in the mail (who uses checks anymore?)and I am never sent a confirmation of payment or receipt. As someone who works 50+ hours a week, I don't have an extra 5+ minutes to sit on hold just to pay my bill and for this reason, it makes me frustrated and to the point of looking for another provider..I am hopeful they will offer online payments just like my other doctors at Evergreen. read more

I've been a nurse for several years, but having a baby, while being one of the greatest joys of my life, was also something I was nervous about! Dr. Tun had a way of making me forget that, and has turned out to be hands down THE BEST OBGYN I've ever been to. Her bedside manner is so calming and supportive. I felt completely comfortable as she is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything well. Her staff and everyone at the office are kind and welcoming. I work with a lot of the anesthesia dr's that also service Evergreen Hospital, and 100% of them couldn't say enough good things about her. I felt like my care was above and beyond anything I could have expected, and so without any reservations, I would highly recommend her to anyone for their care. I haven't seen the doctors here, so this review is not for them. The nurse that called me back after speaking to the receptionist (Robin?), who was friendly by the way, was incredibly rude. Her tone was dismissive, irritated, & she acted like I was stupid for the reason I was calling. I could tell she could care less about my problem & wanted me to go elsewhere. I am really disappointed by the way I was spoken to, I hope the rest of the staff here isn't like her. I won't ever know, I'll gladly wait 3 + weeks to go to my primary Doctor. read more

I finally went in to see Dr. Dydell and it looks like I made the right choice switching to another doc. Although, the receptionist who has no badge on wasn't happy to check me in and I was almost thinking of looking elsewhere after the assistant gave me the wrong BP & WT number. Well Dr. Dydell came in very knowledgeable, empathic and kind. I know she probably has much on her plate and more patients to go for the day, but she already went through my chart and knew my history. She took her time to answer all of my questions, and got to know me better. I must say she is very honest and truthful and you can trust her as your doctor. She stepped out during my appointment just to get me a book to read about my pregnancy situation. The awesome thing she said was "I am going to coordinate with MFM, so we can see you the same day and you don't have to make long trips twice every 2weeks". Guys, not all doctors care about how you get to your appointment or if you travel from another world to see them. So at this time, I'm just going to overlook the front desk lady sauciness and the the medical assistant that gave me a generic BP of 120/74....(that ain't my BP boo) & pre-determined WT. Fingers crossed, I am hoping for the best for myself and Dr. Dydell. She was phenomenal and ready to work with me. read more

Dr. Whitman was a godsend! I recently gave birth to my daughter and thanks to Dr. Whitman everything went smoothly. I was going to Overlake Obgyn during the beginning of my pregnancy. Due to conflicts with my previous doctor I switched halfway through my pregnancy. I was so happy that they took me considering how far along I was. She really worked with my about my concerns. I believe if you let her know what you expect in regards to your experience she takes it into consideration. I let her know I was working full time and a full time student. With that being said she kept the appointments to a minimal within reason. Also, I found scheduling with her was very flexible. read more

DR. Tun was so amazing from start to finish with our little boy coming intro this world. My pregnancy wasn't always smooth sailing and I did end up getting c section at 37 weeks. The whole way she made me feel like things would be okay no matter the news or things that came up. She took my anxiety into consideration the whole pregnancy and every visit was great with her. She always explained things in a great calm way. I felt like she truly cared about us and our growing family. Alexis was also amazing and always so happy and helpful. Even though my birth plan didn't go as planned I felt that I was in the best hands and truly cared about. read more

The first time I went for my annual pap things were great. Loved Dr. Wittman, she saw me promptly, was friendly and caring, one of the best doctors I've ever had. A couple of years go by and I make another appointment. I called early in March and I was asked when I wanted to have my appointment, so I said "sometime next week". The appointment lady stops me and says the first available date is in May (um, she could have said that at the beginning, so, yeah...) The day before of my appointment I make sure I don't have any other conflicts so I can make it (cancelled another important appt. because I do want to make this one happen). I get a call during the day saying that they need to re-schedule because Dr. Wittman has a scheduled surgery. The call came at my home phone where I'm not until night time (I'm pretty sure they have my cell number, but no call was made to that number...) Not cool. I love the doctor but the service is definitely lacking... Calling another OBGYN right now... read more

I love Dr. Dydell! She is amazing, and always made me feel very important as a patient while I was there. She listened to my concerns and as a first time mom didn't make me feel dumb for asking the questions I did. Dr. Tsuang delivered my baby and I also had a great experience with her. She took the time to explain everything to me and my husband and it was a good experience. My only complaint and the reason why I could not give this place 5 stars is because there was a receptionist there was was incredibly rude. I would cringe when she answered because she made me feel like I was bothering her and asking too much. The new office staff are way friendlier so that's a relief. read more

We had a fantastic experience with our pregnancy and birth here at Eastside OB/GYN and at Evergreen Hospital. My primary doctor was Dr. Wittman, but Dr. Tsuang ended up delivering me and performing an unforeseen necessary procedure during my 1st trimester. I spoke with Dr. Dydell several times on the on-call line. All three doctors were wonderful, and I would not hesitate at all to recommend them. Some of the reviews mention a Dr. Davis who isn't there anymore. It's a small practice of all female doctors. The office staff was always friendly and organized - a major plus when having to schedule many, many appointments. When we went for appointments, we almost never waited more than 5 minutes before being seen. What I really want to rave about, though, is the professionalism and respect that Drs. Wittman and Tsuang demonstrated throughout our entire pregnancy and birthing experience. My questions were always answered, and I never felt rushed during appointments. When I had an emergency in my 1st trimester, the issue was handled immediately and in a way that made sure that I was healthy as well as the baby. I felt like they took every issue very seriously and made sure to find a good solution. When I said that I didn't want to drink the glucose drink for the gestational diabetes, Dr. Wittman didn't question it and simply had me do a fasting blood test instead. Any concern that my husband or I brought to her was addressed in a professional and respectful way. I also felt like my birthing choices were completely respected and that I had the freedom to have the kind of birth that I wanted. The birth of our baby was amazing with Drs. Wittman and Tsuang. The labor was long and difficult (48 hours), and there were complications that were unforeseen. In retrospect, I understand better how serious these complications were to both my health and our baby's health. At the time, however, I simply felt well taken care of and able to relax and rest in order to have a good birth. Decisions were made with my full input and consent, and actions were taken swiftly to prevent any negative outcomes of the birth. Timing was essential, and they made sure that the care that my baby and I needed was ready without any delay. I feel absolutely certain that if we had been in the hands of anyone less capable, our daughter might not be with us today. Instead, we have a healthy, beautiful baby, and my recovery has been far quicker than I expected. Our experience of the birth was extremely positive, and we feel very grateful to have been under the care of such excellent and caring professionals. read more

Since my previous review things have gotten better with their office staff. There are friendly ladies typically greeting me now and the phone wait is minimal to none. Also, the Dr seemed very concerned and apologetic that any results etc took so long to get back. She is truly kind and has given me fantastic care since I began seeing her years ago. Dr. Christina Tun is a very friendly and knowledgable GYN. This is my second year having her as my doctor . She does her best to insure comfortability throughout the duration of the visit. I am so thankful to have been graced with her expertise. I also, had the pleasure of having evergreens finest nurse Stephaine Burkin. She is very attentive and kind. If you are looking for a great Dr. for pregnancy and childbirth, Dr. Dydell is it!! Look no further. I moved to WA last year and got pregnant soon after. I needed to find an OBGYN and found Eastside and Dr. Dydell. Dr Dydell was absolutely amazing from our first visit to the birth of our baby boy and beyond. She is smart, practical and gives you the information you need in an understandable way. She answered all of my first time mom questions and put me at ease. As a bonus, she has a great sense of humor as well:) I was always comfortable and calm and trusted fully that she would take great care of us and she did just that. There were a few challenges the week of my due date that led to an induction and ultimately a c-section. I knew I was in great hands throughout all of it and Dr. Dydell eased my nerves and really delivered for us (pun intended). She made me feel like no matter what issues arose, everything was going to be ok. She brought us a healthy baby boy and made the entire experience a very positive one, which was just what we hoped for. We are so lucky and grateful to have found this amazing lady. read more

Had Dr Davis 6 years ago. He lied to me and told me the hospital would not accommodate me on the weekend my daughter was due. (He was actually going on a golfing trip). I caught him in his lie and demanded to be induced as we had agreed upon (at 40 weeks). At this point he made me undergo an extensive ultrasound to see if my baby was high risk. (My pregnancy up to this point was normal). The ultrasound techs were baffled that I was even in their office. They refused to give me the ultrasound at first, then Dr Davis got quite angry with them on the phone. I got the ultrasound ( it was not so comfy lying there on my back for an hour 9mos pregnant). Luckily Dr Davis was NOT there when I gave birth, but Dr Whitman took great care of me! Funny thing was, I had another pregnancy about 2 years later, and I wanted Dr Whitman to be my doctor so I called the office. The lady I spoke with said that would be impossible, that I was Dr Davis' patient, and that I would have to see Dr Davis and she offered to get me an appt. Dr. Tun is probably the best obgyn I've ever had. She really listens to me, I can be open and honest with her, she's personable and puts me at ease. I walk out feeling better about my health and my options. She's been able to give me explanations for things that doctors in the past either gloss over or refuse to answer at all.
