I wish I could say I had a great experience like the others on here have, but I can't. I moved here last year from California and needed a new obgyn. I had a hysterectomy in 2021 that left me with a bunch of medical ptsd and many side effects post op that I still experience to this day. I was excited to see so many positive reviews for an obgyn. Thinking to myself maybe I will finally find a doctor who isn't dismissive and actually wants to help me. I was losing my hair, having mood swings, in a span of 1 year I had 5 UTIs and never had a history of having them ever before my hysterectomy. I had joint pain amongst a few other things. So she saw me and claimed that birth control was to be the best option. Took it, didn't work. Contacted her again months later with now ongoing bloating and cramping more often than usual. Did an ultrasound and found my ovaries are the size of someone who is postmenopausal. I'm 37 and was told my hormones shouldn't change much after my hysterectomy. She did a "hormone check" of only my fsh, estrogen, cortisol. All according to her "came back normal". She was "sorry" and passed me on to a naturopath. I know when something is off in my body and I have not felt the same since my hysterectomy. I know she didn't perform the surgery, but I came to this doctor out of complete despair because I have 2 children at home and a husband like many do. I have people who depend on me. I deal with these things that bother me on a daily basis. I am active, I eat right, I have tried supplements. Nothing helped me. To be dismissed in the way that she did knowing what I had been through was not only hurtful, but made me feel despair all over again. Doctors are meant to help patients figure out the problem and treat them.. to investigate. Not be dismissive if they don't find an answer right away after one single blood test. Naturopath doctors aren't cheap, and I really was relying on Dr.Dvorak to help me because of her reputation. I feel absolutely dismissed/neglected and stuck exactly where I was to begin with. If you are having issues that don't have a simple answer and want a doctor who is willing to keep helping and looking until you feel better... You know, what doctors are SUPPOSED to do... don't come here. I hope she reads this and knows how much it hurts living like this every day. Left to figure it out myself. I guess this is the new normal here in American medical care. read more

I had a well-visit with Dr. Dvorak. I had a great experience making the appointment over the phone. The receptionist was friendly and answered all my questions ahead of time. She also helped me confirm that Dr. Dvorak was covered under my insurance. Additionally, paperwork and forms were sent electronically to me ahead of time, which allowed me to complete the forms from home. I also didn't have to arrive extra early to my appointment. As for the visit, the office is located in a convenient location in Bellevue, and there's ample parking! I was greeted warmly and felt at ease the moment I entered. I was worried I would have to wait a long time based on other reviews, but that was not the case with this visit. As soon as it was my appointment time, the nurse called me back. The nurse was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. She spent time taking my vitals and also doing an initial intake of my concerns and what I would like to discuss with Dr. Dvorak. Once all of that was covered, she left me alone so I could change into the dressing gown for my appointment. I only waited 5 minutes before Dr. Dvorak came in. She is an amazing human being and doctor. She was great in listening to me and spending time with me. She took everything I had to say seriously and never dismissed me. She spent time reviewing my history and getting to know what my level of normal is for my body. She was not judgmental and made sure any decisions made was what worked best for me. I never felt rushed, and I felt like I could talk to her about anything. When my appointment was done, the receptionist informed me that they would call me next year to book my appointment. I definitely plan on coming back. And if I have to wait a little bit next time for Dr. Dvorak, I will happily wait for her. I know she's providing great care to another woman. More women deserve great health care!! read more

Front desk staff is so rude. Dvorak is nice and has great bedside manner, but doesn't always give you the full information, she kind of glosses over things. That works for some, but not all. And the hospital she delivers at is the absolute worst. I have major PTSD from giving birth, almost 5 years ago, and will not be having another child due to this. Another doctor in her practice is who ended up delivering me and I tore in multiple places and have a ridiculous amount of scar tissue from this. I was also induced due to elevated liver enzymes and high BP, but once I delivered my baby, I was not seen even once, to make sure my liver function was back to normal and my blood pressure had stabilized. 4 years later, I am still having side effects and medical complications from the lack of postpartum care I received. I met another mom with a similar horror story and was shocked to hear she was also a patient at this practice. Dvorak has many great reviews and is a very nice person, but this practice could use A LOT of help and should certainly think about delivering at a hospital with staff that actually gives a crap about moms. read more

After having a not so great experience with my last women's doctor, I was hoping to find a good fit. I found Dr. Dvorak online and scheduled an appointment. I had my first appointment with her the other day. The folks working at reception were kind. The nurse (?) who brought me back to my appointment room unfortunately wasn't very friendly. I believe my appointment was categorized incorrectly when it was booked (which may have been an error on my part) -- when I explained the reason for my visit, she explained that they probably wouldn't be able to see me for that because "it wasn't what I scheduled my appointment for." I politely explained that I must've made a mistake and was very apologetic, but her tone of voice/overall attitude had rude undertones. Her attitude caused me to become a bit emotional (which is pretty unusual for me), and once that happened, her demeanor and attitude slightly shifted and she was a bit nicer... After that interaction, I was nervous about meeting with Dr. Dvorak. I worried that she would also have the same unfriendly tone with me... Turns out she was the exact opposite! Dr. Dvorak was immediately caring, kind, and welcoming. She was professional, yet warm -- truly what I believe a women's doctor (or any provider for that matter) should be. She intently listened to me and treated me with respect. I felt very comfortable with her. It can be nerve wracking switching to a new doctor, but I would highly recommend Dr. Dvorak to anyone. I plan to continue seeing her for my annual check ups! read more

Worst experience ever! Unless you're a size 2 and only gain 20 lbs max don't even bother! She harped on me about my weight and even told me to consume less calories. Absolutely unbelievable! I am 5'8" for the record and 140 pre prego. Gained 30 lbs thus far. I made the switch and I'm relieved to have someone else deliver my baby. Update* I gained around 35 lbs total. She was absolutely assanine to be harping on me about my weight. I even over exercised because of what she was saying and put myself into Pre term labor! I caution everyone and absolutely DO NOT recommend her at all! read more

I noticed there weren't many recent reviews so I figured I'd write one. My baby boy was delivered via C-section last May, in 2020. Dr.Dvorak is awesome. I was walking later that day and feeling back to normal within the month. She's extremely knowledgeable and a competent surgeon. Looking forward to coming back with future pregnancies. read more

OMG Don't waste your time if you have to be anywhere at all the day of your appointment. Talk about disrespectful. First time appt. Waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes- 40 - and finally the medical asst calls my name and brings me into a room. She says the doctor is still going to be a while.... wait, what...?? I said maybe they could call their patients to let them know when the doctor is behind schedule and I was told "Oh we don't call patients..." - wait, what??? Needless to say, I'll be sending them a bill for MY time wasted. I suggest if you've had this experience, you do the same. Dr. Dvorak is an excellent OB doctor. She is very caring and a good listener. I am an anxious person and I needed a doctor who could hold my hand and explain everything and address my concerns. Her staff is amazing too. Her head nurse, Kaleigh, is also wonderful too. Basically, the whole staff from billing to front desk really made my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period less stressful. Dr. Dvorak is great with dealing with pregnancy complications like preeclampsia. After my birth she checked in with me daily via email to get my blood pressure vitals and adjusted my meds until everything was normal even after several weeks postpartum. Dr. Dvorak only delivers at Overlake. She was in constant communication with the hospital during my induction and subsequent delivery. I also received excellent care at Overlake. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Dvorak. I had a great pregnancy and although my baby's birth was not as plan this doctor was flexible and knowledgeable to make my birthing experience memorable ( a good way). Dr. Dvorak was my obgyn during my pregnancy and I could not have asked for better. She was very supportive during the entire pregnancy and would listen to and answer all my concerns calmly. We had planned for a natural delivery but I had to undergo a c-section due to some issues and she stayed in the hospital the entire night to monitor my health. I do not know why this doctor has good reviews. However, that was the reason my daughter chose her to deliver her baby. Dr. Dvorak is VERY careless. She did not even request any ultra sound for my daughter when the baby had less and less movement. She thought it was normal. When the labor was so intense, she took her time came to hospital late and slowly. It was at that moment, she realized the baby was choked by the cord and just about to die. An emergency C-section was performed. Baby got saved but my daughter got severe inflammation on the surgery area, Unbelievably she discharged my daughter on the third days as a normal delivery. My daughter later had to be rushed back to the hospital to treat her inflammation for another week. Nightmare! Not only this, Dr. Dvorak performed a lousy circumcision for baby boy. it has been several months, his penis looks deformed. Every time I change his diaper, my heart twist. If this is not a malpractice, what is it? She deserves NO star. read more

After a lot of research of OB/GYN's in Bellevue, we chose Dr. Dvorak for our first pregnancy and are so glad that we did. In today's world of large, corporate feeling practices where your see a different doctor every visit and never know who is going to deliver your baby, MedPark OB/GYN takes us back to a time of smaller, private practices. The providers and staff take the time to get to know you as a person and not as an appointment time slot. I was amazed that Dr. Dvorak did not have to reschedule a single appointment, provided that she delivers 85% of her own patient's babies (which is unheard of in today's OB world). She always makes an effort to be 100% present and always has a smile on her face. She is very professional, warm, and knows her stuff. With every prenatal visit, Dr. Dvorak took the time to answer all of our questions (no matter how ridiculous). I am certain that my pregnancy was as 'uneventful' as it was because with every visit she prepared us for what to expect, which inevitably came true before the next appointment. When I was in labor, she showed up at the perfect time and was such a reassuring and calming presence. We could not have asked for a better way to bring our little one into the world. Something important to note: if you are looking for a practice with an online portal, electronic health records, and emailed/text appointment reminders, then you may want to consider a larger practice. It personally was not an issue for me, but I could see how it could be an issue for some people. read more

Dr. Dvorak has been my OB since I moved to Washington last year. In that year, she has done more for me then any gynecology doctor I've ever received medical care from. Not only does she have the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen, but she is quick, intelligent, and more importantly, she really listens. I couldn't have been luckier to have her as my doctor for my second pregnancy; which wasn't the easiest given my medical history. Dr. Dvorak is the best obgyn you could ask for. Not only is she very knowledgeable and can immediately zone in on what the problem is, her skills are unmatched. I had a really smooth C-Section and recovery thanks to her because she did a great job with my incision. I also had preeclampsia so the post partum required a lot of work and she helped me get through that to stabilize my blood pressure. She is also very gentle and has a great personality. This is my OBGYN of choice. I had a terrible prior experience during infertility treatment that left me very traumatized however I still needed more care and I very much wanted another child. My husband went hunting for a doctor on my behalf after not one but two other doctors made me feel worse! Enter Dr Dvorack. She's amazing. She's held my hand through loss. She's sat on the phone with the ER when I was very sick. She's helped with bizarre and outdated requests and she has never, ever made me feel uncomfortable. Never. Now that I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby I'm back in her office. She was so pleased to see my name on the list! And so very kind and patient with my excited 7 year old who had to know how ultrasound worked. You won't regret visiting Dr D no matter the cause. Apparently what they care is if I have insurance card ready before I can make any appointment. If you don't do consolation said it when I ask the question first not when you take all my info an I refuse to give insurance info until the appointment date. Dr. Dvorak and I had a very long journey together. My husband and I started trying for baby #2 in 2015. We were thrilled when I got pregnant right away and devastated when it ended just as fast. Dr. Dvorak was helpful and there for us. I went on to have several other miscarriages. She ran tests, always treated me as an individual, not as "just another patient", and even went beyond and communicated with a high-risk doctor to find answers. I was diagnosed with a rare blood clotting disorder and was ready to give up. If this couldn't happen, I didn't want to get my hopes up and keep trying. I had wanted to get my tubes tied. She discussed my options and asked if we could try one last attempt at something different to try and get a healthy pregnancy. I agreed and it worked! I became pregnant and stayed pregnant in January 2017. She was always available for questions and always took careful precautions. She had a wonderful bedside manner and never rushed me. If she ran a little bit late, I knew it was because she was giving the same kindness and care to her other patients. She didn't have to put in all the efforts that she did. I literally signed up for a yelp account just to write this review. Dr. Dvorak is an amazing obstetrician! She helped us navigate through the pregnancy and birth of our first child with kindness, humor and a laid back but knowledgable take on things. After speaking to many friends in the last few months I've found that I have only one friend who's experience mirrored mine and that friend also had Dr. Dvorak! We actually missed seeing her after the birth :) who can say that? A rare few I'm sure. We just hope she's not so booked up by the time we work on number 2 that she can take us again. I, unfortunately, had a poor experience with Dr. Dvorak. She is not tactful - glib sometimes, and does not respect patient-provider boundaries in regard to treatment planning. I gave it a few months but was very uncomfortable or offended each time. I have been going to dr. Dvorak since last October and I waited to leave a review till now so that I base my review on my overall experience from early pregnancy till after delivery. Nice clean office, helpful front desk lady, very little wait time (10 minutes max if any), the nurse is very kind and always greets me with a smile. Dr. Dvorak is very attentive and a great listener, she doesn't leave until she makes sure all my questions were answered and my concerns are gone. My pregnancy and delivery went so smooth. I'd only had one "lady exam" prior to making an appointment with Dr. Dvorak, mostly because I have a lot of fear and "white coat syndrome," but once I met Dr. Dvorak, all of those fears went right out the window. She genuinely cares about her patients - she made sure to take the time to answer my questions and be thorough, unlike some doctor experiences I have had in the past. She offered options that the previous doctor I'd seen had shut down, and she didn't once lecture me about weight loss, as others have. She is very intelligent, compassionate and puts you at ease immediately. Dr. Dvorak is a very sweet doctor, and very caring. She was my OB throughout my entire pregnancy. However, on week 38 of my pregnancy, my blood pressure went through the roof, and I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. She admitted me to the hospital right away to have my baby. She completely respected my wishes, as I definitely wanted to have the baby vaginally, so she did all that she could to make that happen. The problem was really after I had the baby. My blood pressure remained high, as it sometimes can when you have preeclampsia, even after you have your baby. Dr. Dvorak told me to follow up with her on my blood pressures every day until my 6 week follow up, and then we would re-evaluate the situation. After 4 weeks of following up with her, she told me that it was no longer a preeclamptic issue, that it was probably just a high blood pressure issue now. I did my own research and read that a woman can have high blood pressure for several months after having her baby. I decided to get a second opinion with a highly recommended OB at Swedish Hospital, and she told me that the high blood pressure could last up to a few months after having a baby. So my thoughts were that Dr. Dvorak hadn't really dealt with a situation like this before, and she just didn't want to deal with me any longer than she had to. I also ended up having kidney damage, and she didn't even try to make sure I was alright. She just told me to follow up with my primary care physician. My high blood pressure did end up subsiding after 3 months, and I'm so glad I got a second opinion. If this hadn't happened I would've given Dr. Dvorak 5 stars, because she really was very nice, and she seemed to be very open to following exactly what I wanted in my birth plan before the complications arose. read more

Thankfully, I started seeing Dr. Dvorak when I decided to finally figure out why and what I've been suffering from for the past 15+ years regarding my feminine health. Dr Dvorak is by far one of the best doctors I've seen! She's been my Obgyn throughout my pregnancy and I'm at week 30 now and she has been amazing all throughout. The way she talks to you is more like a friend talking to you than a doctor, she makes you feel at comfort even when you have your worries. I want to start off by saying Dr Dvorak is AMAZING! She has amazing bedside manner and puts you at ease. This review is based on the front desk. I am appalled. Everytime you ask them something the answer will be "I dont know " with zero solutions. I was asking for a prescription and she told me " the doctors nurse isnt in". Um, ok well is there someone else who can help me? I work as a healthcare professional at a specialty clinic and the kind of behavior I have noticed here would NEVER fly where I work. Im just surprised they would have front desk staff so apathetic, especially in a OB clinic where people pregnant and such. I would literally change OBs because of the unprofessionalism but the doctor is that good that I will stick it out. read more

I visited her for the first time after my OB Dr Graham retired....at first I was hesitant starting over with a new doctor but it didn't take long for me to get to know and love Dr. Dvorak. She sat with me and talked about childbirth (my husband and I were talking about wanting to have another baby) and she ended up delivering our third boy about a year and a half later! Dr. Dvorak is very friendly and knowledgeable with good bed-side manner, but her front office is frankly a mess. My wife and I were relieved to have found Dr. Dvorak after moving to the area, but things started to go wrong rather quickly. When it came time for an expensive screening procedure, I asked her nurse, Anna, to file a pre-authorization with my insurance. After not hearing any feedback for a while, I followed up and she said that she doesn't understand why she needs to do it. After I explained the reason, she said that it was too difficult and we should just proceed with the procedure anyways. I gave her more specific guidance but did not hear back. After a few more days, she said it was still an unclear process and didn't know what to do. For the 20-week ultrasound, the doctor ordered us to the nearby hospital and Anna sent an authorization sheet. When I called the hospital to make the appointment they said that the sheet was incomplete and the nurse needed to include more information. Anna sent the sheet back in, but it was still incomplete. This back-and-forth continued for two weeks and we were unable to make an appointment by the 20th week. Then the doctor called and said she could no longer provide care for us because the hospital stopped taking our insurance. After a weekend of panicking we received a call from somebody in accounting saying that there has been a mistake and Anna would follow-up with clarification. We never received another call. I found another OB/GYN and asked Anna to send my wife's records to them before our appointment in three days. When we arrived at the new doctor's office, they had not received any records. As I said, the doctor is great, but her front office makes it very difficult to receive good care. Dr. Dvorak needs to re-evaluate her nurse and front office so that patients receive professional and timely care. read more

When it was time for delivery at 2:00 in the morning on thanksgiving night, she woke up middle of the night and came to hospital for delivery. As she promised us to be with us during delivery.
