I had my first appointment with her the other day. The folks working at reception were kind. The nurse (?) who brought me back to my appointment room unfortunately wasn't very friendly. I believe my appointment was categorized incorrectly when it was booked (which may have been an error on my part) -- when I explained the reason for my visit, she explained that they probably wouldn't be able to see me for that because "it wasn't what I scheduled my appointment for." I politely explained that I must've made a mistake and was very apologetic, but her tone of voice/overall attitude had rude undertones. Her attitude caused me to become a bit emotional (which is pretty unusual for me), and once that happened, her demeanor and attitude slightly shifted and she was a bit nicer... After that interaction, I was nervous about meeting with Dr. Dvorak. I worried that she would also have the same unfriendly tone with me... Turns out she was the exact opposite! Dr. Dvorak was immediately caring, kind, and welcoming. She was professional, yet warm -- truly what I believe a women's doctor (or any provider for that matter) should be. She intently listened to me and treated me with respect. I felt very comfortable with her. It can be nerve wracking switching to a new doctor, but I would highly recommend Dr. Dvorak to anyone. I made embryos at nearly 40 years old in 2019, had a successful transfer in Sept 2021 (after a break between making embryos and transfer to get married!), and delivered my perfect healthy baby girl in June 2022 after an amazing 41 weeks of pregnancy and just after my 43rd birthday. I cannot say enough about this clinic but this result is truly because I found them... they are caring, smart, clever, diligent, honest, hardworking and just all around some of my favorite people in the world. Jo, Dr, Johnson's right hand (he will tell you this!) answered my emails morning, noon, and night every day of the week whenever I needed her. I actually looked forward to my appointments just so I could see and talk with her! Dr. Johnson is, of course, a talented fertility doc, but also absolutely hilarious... he will take an emotionally challenging situation and still bring a smile to your face. Dr. Rehman is also wonderful and always makes you feel cared for and important to the clinic and their success. And let's not forget Julie at the front desk, who always welcomed me with a warm smile; she will make you feel welcomed and not like just another patient or statistic. There are too many great people to list here! But back to the little one I now have because of all of them. That's right, I had my healthy perfect baby girl at 43! As prior patients with CCRM, we anticipated similar care with Overlake, that was not the case. I'm shocked CCRM agreed to let Overlake dilute their brand. Overlake has their own protocols that are DIFFERENT than CCRM, and are not aligned with the standard of care for IVF treatment. Overlake failed to administer a standard medication leading up to one of our attempts, and even after repeated discussions did not admit to the omission. Fertility can be confusing, and it is our experience that fertility clinics may lack the best bedside manner, however a clinic cannot be both challenging to communicate with AND be inattentive to the details of such a precise endeavor. If you are considering Overlake based on their association with CCRM, I would caution to reevaluate.

When we arrived on Wednesday, the entire process was fairly quick and straightforward since we both had complete immunization records. Dr. Dudetsky was professional, courteous, and helpful. We had to come back a couple of days later to process the results of our TB skin test, and had a very quick visit once again. Results were provided in a sealed envelope as per USCIS standards, and the staff clearly knew what they were doing--definitely something you want when dealing with the government!

After my first appointment, I was told a prescription would be sent. It never sent to my pharmacy. I followed up 19 days later, got no response, and followed up again the next day, before finally getting my prescription. I also asked about scheduling a follow-up appointment at that time and never received a reply. It took 3 weeks before I got my prescription. Months later, I requested a copy of my medical records. I followed up 5 days after the initial request, then had to call 10 days after that just to get them released. It took 2 weeks to get my records. Most recently, I requested a renewal on a medication I've been taking for over 10 years. I heard nothing back for 11 days, then had to call in. I was placed on hold three separate times over the course of one call, totaling around 15 minutes, and was told I'd need to come in for an appointment before they'd refill it. I explained that I needed it immediately because they hadn't responded in 11 days. They put me on hold again and then doubled down on the same answer. Staff also blamed the delay on the receptionist being "new," despite her being the one who put me on hold twice to check with someone else on my behalf. It took 1.5 weeks and I never received my prescription. I have never had such horrible communication or professionalism from a medical facility. I would suggest going literally anywhere else.

Over covid she expanded to telehealth visits which have been great for small concerns although I still generally go to the office. There is an in-house lab making routine stuff really easy. This is the kind of family care I want. She knows me and my family, makes recommendations and sees trends from regular care vs transactional appointments in walk in clinics. And when I want a referral, and I prefer a female provider, she always has someone to suggest that is a quality provider. Cheryl, her ARNP has relocated for family, and I haven't met the new provider but expect her to carry the same values and care to her clients. I'm treated as a person here, with a face and history. it's appreciated.

I've been seeing Dr. G. for 15 years now, and she's always been super-responsive to me, as has the P.A. who works with her, Cheryl Allen. In fact, although I wouldn't call myself a hypochondriac, I AM super-proactive about health issues, due to some crappy genes in the ol' gene pool. So I call the office and visit whenever a pesky issue arises (for fear it's NOT really just a "pesky" issue). Dr. G. and Cheryl have always been very accessible to me (and my husband, who is also a patient). They've always returned my calls, taken the time to answer my questions, and taken my concerns seriously. I don't know the receptionist well, but she's always been pleasant to me. The nurse I've seen there has always been SUPER nice to me. Are we speaking of the same practice??? Yes, I know Dr. G. is into providing cosmetic procedures (something I will never be into, personally), but she's never even mentioned that stuff to me. She is very into sports, fitness and nutrition, and weight loss, and she's very knowlegeable about these issues (which DO interest me). Years ago, she's referred me to the most awesome OB/GYN, and other specialists, all of whom were terrific. I'll always be grateful for these references. She has been wonderful for me and my family, over the years.

Currently 30 weeks pregnant and I've been coming here since ~8 weeks, so this review is for…read moreprenatal care. Scheduling: Like most offices, they book up early. Expect to book out at least 4-5 weeks in advance for the first appointment. During the checkout process they'll line up at least the next 2-3 appointments depending on how far apart they need to be and how likely the office is to book up quickly (e.g.: around holidays). On days I've had ultrasounds they've done a good job making sure I follow up with the Dr right after but still have enough time to get all the images they need. Same for the timed gestational diabetes test - I followed their written instructions and everything went pretty smoothly. They've also made sure not to schedule me on days my provider is on call at the hospital. Appointments: I've never had a long wait time to see my provider. I would say it's at least on par with or better than a standard Dr appointment wait time. When they do occasionally run behind, it's no more than any other Dr's office (20 min at most, only once). Usually they're right on time. They do pad the appointment time so you see the nurse for the standard monitoring before you see the Dr, which is a little annoying given how often you have to come in, but I assume that's pretty standard. Overall, I spend about an hour in the office total if I arrive 15 min prior to my appointment. Provider: I see Dr Moore and she and her support team have a fantastic bedside manner. The few messages I've sent through the portal have been answered quickly and kindly, just as they have been in the office. She always makes sure I understand my screening/testing options and why certain practices are status quo (e.g.: rhogam shot for all negative blood type mothers). She also starts conversations about birth plans/support, preparation classes and other things that are probably on your mind to chat about. Other office logistics: They give you a packet of prenatal info at the first appointment that includes pretty much everything you need to know. You can get almost everything done in their office which is super convenient - flu shot, standard vaccines (not COVID obvs), rhogam, blood work, ultrasounds. The check-in process is a little weird the first time. (I walked right by the check-in kiosk and have seen multiple other women do the same.) And one time their scheduling system was lagging so the ultrasound tech didn't know I was waiting until I went to the front desk and had the gal call her. Their online portal is decent (includes all appts, messaging, patient info), but doesn't have visit summaries which I find disappointing. There's a large parking lot connected to the building BUT depending on when you get there you may still circle the lot for 5-10 minutes looking for a space. Mornings seem to be worse for parking. There's no wifi in the office but they do have a couple of TVs with HGTV going, lol. COVID practices: No kids are allowed at appointments (exception: newborn appts where the newborn is allowed to come ;)) to reduce exposure and everyone is required to wear a mask. You're allowed to bring 1 support person to prenatal appointments and they have to wait outside the office door (not in the lobby) to reduce crowding until you're called in for your appointment. Not a big deal unless your partner is a wandering soul and disappears while you're waiting to be called in. I can't speak to other services or providers but my experience has been great so far.
