It's a shame. I have been coming to and supporting this place for years even though we have had occasional mishaps with our orders. If you have allergy issues, this is not the best place. Tonight we were told they couldn't do the GF penne with grilled chicken because they were too busy. We left and went to Ferraro's who has taken good care of us in the past. It's a further drive for us but one I will be making from now on. read more

Best pizza in Parrish by far. Recommend doing takeout due to limited seating, but worth it either way!

We tried pizza and calamari being delivered. The food was warm at best but definitely not hot. The calamari we fed to the dog. It was flavorless. The only redeeming factor was the marinara sauce. The pizza was a fantastic value as the weight of the box alone was a testimony for all the ingredients. The problem is that it had so much garlic on it the only taste it had was the garlic burning into your taste buds. We will try again due to the great reputation in the local area and see if we have a different review. read more

Pretty darn good Pizza! Good flavor and speedy service!

We have been going to Michaelangelos since we moved into the area 13 years ago. I was a frequent patron when I was pregnant with my second child and they always made sure they had my order ready and didn't wait long. They don't make anyone wait long. My husband and I are from NYC and it's definitely the best NY style pizza around read more

Best pizza in town. They have great baked Italian dishes as well as pasta that is so delicious. We left Ferraro's and I'm glad we did.

Always exceptional food and service! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for good pizza, Italian food, or Italian deserts.

Good NY style pizza in Parrish, without the drive. Only one size pie (2 sizes on Mondays, I think). Only pizza that offers delivery to my subdivision, including National chains, which is fine with me. Garlic knots are awesome! Support local! read more

My husband and I have lived in Florida for two years. We have ordered pizza from a few places and were very disappointed. Today thanks to my brother we tried the pizza at Michelangelo 301 and we loved their pizza. Tasted just like New York pizza!! So excited that we now get to eat pizza once a week. read more

Ordered Chicken Picatta, Veal Marsala, Philly Cheese steak and pizza. All excellent! Delivered early, nice! I will be a regular! read more

Great food great staff. They really support the community. We enjoy everything we have ordered from here. Always busy and still not a very long wait for food. read more

I ordered carry out recently and the pizza here was amazing however the wings were terrible. They were way over cooked and tough. I have had other menu items like the Italian sub and that was amazing as well. I will visit there again overall usually happy with my order I'll just stay away from the wings. read more

Awful awful food and experience. My wife and I got takeout and spent $40 on literal garbage. We ordered the bruschetta, Chicken Alfredo and Cheese Ravioli. Everything we ordered had zero flavor. The bread was even awful-how do you screw up garlic bread?! I love food-I never waste it but tonight we threw it all away. i dont know if I've ever done that in my entire life. The best part (worst part) is when I called and talked to Nick the manager he could care less. Said they never get complaints and offered a credit? I laughed and said a credit for more awful food. We love our Parrish community but Michelangelo's is a joke. Never giving them our business ever again. read more

Something changed. We came here 2 years ago and food was excellent. Lots of good reviews. All 5 dishes tonight were bland. Edible but no flavor. Even chunks of garlic in linguine and clam sauce had no taste. Chicken Francais had no taste. Minestrone soup not as good as previous. Not sure what's up. Place is packed, but not worth a return trip. read more

The pizza is well cooked. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. This is my go to pizza joint and I feel I know what I'm talking about when it comes to pizza. Also, the staff there're really friendly and take p8zza making seriously. Keep it up guys! read more

We ordered to go last weekend. First time ever ordering from here, and it will be the last. We ordered 70$ worth of food, and we ate non of it. When my husband came back from picking it up, we realized they forgot to give him the dozen garlic knots. So I called and had to come back to pick them up. They didn't apologize or offer anything for the inconvenience. When I got back home, we opened up all of our meals. We ordered 2 orders of meatballs, a chicken parm, and a large pizza. Plus the garlic knots. The chicken parm was literally rubber. It was impossible to cut thru. The meatballs were hard and had a weird chemical taste. And the pizza lacked any flavor. I wished I hadn't spent the time and energy to go back up to get the knots, those were super hard and dense, like an over cooked pretzel. Everything was terrible. It was my birthday dinner, and it all went into the trash. read more

Absolutely the best pizza around. If you are looking for a pizza that will be as close to what you what get in the NY area, this is the place to go! read more

First two orders for delivery good. Over an hour wait, but this was expected over supper hour rush. Third and final order- pizza was doughy, even though requested well done. All 4 of our family including the 2 year old got sick. Assuming raw dough. Will never feed my family from here again. Disappointing, scary, and not worth the high price you pay. We only ever had delivery, which arrived within the quoted time frame (after placing the order) of around 75 minutes. read more

Michelangelo's is by far the best food in the area! Their pizza is excellent. We often order the lasagna pizza or the stuffed pizza. Great salads and awesome pasta. The inside is very small but do not let it deter you from the amazing food! Highly recommend! read more

Solid local pizza place. Prices are good. Just not my go to place for pizza in Parrish

Pretty darn good food. Had meatball parm, garlic knots, and baked clams. Good prices. All really tasty. Service was excellent. Only negative is it gets reallllllly warm in there. read more

This place was found in the Publix Plaza in Parrish. Walking in, you would notice the Michael Angelo repaint of the popular "God reaching touch." in the clouds. We sat down and ordered a warm garlic roll. Delicious!! Then we ordered a pizza with mushrooms. Receiving it: I truly think this may be by far the best hand tossed pizza in West Florida!! The sauce was perfect, not too sweet a little tangy but not too rich. The cheese was awesome! The great taste of freshness. Certainly "Real" mozzarella so authentic and stringy. The crust helps steal your taste buds. Crispy in each bite! Perfectly done all around! If in Parrish or Ellenton Florida, look these guys up!! I highly recommend it. Their menu is full with many other Italiano grubs! So mangiare..... read more

We arrived from Oregon, and heard from friends, MICHAELANGELOS pizza was great. We read the reviews, and agreed we would try it. We ordered pizza and garlic knots. We picked up the pizza right on our given time. We live less than 5 minutes away. The pizza definitely was not hot. Barely warmed up. It had scant onion, mushrooms, peperoni, but, had a whole jar full of black olives on it. You couldn't even find the onion, green pepper or onion. But, there were a 100 olives on it. The sauce was bland, the crust was tough because it wasn't hot. I'll need dental work done now. LOL The garlic knots were like Gumming bread dough. Dry gobs of dough. Very disappointed. Would NOT RECOMMEND. Nor go back. Shoe leather with Ragu would have been better. I'm calling my dentist for dental work tomorrow. LOL read more

This is the best pizza around. Their Italian food is really good as well! The service is great. Waitresses are all friendly & professional !

My wife and I have dined-in and ordered take-out numerous times with all visits resulting in fantastic pizza and wings. Matter of fact, we treated some family members last weekend and they had the same assessment. Overall, we favor the Sicilian pizza and hot wings. They hit the mark! read more

This place has gone downhill. I used to be one of their biggest fans, but every time I have gone, it's just not good. Crust was undercooked and toppings (spinach and riccota) had no flavor. I didn't even finish my slice. Disappointing. read more

Service is lacking! Food mediocre... might try again, but there are better options in the area.

Everything I've had here from sandwiches to salads is a 10/10. Best pizza place in town and beyond. I highly recommend the white pizza with pepperoni and olives added. Hands down my favorite pie. read more

Michelangelo's has a nice selection of unique thin crust pizzas. I tried the Spicy Chicken Pizza. The crust was soft but lightly crispy, the Buffalo sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the chicken pieces were large and tender. Overall it was a very enjoyable pizza. read more

Hadn't ordered delivery in quite a while, so when I ordered a Stomboli a couple weeks ago asked for a current menu. So tonight I called to place a delivery order. First of all, the girl who answered the phone had no familiarity with the menu. I ordered off the menu a Rigatoni alla Vodka (menu price $12.95) and a Chicken Piccata (menu price $14.95). I asked for capellini as my pasta side with the Piccata and she said they didn't have Capellini. I was surprised because they have Capellini Angelina on their menu. I asked if it had been discontinued? She had no idea. She said she was new but they didn't have Capellini, so I said angel hair would be fine. She gave me a total of just under $40. When I questioned the prices she said they had just recently raised their prices. I understand food costs and overhead, but seriously... Two pasta dishes, one without any protein, food cost is less than $5. I was ok paying the published menu prices, but tacking on an additional $5 in menu prices plus another unpublished $5 delivery fee seems deceitful and excessive. I am done. Never again! read more

Great tasting pizza, but it is a little pricey for pizza. Friendly staff and they offer takeout, so you can order ahead and pickup when in a pinch. read more

As a proud Italian who regularly visits my Italian grandparents in Parrish, we order from here a lot, and it never disappoints. It's definitely the closest to authentic Italian style pizza in Manatee County. It's superb, even if it's a little pricey. read more

Best NJ thin crust pizza around. Plus all type's available from thick to thin crust. By the slice or pie.

Typically top notch. Not sure what's been happening. Couple weeks ago I ordered a lasagna and and manicotti. Received 2 manicotti. Didn't say anything about it. Friday I ordered chicken Alfredo and it was very dry. Called to complain and was told what do you want me to about it? Nothing I just wanted to let you know it was disgusting. I order a lot from here. Maybe now not so much.Chicken was burnt. read more

I'm not sure what the pizza was we got. My husband ordered a veggie pizza with pineapple. Not sure why he did that. Should have been half Hawaiian half veggie but they gave us a vegetarian pizza with some sort of meat substitute with zucchini, spinach which was bitter, broccoli and the pizza just wasn't good. We both finished our slice and tossed the rest. The crust tasted like a good bread dough but not pizza crust. This won't be our new go to Pizza place. read more
