Our rescue Golden Retriver is a great dog, but she hadn't outgrown some puppy behaviors, such as jumping on people, mouthing, and pulling on the leash. Phil showed us how to teach her what was okay and what was not. Our PeggySue learned a lot. We learned a lot about dog behavior.

Phil was wonderful in helping me understand how I could continue to improve Riley's behavior down the line.

I rushed her to an emergency veterinary hospital, where the vet confirmed--based on X-rays--that the plastic had been ingested earlier that same morning. When I contacted the daycare, I was told their cameras were "down," so there is no footage of what happened while my dog was supposedly in her quiet room. Even after I provided official medical records from the emergency vet, the facility refused to take any responsibility or offer assistance with the emergency vet bill. The only thing they offered was a few free nights of boarding--which I will absolutely never use. My dog will never return here. This was a terrifying, expensive experience that could have ended far worse. If you value your dog's safety and well-being, I strongly recommend finding another daycare or boarding facility that actually takes those responsibilities seriously.

I came to this daycare with high expectations after it was recommended by my trainer, someone I've…read moreinvested a lot of time and money with. I was told the facility had over 15 years of experience and held higher standards, especially given its stricter vaccination requirements compared to other daycares. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how chaotic the environment was. The facility opens later than most competitors, which creates a crowd of people and dogs clustered at the front entrance. Inside, the noise and lack of structure were overwhelming -- barking dogs and confusion, not the calm, controlled atmosphere I expected from a professional operation. I dropped my dog off around 10:30 a.m. for what was supposed to be an evaluation day. By 2:30 p.m., I received a call that he had been scratched by another dog -- seriously enough that they felt the need to notify me. I wasn't given many details, just that he had been playing with a "reserved" dog who jumped and scratched him. My question is: why was this interaction allowed to happen? I was told dogs would be grouped based on temperament. If my dog is moderately energetic, why was he placed with a dog described as reserved? This isn't the first time my dog has been to daycare. He's been to another facility several times without a single issue. I only tried this one because of the recommendation, and now I regret that decision. It seems clear the facility is understaffed. There are simply too many dogs and not enough people managing them. That's a dangerous combination -- and unfortunately, my dog was the one who got hurt because of it. I expected better. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because a lack of proper supervision and structure can easily lead to more serious incidents.

Cookie was loving but she had a TERRIBLE nipping problem (along with other issues). She had gone through 2 trainers already and nothing was working. With a 7 year old child in the house, Cookie spent most of her time in her crate. I just could not risk my daughter accidentally getting hurt. Cookie went with Danny for 4 weeks and she came back a whole new dog. Before Danny, cookie was never allowed to roam the house. I am forever grateful for Danny's patience. He would send me updates, pictures and videos on Cookies progress. He even followed up with another lesson to show my dad how to properly handle Cookie at home. Thank you Danny! You saved Cookie.

When he left, he was biting the furniture, not listening at all to commands and having accidents all over the house. He came home so well behaved, but still with the same cuddly loving personality. We now love taking walks with him as he no longer leads us and listens very well. We would highly recommend Danny's program to anyone looking for a great dog training program. Danny and his wife were very kind and patient and treated Charlie like part of their family!

If you are reading this, your search for dog training stops here. This is the place you need and…read morethey will change your life! This sounds a little over the top BUT I'm not lying. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.
