Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday November 12th 2025 with my parents. First off, been to a Michael's Before, and they usually have nice items such as decorations, seasonal items, arts and crafts, cake decorating items and more! Before we pulled in to the parking lot of nearby Home Depot, we noticed that they had christmas trees, since we saw through the window. After going to Home Depot, we decided to check out the Christmas trees here. Easy parking, as this share a lot with Total Wine next door, and easy to find wagons if one needs, but we didn't get one this trip. Their christmas trees were located in the front, and they had a few nice ones that were reasonably priced, as well as on sale too. Extremely disappointed as a loyal customer - in late December I placed an order online for store pick up. I ended up getting stuck due to work travel and was not able to make it to the store to pick up my item in time. Usually this is not a problem as the order will be cancelled and funds are returned. However, this time, that was not the case! While the attempt for the refund was made the debit card used to make the purchase expired on 12/31 so he funds were rejected. I called the store and explained this, the gentleman on the phone just stated he knows nothing about "this" and gave me the following ph# 800-642-4235 which according to him was a Michael's Customer Care line. So sure, not a problem, I will call them. I waited on hold for over an hour, when I did get to a rep she flat out told me that the issue was my fault for having a bad debit card and I needed to take it up with my bank. I explained to her that I have the same card the only thing different is that it has a new expiration date, I asked if she can run the refund through using the new date. She said that it's my issue with my bank to call them. I didn't get the feeling that the rep fully understood my issue, I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor who called herself Naomi stated that the order was cancelled on their end and the money owed to me ended up "some where". I asked her, if I didn't receive it then where is "some where". She did not have an answer, however, she did say that she needed to connect with her "finance" team for an approval and that they could even provide me with a reference # (not sure what a reference # is). She PROMISED me a call back that day, told me to keep my phone line open and that if she didn't connect with me that day it would definitely be within 24-48 hours. It has been 2 weeks and NOTHING and NO refund. I have attempted to call back but after waiting over 30 mins each time I hang up. I am owed $53.10 from Michael's......and while $53.10 is not going to make or break me, it's still my $$. Either give me my product or help me get my $$ back. read more

I am very disappointed in the handicap accessibility of Michael's. There are zero handicap buggies. There is no place for a person to sit if they need to. Hobby lobby accommodates the handicapped. We decided to take up and learn some vinyl sign cutting skills to go along with our home business. We saw online that they had the two most popular vinyl cutting machines, one by Silhouette and the other by Cricut. Online it was pretty much split for either machine, so I was hoping someone at the store could provide some professional insight. Unfortunately there wasn't any one there that had knowledge of both machines for comparison. I did find a couple of customers who were able to provide personal experience helping me to make a choice. If I could have gotten more store assistance (their own research or a cursory comparison) I would have given 4 stars, since they had better prices than even Amazon. So overall I made a purchase ( the Silhouette) but was not completely happy with the shopping experience. I would have tried Hobby Lobby, but they didn't show any availability. read more

I know what you're thinking...a review about Michael's? Really!? Well, you're the one who searched it! Yeah, yeah, I know (and would normally agree) if you've been to one, you've been to them all, right? Well, almost. I mean they've all got the same stuff. Misc. arts and crafts and an exorbitant amount of crap with glitter on it. Seriously, what's with the glitter? Glitter candles, glitter pine cones, glitter welcome mats, glitter incense holders. Enough with the glitter! BUT, BUT...there's also a frame shop hiding in the back and that is exactly what I I'd like to acknowledge real fast. They're well staffed, exceptionally helpful and actually seem to care about the work they do. I know, shocker...a place that actually takes pride in their work. I've had numerous pieces done there and have sent countless referrals their way with never a complaint. A truly enjoyable experience every time. So, if you happen to be out looking for crap with glitter on it, feel free to drop a few pieces off in the back for matting and framing while you're at it.. That's it for this one. It is a Michael's after all...What else could I add?? "They've got cool paint brushes?!" I covered what was worth covering...move along and thank me for the fame shop tip, later;-) Wait. Nice arts and crafts store. The 10 for $10 sale bins are my favorite. Can stock up on dollar pads and other items they have. I've seen some other crafts stores that have a wider selection, but this one is pretty stocked and has some good sales. read more

I had the most amazing service from an employee working in the framing section! Her name is Faith and she exemplifies great customer service! I had an order that just took time for measurements etc, she managed to help briefly employees walking up AND keep my order processing along nicely! However an unfortunately ride and overtly blasphemous man harassed her verbally and tried to rattle her by cursing and threatening both of us. The Lord placed the sweetest and most patient lady with beautiful aquamarine eyes between him and us who just kept smiling and making the shhhh sign to us while dropped multiple f bombs and took our Lords name in vain. The store couldn't have treated him better! They got him a seat, explained they were short staffed due to a call out and tried to placate his irritate nature! When the manager asked him to please stop yelling and cursing at the employee, he said he was talking to me! I had been very sweet to him all along, smiling and talking pleasant to him, BUT he was really going too far so I told the employee I thought aid go outside and get my husband to help me take my order to the car. Amazingly, he decided to sit quietly until we were done and I left. I can tell you I was still worried about Faith having to wait on him but several people had told her she was worth waiting on and I agree! Extremely nice lady even in a very difficult situation under lots of pressure! Hats off to you Faith!! read more

I ordered at Michael's.com and they canceled my order I called and she says I will receive a refund in 2-3 business days...3 days later ...no refund so I call back ...she says you will receive a refund in 24 hrs ....24 hrs later...no refund so I call no get out on hold...transferred to someone else get transferred again then hung up on...I call no and she says you must wait 2-5 days for a refund even tho I've already received a confirmation number from the day before about a 24he refund ....and now you guessed it still no refund...I will Never Ever order from them again....this was my first and last order. read more
